Morning all, hope you are well?

    Sending hugs to ((((MimiF))))

Today started with me banking £3 in my mortgage pig.

I am currently drying DS's nappies. I have folded the ironing and put the DW on. Then I have to make up DS's bottles.

Off swimming at 11am, with my baby and then off to a friend's for lunch (lucky me!)

Am worrying about what to do with all the extra veg I accidentally ordered from my Organic Veg Box supplier - I expect I'll be asking for ideas this evening you lot! I wouldn't normally worry but we are going away on Friday for 4 days so it will go off if I don't prepare some meals for the freezer.

About to have some homemade damson jam on a toasted bagel and I think I'll load the breadmaker up with ingredients so we have a loaf ready at teatime.

And I think I'll just whip the Dyson round the front room as the dogs paws have made it look scruffy.

    Have a good day all.

(((Hugs MimiF))) and happy birthday LtoS!

Up late this morning - day off but 10yo dd sick so is tucked up on sofa for a Doctor Who Fest - deepjoy! Had lots of cleaning planned for today but another dd phoned late last night to say she had forgotten that she has a dentist appointment and could i look after her 2yo. She can't drop him here as she is having lots of teeth out for a brace and needs someone to pick her up afterwards. I am not keen on dentists and she will be there for an hour :(
I'm going to feed our children non-organic food and with the money saved take them to the zoo - half man half biscuit 2008

    Good morning

Happy Birthday Learning to Save  Have a great meal - I love Chiquitos but hubby doesn't so don't get there much.

MimiF - My thoughts are with you. Take care.

I am off work again due to foot problem. Tablets doc gave me made me soooo drowsy and clumsy. Last night hubby had boiled kettle and then I went to move it back to its normal spot and although I knew it had just been boiled grabbed it on the hot bit! Did the same with a baking tray that had just came out of the oven. Its like my brain is engaging about 5 secs after I do something......dunno whats new there then :rotfl:

No plans for today. Tablets will probably knock me out. Might do some washing and have a tidy up.

    Bye for now :D

Big hug and hope your Dad gets better.

    Happy Birthday learning to save.

Enjoy your books -I have the tightwad gazette and more with less too.

Dishwasher is on and pea and ham soup is in the slow cooker for later.

May make egg fried rice with onions, peppers and mushroom for those who turn their nose up at the soup.

If I can summon up the energy may bake a loaf later as well.

Hugs to MimiF. Hope your dad is feeling better.

Keep it up, Troo! I look forward to hearing about their reactions to your strike! :T

Feeling poorly again this morning and have got to go into town for an interview about my benefits. I hate doing this and it really stresses and upsets me (which is the reason Im on benefits in the first place!). I was going to go on my own but just can't so hubby is coming out of work to come with me. All I want to do is go back to bed. :( Never mind. I should be feeling a bit better in a few days.

Wanted to try some new recipes this week, such as farmhouse loaf, pasta with tuna and sweetcorn and a recipe I found for moccachino squares but it will have to wait until Im feeling better now.

    Have a good day, everyone!

    Morning all

Thank you to everyone who welcomed me back yesterday, it's lovely to be here again!

Happy birthday LtS, hope you have a wonderful day.

((((MimiF)))), you and your father are in my thoughts. I hope he gets better.

I'm at work today (no internet access in the shared house I'm staying in yet). Lots to do, then tonight home to do some washing, cooking tea, making tomorrow's lunch (need to get back on the OS wagon), pack for my w/e in the South West and then sleep! Have a bit of a cold so need to take it easy.

    Have good days all
