What info do they ask for? I'm at work, and plucking up the courage to do this, but I suspect they may want the Viewing Card number?Everybody dies, but not everyone truly lives0

Islandman, this offer is regarding sky+ (recording facility) you will need to be subscribed to sky already. i.e. some kind of package for them to offer. If you are with them, ring them adn say you want to cancel the subscription, you might then get sky+ offered FOC,

I'm at work too, call the number on page one and ask for the cancellations department
I just told the girl that my shift had changed at work and I wasnt getting the benefit of sky so would like to cancel. She asked me if money was a factor and I said no as I dont think the £19 a month I pay is a big outlay. She then asked me if I would want a facility to be able to record and she could get me on a special deal. I told her I can afford it on a monthly basis but a big initial payment would count me out so no thanks. I was then offered it for free!
Give it a go, I have tried loads of times before and never got it and it took no more than 5 minutes today!

Does anyone know if they'll speak to someone who isn't the account holder. Our Sky is in my husbands name but he won't ring as he 'can't be bothered with the hassle and arguing' in his words. I've told him it's worked for other people but he won't have it.
Very frustrating as our box is old and plays up all the time.
Or failing that, if we cancelled in my hubby's name would they let me set up as a new customer taking advantage of quidco, new customer deals etc?
Team work....mind you my partner came into the lounge and said to me "be careful what you wish for....." Flippin Man!! I did get a bit scared though as the man that came on the phone said "yes I can arrange your cancelation for you!!!!!!"
I had to switch the conversation quickly back to incentives for referring customers....WE DIDN'T RECEIVE ANYTHING FOR IT...I told him!!! (which is true) It was close....but you go there peeps!!!
Good luck....but know the past word to your account too0
