Hi everyone,
I have just returned from the gym which I needed to go to as yesterday I ate everything in sight. Do you have days like that? Weight is still O.k.
I lost 4 stone 5 years ago and now weigh 8.12 but this morning it was up to 9.2 but hey it was a good weekend!
Dinner will be sausage and mash. DS2 is coming up for dinner tonight he has nearly finished painting his house and should go on the market in the next week. He doesn't want it to but his mortgage rate goes up in August and now he is on his own he can't afford the repayments.
Off to see my DD and SIL and three gougous grandchildren on Friday as it is our grandson's 2nd birthday.
The weather here is overcast but warm.
Hugs to everyone and hope all those in need that things get better soon.
Bye xx0 -
Hello all
Miserable day again.........raining , just like the weather men prophesied.
So far one of those 'negative' days -everyone I need to speak to on the phone isn't there or there's a constant waiting time of ten minutes !
Still, managed to sort a few photos out in some kind of order.
Letting a young girl use the computer for a few things so I'm doing my 'random act of kindness'................:j
Haver a good day and hugs ((((((((((:o ))))))))))) to those who need themMary
I'm creative -you can't expect me to be neat too !

I was wondering exactly the same thing.
And I also have jeans which have worn through in embarassing places.
Me tooThe worst one was the pair I caught on some metal shelves in Boots at Paddington Station which tore from my waistband right the way round. I could have died with embarrassement. I had to get the train home with my coat tied round my waist. One day I'll look back on that and laugh. *shudders with embarassment*

Afternoon everyone (well it was morning when I started but for some reason internet connection dropped)
I started to read the post earlier, then decided I should do some job hunting, found one and have started the application form but am stuck so have come back here to find my sanity.:D
I just hate the bit at the end of app forms where you have to ‘big’ yourself up to show you fit the spec and criteria.:o
Did loads of HW over the weekend so just need to mop and hoover today. We rent and have an inspection today, I know it’s just as much for our benefit but I hate it. I spend all day running round checking there’s no marks on the walls or dust anywhere and the man comes in – checks the fans in the kitchen and bathroom and asks if boiler is ok, then he’s gone.
Haribo – we have had a little bird doing that, not clued up on wildlife so unsure if it’s a chaffinch. The other morning I thought it was coming through the window and OH had to hold the curtain over it, I legged it out of the room as I have a phobia about flappy things
2 hrs later ………….
Finally got connection back, don’t know what it was, Sky were not helpful, said it was problem my end. After trying everything possible on the pc I just turned the router off and back on and it worked again.
Have done a bit more of the application form while I was waiting for it to come back and also mopped the kitchen floor.
Am now going back to the application form.

I'm desperate for a shopping trip - perhaps I should give nels and panda a call Rzl!!!!
Splodge12 - yes, I have days like that. Hence the loss of hardly any weight since I started thinking I should lose someI am hoping the miracle of s0d's law may now come into play... i.e. I have spent quite a large amount of money recently on ensuring I have an adequate summer wardrobe in the correct size (14-16 depending on the garment) so I'm wondering whether now will be when I get my bum in gear and get down to a size 12, hence wasting all my lovely new clothes :rotfl:

Hi Bargin Rz
Yes I been there and done that with clothes. There is a couple of things maybe if you got down to size 12-14 some of the clothes might still fit the other thing is do you know anyone who could perhaps alter them if you droped a dress size. Why is it so hard not to be happy with the size we are.
I do really silly things like try and loose weight before I go on holiday so that I can eat and drink what I like and not put on toooo much weight. Having said that I usually put on weight on holiday when my usual piece of toast with a cup of tea is replaced by a big cooked breakfast plus fruit and I am still ready for more when lunch comes!
A friend of mine had a clothes party where everyone took along clothes they no longer wanted and swaped them with somebody elses clothes that they no longer wanted. Good luck with what ever you decide0
