    Hi all,
Churchmouse - you know I don't mean it hun 36_3_12.gif.
Catowen - I think it must be part of their training this year (clarks) I had the same when I took the boys a week ago - luckily I tested where the boys toes were for myself. Ended up coming home without any - and found some to fit in shoefair for once. Really thrilled as kitted two boys out for less than half the price of one in clarks!
Aww, moggins (((hugs))) My lot are missing you already - especially the youngest, he was asking after you tonight. I'm sure we could work out something to make my nasty neighbours move out so you could move next door to me - and I promise you can paint my fence any colour you want on your side :D
Shez - yep, smiley central is free, I wouldn't use it if it wasn't, lol!!!
I've stoned, quatered and frozen 3lb of plums, the rest can be done tomorrow. I'm going to have a go of making chutney with them, and some crumbles with the odd weights that are left (this OS' ing is playing havoc with my weight!)
I've managed to keep the kitchen quite tidy this afternoon despite everyones best attempts to mess it up, lol. Just going to put the ingreds in the BM for a loaf, and then watch bad girls (recorded episode). Only problem with being a busy bee all day is I'm more likely to be unable to sleep. I know that's a bit backwards, but then that's me through and through isn't it lol.
Anyway, hope you all have a good evening/night, and speak to you tomorrow,
    Kaz
PS Moggins - I forgot to say, just in case those neighbours don't quieten, did I mention that DS1 has his 'marksman' badges? ;)
    January '06 Grocery Challenge (4th - 31st) £320.
    Week 1 - £73.99 Week 2 £5.10 (so far :p )
Someone burst my bubble and I lost the plot so no idea what I spent now... :(I will try to work it out.
    Other Jan :- Petrol £20.41, Clothes £8.50, House £3.

I'll pay his train fare :D

Sounds like my rant may have had some effect, they've turned the noise down a bit, sorry folks. I don't normally have a problem with any nationality (my best friend is asian) but it seems that these russians who've moved in really don't give a monkeys about anyone, we have 3 more families living behind us too, so far they have driven us out of our back garden because of constant loud music, they chuck car parts over our rear gate (have dented DD1's car in the process and deliberately driven a car straight at me on the pavement.

I've always tried to see the good and bad in all races and religions but I haven't seen one good thing from this lot :(

    Hello All,

Off to bed in a mo as joined DH on his night out with Red Watch last night, it was a complete spur of the moment decision, had to find a babysitter at the last minute etc. Last time I did anything that spontaneous was about 8 years ago before DS was born!! We had good fun anyway and I wasn't feeling too rough this morning when I had to pick DD up from my sisters at 8.30 as she was going to see The Fimbles with my brother and his family. She had a lovely time and was spoilt rotten.;)

Had a very un-OS dinner of M&S pizza this evening, courtesy of MIL, was a lovely evening, my sister joined us too and my nephew is sleeping over.

Braved Clarks for school shoes today, was living hell....spent exactly the same as you Catowen!!

Hardup Hester, I live in Berkshire too, so know how you feel. Have you considered a mobile home at all? I don't know a lot about them but a colleague has just bought one and there are some lovely parks in the area. Alternatively, my dad downsized to a narrow boat!!!! Sorry I can't be more help but am thinking of you.

Dobie, (((((((hugs))))))) to you, my dad was/is an alcoholic, it is such an incredibly painful disease for all around the said alcoholic. I think you're wonderful to just be there for him, thats all you can do really.

Smashing Blouse - wishing you better!!

Am completely skint for the rest of the month (paid 15th) since DH told me he can't pay me the £100 he owes me, am a bit p***ed off that he spent that money on Kylie tickets and forgot what he owes me but also felt quite excited about the challenge for the next two weeks and knew I could do it with the help of the OS board!!

Hugs to all others who need them!!

    Sweet Dreams all.

    Evening,

Kaz - unfortunatly clarks was my last option, we spent last weekend, and a good hour today trapsing around shops looking for shoes, but if the poor lad in clarks has got it wrong with DS, i will be going back in, and i would pity the poor person i come across!!!!

Have just done the test the nation thing on BBC1, and got 51 out of 70, and it says i have an iq of 111!!!! Dont know if thats good or bad as there were loads above me, but i had a go.
Think im off to bed now, had a late night last night, and wont be able to have my normal sunday lie in tomorrow, as im hoping the little ones dad will be around with my new (well, his old, my new) computer!!!! Im so excited!!!
Anyway, hope everyone has a lovely evening, and manages to get some sleep,
    Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

    Evening all!

Smashing Blouse, I hope you are feeling better and that the pain goes away v.soon.

Moggins, your neighbours sound like some S.African neighbours I had when in London - they just took over the rear gardens with their non-stop barbeques, parties, loud music, friends coming and going etc etc etc, even without actually physically tresspassing into anyone else's property the music, voices and smell of stinky barbecue every damn evening and all afternoon Saturday and Sunday still have an effect on neighbourly relations! Keep complaining about them - what they are doing might be acceptable where they are from, but they aren't there now and you are entitled to peace and quiet in your own home.

Shez - it seems that Sainbury's do want your custom after all. What kind of OS gal says no to half price for goodness sake!!!

My day has consisted of sitting on my jacksi looking at the internet...the house is a minging tip/pigsty!! I did take a break and went to Sainsbury's for a job application form. There are 12 questions on it about customer service. I am not a complete wally, but my head is in a bit of a tizz and I can't work out the correct answers, mostly because it's a multiple choice and the options are a load of old tripe. Oh dear! I will look at it again tomorrow. I had a good think about going back to work on Monday...and I don't think I'll be hanging around too long. Just long enough to say "I quit". Yes, I know this is fool hardy, but just thinking of the place makes my eyes leak. I'll trot off to my GP to request a sick note so that I don't have to actually attend during my notice. It's either that or sit at my desk bawling my eyes out for a month. It's coming up to Christmas and shops are already recruiting so I am sure I'll get something to start before October. Wish me luck, it's scary but the thought of going back to that hole is even scarier.

ChurchMouse, thank you for your advice, I am currently benefiting greatly from your wisdom and years of experience:D;)!

    Hi ajr,

Sorry it's a bit late, but welcome :hello:

If it's any consolation, I left my lot in bed this morning to go to work....I'm lucky that I have a job that allows me to nip home in between visits, so my family hardly know I've gone out.

    Hi Snowy,

From what I've read in your posts, anything would be better than going back there....wishing you lots and lots of luck in finding a less stressful job, and hopefully one that you'll enjoy.
