Only 4 pages long as I start, nobody got anything to say?:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Hello everyone!!! Hope you've managed at least some success today!! Me, I've got the midas touch in reverse!!:o Only silly things, but everything I've attempted or touched has gone wrong today!!:o :o Oh well, the world will keep turning and tomorrow is another day:rolleyes:

Can't remember exactly who said what, but I do remember Dobie's having a tough time so ((((hugs)))) to you. Your son is lucky to have your support, but there's nothing you can do until he decides he wants help. So hard for you all, I don't expect he enjoys being like it, but he's obviously not at rockbottom yet.

In a totally different way, I'm so sorry for your problems Hardup Hester! ((((hugs)))) I just don't have any worthwhile suggestions. The constant struggle is just so wearing, I admire all you do to hold it together, and hope so much that something good happens for you.

Kazonline had to laugh about wide feet and high insteps. That just about goes for my 4 boys ( and me!! oh how feminine!!) Always remember taking DS4 for his first pair of shoes aged 11 months, he'd been walking for over 2 months and despesrately wanted to walk outdoors. Well Dh is carrying him into Clarks and the manager comes towards us. We want shoes for this little one we say. He takes one look at DS4's feet and without so much as a token measure says I've got nothing to fit them!!! Look at the width and that instep!!! My poor babe! I felt embarrassed for him:rotfl: We finished up having to travel miles to a huge Clarks shop who could offer us a choice of....... ooh 1 pair!!!! Still they fitted, so we took them.

Shez now you know I could tempt my DH wearing a sack!!!:rotfl: It's not really a challenge with him is it??:D ( It's his eyesight, going fast poor love, he even fancies me with no clothes, not the prettiest sight on the planet:rotfl: :rotfl: )

AussieLass do I need to counsel you about getting proffessional advice, or you could easily squander those winnings and find them gone before you know it?:rotfl: :rotfl: I hope you'll not let it change you, riches can easily spoil a girl you know!!:D Do agree about short names rule (although mine is one character longer than yours, but don't tell anyone!!) I'm happy to be known simply as CM, I don't stand on ceremony.

I'm going to o get some dinner now, hopefully be back later! Byee

Edited to say Happy Birthday kyle's DS2. 7 years old, that's really growing up!!

Strange day today. Been glad to sit and do absolutely nothing today. All hell breaks loose next week so feel no guilt at all in doing absolultely nothing today. Different story tomorrow of course.

Well, going to enjoy the rest of my wine tonight and have fun teaching DS and DD how to dance 80's style!!!!! (That should be good for a laugh!)

((Hester)) still thinking of you and hoping things get better soon.
CM - you made me chuckle with that story about your DS, bless.
I've finally been a busy bee today. Kitchen tidied and floor washed, bootsale stuff now in attic, ironing done and tea made and eaten (lush barbecue pork)
There's still a lot to be done, but at least progress is now visible.
Tonight I think I need to menu plan for the week ahead and then do my shop tomorrow as it's the start of term for me Monday (boys Tuesday). Which reminds me, I've a mountain of new uniform to wash, label and iron! (Insert ironing smiley here - where on earth has my smiley central dissapeared to again!!!)
    Hugs to all,
    Kaz

Yes sorry forgot to welcome the newcomers, look forward to getting to know you!!

Smashing Blouse can't believe I forgot to wish you better, you're really having a tough horrible time of it!!! ((((((hug))))) hope you're feeling better!!

Snowy, I'm glad that you've had a reasonable sleep, it is nature's way of healing you know, nothing disgraceful at all!!:D :D I hope you are feeling more positive today. It will probably help that you seem to be coming to the decision you have to change your job. Now whether this happens sooner or later, the fact that mentally you're preparing to leave, will I'm sure, make you better able to cope. You can smile inwardly in the knowledge that you know something they don't!!! I have a friend who's in a rather rotten position with her boss. She too has made the decision to leave at a time that suits her. She can cope with it much better now that she knows there is a finite time left at the hellhole. Of course her boss has no idea she has already selected the date to hand in her notice:rotfl: :rotfl: Anyway you take care, Auntie Churchmouse says some of the special bottled medicine could be in order, and she'll have a glass to start you on your way!!!:D

Kaz my goodness you've got so much done!!! What are you on, and can I have some:rotfl: At the least I need a kick up the rear!! (I can hear the stampede of volunteers from here, just form an orderly queue!!:D )

Hey Churchmouse - guess what I just found again 10_1_102v.gif Tee hee.

I think I'm gonna have to join the second Flylady challenge while I wait for for the third to start up or I'll be boring you all to sleep on the daily thread :D

I finally watched my recording of Anthea today (while ironing - aren't I such a goodie two shoes 17_1_12v.gif NOT!!) I was horrified when I saw her rip up that wedding dress and insist it go in the bin. Surely it'd be more appropriate to send it to a charity shop at the least. Never mind all that 'bad luck' rubbish she spouted - surely it would've been better going to a charity shop? Perhaps that way it could've generated some 'good luck' with some good old karma!
Crazy woman has obviously never wanted for anything - if she had she wouldn't be so quick to throw everything in the landfill. Evil woman.

Rant over - now preparing to be mobbed by Anthea fans, lol :D

Kaz, how did I know you'd be front of the queue:rotfl: :T Ouch!!

So agree about Anthea, thought it was just me!! I couldn't believe the utter waste. That dress could have raised a worthwhile amount for a charity somewhere, now as you say it's only fit for landfill!! Do sometimes wonder where these people keep their brains, no on second thoughts I know, they sit on them!!:rotfl:

    Good evening everyone,

Busy old day for us today, ive done 3 mystery shops, a huge shop at Tescos and we finally got new school shoes for DS and DD, ended up in Clarks, as nowhere else had anything, so spent £62:eek: i dont know how they can justify it really, and DS is still in size 3 (same as this time last year), told the chap but he still thinks these new shoes will last 5 months!!!! Guess who will be going back in if they dont last that long!!!!!

    Aaaaarrrrrrgggghhhhhhhhhhh!!"!!!!

If they insist on letting all these refugees into the country why can't they make them take lessons on how to behave!!!! As our area is the cheapest in the county we are overrun with buy to let properties and we're currently surrounded by russians etc!! Every Saturday night it's the same, loud parties with doors open, drunk men and drugs. I couldn't even hear the X Factor properly so I have just tore a strip off them and threatened to call the police. One guy just shrugged his shoulders and said it's Saturday night! So ffffing what? My children still have to sleep regardless what day of the bleeding week it is. I've finally had enough and am getting onto environmental services on Monday cos I know even if I call the police they will say there is nothing they can do and to call environmental services :(
