I can't believe how many insensitive bosses there are round, and how many don't seem to believe that employment law applies to them. Definitely take advice Doddsy and see your doc as well.

Finally managed to see DS for londer than 2 minutes tonight, enticed him with the thought of roast potatoes and lamb.

Folded all the washing and sorted the socks and DH is ironing his shirts now.:D

Hope everyone who's having problems sleeping has a better night tonight.

Evening All

Another late post from me - I dont know where all the time goes.

Caught up with paperwork today so only will need to spend a little time in the office tom then plan to do all the ironing in front of telly.

Day seems to end at 4 o clock when DD comes home from senior school - as shes only been there 3 days I am helping her sort her homework and her bag for the next day so there's no stress in the morning - I want her to get in a good routine.

House is still a tip but housework can wait till I catch up with other things. Desperately want to do some baking but that will have to wait as well.

(((Doddsy))) if finances allow it could you downgrade your position. I had to do this once and was happy being p.t in a lower grade.

Snowy - hope your job hunting goes well.

Off to bed now to watch a bit of telly and then nod off - am finding it hard getting up at 6.30

Shez No, Steve Irwin's family declined the offer of a state funeral. His having a private one. I think they are organising a public memorial service of some kind.
I thought you were trying to get to 2000 posts in a hurry.

Doddsy I would look for something more part time or see someone that can tell you what you can do.

Evening all, and morning Aussielass!!

Well, I got absolutely sod all done from my To-Do list today!!! Decided that instead I'd go into town and finish off my Xmas shopping instead!! I only have a few more things to get now and then I can relax and start planning what to buy in the sales :rotfl:

My friend is now back from America so we had a long chat on the phone and have arranged to spend all day together tomorrow - I have really missed her, even though we've known each other less than a year, and she's been gone 3 months of that!!!!

Oooohhh next door have just brought a package round and its my Amazon order - 2 uni books (Mrs Dalloway and Katherine Mansfields Short Stories) and Rose Prince's Savvy Shopper - I was inspired by moggins as I loved her English Kitchen book so much!!

hugs to Doddsy. Can only repeat advice of others and say go and see the CAB

Plan for tomorrow:

- Get up early and take OH to work so that I can have the car for the day
- Clean flat before friend comes round as she hasn't seen it yet and I want it to look perfect!
- Watch Anthea if I have time (was at work tonight but set my Freeview box to record it)
- Catch up with my friend, and probably end up in a bar getting stupidly drunk!!

Hope everyone has a happy Friday (and Saturday and Sunday as I have to work all weekend, and fit in my date with Robbie Williams in between shifts )
