Feels like Ive been on a sleepathon!:rotfl: - must have needed it.

I have left the washing out on the line from yesterday that got soaked, so it should dry out today:rotfl: then i can add it to my iron pile whoopee!!

penpen - Yes what a good looking bird!!!! and i mean Ecochick not you:p !!
I woke up about 12 and told DH about it - so I shall have to show him this evening!! Dont hens bite you? and do you have to keep them penned up cos of the poop?? I like the idea of having a chook but not the pooper scooping!! plus the neighbours would think ive gone mad having one in my little garden in the middle of london!!:rotfl:

off for a coffee and read up on whats been happening!

  • morning.

I feel blue. Must be the change over of the anti d's.

waiting for the carpet fitters to come. House looks like a bomb site as have had to empty the 2 bedrooms...again...

Cleaned the kitchen, tidied the living room, dusted the tv, emptied the DW. Must put a wash load on.

Am going over my sisters tomorrow to see my gorgeous 2 1/2 week old niece. So will make chocolate muffins later to take. Also need to make more flap jacks. Without nuts. Discovered dd hates them!

(((hugs))) to all that need them

    love Lisa xxx
  • Morning everyone. Had a good morning so far. Dropped DS at his nursery, then dropped DD at school, then went to gym and had lovely gym, swim and steam session. All showered and home to surf before going to get DD, lunch, collect DS and then an afternoon of kiddie time plus stardrop cleaning the bathroom before attempting to make pesto for the first time. I've always used a tub before, but decided enough was enough and it's time I got around to making it myself.
Need to stick BM on too so we have yummy bread with pest pasta tonight.
WM is on and sun is shining. DW unloaded and put away.

Hope everyone has a good day.

Is that what you threaten to turn your kids into when they don't behave? :D:D

Last time I made pesto my dd had an allergic reaction to it  Haven't had it since( 5 years ago that was). I miss pesto:(

Have done very little this morning except drink coffee and eat mini croissants :o Started hoovering the stairs but only got half way before the hose wouldn't stretch any farther. I have a Henry and hate lugging him upstairs. I've just read that half an hour hoovering uses up 100 cals. Who hoovers for half an hour ? Did some dusting with the old microfibres, wiped the kitchen floor and hung a load of laundry ,oh, did some ironing too, so I've actually done quite a bit after all.

Must get some muffins made and some chicken liver pate before the liver is out of date

Aw, thanks Shez. Sorry I've been away. Things all went a bit pete tong and I had to leave my job (due to bullying at work) and lost my house which all affected my health. Have escaped to London and am now starting to feel a bit stronger! Hope you have been well?

Missed everyone, as people were so supportive. Glad to be back 'chatting over the fence' :)

Morning everyone (well it was when i started posting just:o )

Mushy peas that sounds like a major life change your going through - hope you are ok

TM - stop doing all those WATs (work avoidance techniques - like cleaning the kitchen:D ) and get on with that to do list - time is ticking away:D

Had a frustrating morning fighting with a washing line! my last one had snapped (not bad after 15 years I guess) so i bought a cheapy one from wilkos (2.99) which took me ages to put up then snapped with the first pair of jeans  (not very mse for that then) so yesterday i bought one for 15quid from b and q so its now 18 quid for a washing line:eek: I want at least 20 years out of this one!! Its really scary putting a washing line up in my garden cos my neighbour has 2 police dogs which are kept outside just where I am fixing up the line. One of them kept "attacking" the fence in a very viscious way so it was all a bit hairy!

Anyway line is now up (fingers crossed) and my bedding is on it so hopefully it will be gorgeous smelling linen tonight:j

Off to london tomorrow with work. Have to fly into city airport as Im working at Canary Wharf and I hate landing there cos it feels like a Blackpool roller coaster when you land. Looking forward to it though cos the client has booked me into a lovely hotel (2 arms and one leg:rotfl: ) and my brother is coming over for dinner and i cant wait to see him:j .

anyway off for a bite to eat and hopefully when i get back I will still have a washing line:rotfl:

    Hugs to all

Phew what a morning, Hi Y'all BTW!

It's school photos today so I've had to give the younger two a bit more attention than usual so they don't get snapped looking like the Bash Street Kids. I refused to buy last years because although they went to school looking immaculate the photos I got back resembled a charity plea for eastern bloc street urchins:eek: Hopefully, my expert primping will garner better results this year! I hope it is head a shoulder shot only because although we are only in week 3 (is it?) of the new term my 6yr odl has taken the knees out of all his trousers while doing sliding footbal tackles on tarmac, probably while shouting "ENGUUURLUUUND" at the top of his voice. LOL
I got hauled over the Headmasters carpet the other day because he had given someone a dead leg! (my son not the headmaster)!!!!
    Done:
    House vacced and dusted
    DW x3
    Washing x2 on the airers
    Ironing (yesterdays)
    Paid2clicks
    Dinner chilling in the fridge

    To Do:
Yet more gardening (will it never end)
    Online banking
Visit library on way back from school
Pick my Mother up from work (her car's broken down)

    Dinner:
Prawn and Pasta salad with HM crusty herb bread
    HM Cherry crumble with cream

Have a good day - I will give the daily a proper read through later
