Morning All:hello:
BM on & am enjoying a quiet half hour before hubby & Spud descend:rolleyes:, need to unload the WM (left it on overnight;)).
Yesterday was a disasterous day, my PMT turned into MT:rolleyes: & hubby is off work so had him under my feet & spent the day swinging between tears & tantrums, resulting in a unplanned take away for dinner:eek::eek::eek::o At least I did manage to get some sleep, primarily because I shut both bedroom doors & didn't turn the monitor on so Spud's habitual 2am "I'm ready to play" cry didn't wake me:D Must admit I felt really really guilty but I think it may have tipped me over the edge if I had had to deal with that on top of everything else!:o
Queenie, what dish has your D11YO chosen for the food? I need inspriation, I'm running on empty in the food planning/ideas department these days!:p Well done on taking the Spanish classes, I like Spanish, I think 'cos it's quite easy to master with the same basic grammer as English, none of the French male/femal nonsense:wall:
Off to visit my elderly great aunt in her new old folks home this morning then spending this afternoon spudding hopefully. Leftover defrosted sausage casserole for dinner tonight so nice & easy:T
Have a good day everyone:wave::grouphug:Post Natal Depression is the worst part of giving birth:p
In England we have Mothering Sunday & Father Christmas, Mothers day & Santa Clause are American merchandising tricks:mad: Demonstrate pride in your heirtage by getting it right please people!0 -
have a great day out queenie, you deserve it, hope you are not too tired by it all xx0

Good morning everyone,
Have an extra little one here today, and i have to take both of them to nursery. Unfortunatly, one of the nurserys is in the middle of the sticks, about 5 miles away, but starts half an hour after the others nursery which is near the school my 2 goto!!! So, a lot of running around today, but its only a one off, and his parents do appriciate it!!!
Had planned to mend my fence today as well, before my OFSTED visit, but not sure if i will have time between all the nursery drop offs/pick ups!!!! (maybe i need Kaz here to help!!!)
Apart from that, its just some general cleaning i need to do, and also get DSs birthday presents wrapped up, i cant believe hes going to be 10 tomorrow, it seems like yesterday still.
Right, need to get them out of their beds (well DD is in mine!!)
Have a lovely day
Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx0 -
Good Morning everyone!
Just finished packing lunches for the kids. Washing machine set before I get ready for work. Another stressful day in store at work, Tuesdays usually are - probably cause its my only full day there!! Home for a quick lunch before taking hubby to work, I hate it when hes on afters.
Back to school for 1.00pm - roll on 3.30! Then off to pick kids up from school, son going to gym with a friend straight after school.
Dinner - pasta and something.
Big hugs to everyone today
Have a good one everybody!!0 -
Thanks for the PM offer Queenie, but why not PM the recipe and the source to one of the OS board guides, Gingham Ribbon or Pink-winged so that they can seek clarification from the team on this?
I think this is exactly this sort of area where the BGs and the team will help us if we ask them.
Edinburghlass has given us her interpretation but the boards on which she is a BG are not known for their recipes, which is why I queried earlier.
Clarification would be really useful, even if it is to say that there is no cut and dried answer on this matter, which may be the case.
Perhaps one of the BGs could add it to the copyright notice so we all know where to find it? I get so confused with this stuffMy first reply was witty and intellectual but I lost it so you got this one instead

Morning everyone,
Work day for me so precious little OS sadly. The BM was on overnight and a wash load is ready to go while I'm out.
I switched on the computer last night to do my Tesco "heavy stuff" order for delivery and guess what, I forgot to do it...Has anyone seen my memory? And this is with the 3 "memory boosting" brazil nuts a day. They contain selenium which is meant to be good for the brain and are much cheaper than the tablets in the health food shop, I don't want to think what I would be like without them!
So, I'm off to do that shop quickly now before work. Have a lovely day everyone. :AMy first reply was witty and intellectual but I lost it so you got this one instead

morning everyone. I don`t post on here hardly at all but yesterday`s thread inspired me
To the non-sleepers: have you had a really good look at your caffeine intake after lunch ie tea including green tea, coffee, cola, chocolate. I suggest cutting the whole lot out. If you have to have a (fairly) coffee-like drink then try bambu
Breakfast was porridge and prunes, lunch will be whatever I find as its only me today but probably a hm wholemeal roll and emmental cheese slice with sliced dark red tomato (emmental is a better cheese that cheddar for those of us overweightlings). Dinner or I mean tea (northerner) will be scotch broth without meat plus fish lasagne. Strawberries, apple and clemantine at some time today
I am wok hunting today. I want a stainless steel one with a round bottom and without a long handle. I`ll start with tkmaxx. Can`t beat a wok for getting the veg done fast0 -
Morning all
Queenie you know you will enjoy it when you get there, just like Kaz who was dreading starting her course and was almost thinking of not going 2 days before it started! Now we never see her
My OS plans for today were to dig up the remaining beetroot and dig a patch of the garden over, make a cake and turn the remaining tomatoes into chutney but as DD woke me up at 3.45 I may just laze on the sofa and catch up with my CSI's.
Plus I have DS home sick from school, he's complaining that he feels sick and has a problem with his hand. I'm going to look into this as I feel something is going badly wrong at school and he just doesn't want to go.Organised people are just too lazy to look for things
