well done everyone - i did this a while back - skyplus changed my life ! lol

just to say - i think a lot of ppl are likely to be cancelling sky at the moment due to football season ending ( i know 2 peope who do this every summer!) so they will hopefully be pretty desperate to keep people!

I had a similar experience to this on Saturday - they agreed to install Sky+ for free and they also offered £30 credit on the account "for staying loyal to Sky".

Can I get this deal if I want sky as a new customer and if so how please? Also I just want the most basic of packages because we do not watch much tv but I can't even get the news as we have no freeview where I live and are in a valley. Thanks all of you .

I've pressed the thank you button....after 20 minutes I've upgraded my £17 package to a £27 package for one month which they're giving me a credit for, so more channels for no more cost, and I've got an engineer installing Sky+ Friday..all for free...if anyone is hesitating over this...my advice...don't...and stick to your guns :D
