  • Good morning all

I posted in the Daily thread discussion thread (if that makes any sense!) and it has spurred me into posting on here. So, I'm just introducing myself to all you lovely people.

I have decided to really get stuck in properly OS wise and my plan today is a cupboard/fridge inventory and some serious meal planning.

    Have a good day everyone.

Rchddp, good to see you back, thought bean must have put in an early appearance! How long now? And, been wondering for a long time, what's the origin of your user name?

Bean is still in residence fortunately. However, unfortunately she's decided that the best position to be in is transverse. She's been there for a few weeks now and doesn't seem to want to move. For obvious reasons I'm a little concerned. My partner just tuts and says that she's like her mother....awkward..... and that she's a typical female.

I know that there is still time for her to move, but I can't help but worry that I might have to go under the knife. Not something I want. I'm now at 30 weeks and so far things have been going well. No problems at all...apart of the obvious.

As for the username....its just a random combination of letters I came up with many years ago. I use it on many sites as its now well stuck in my brain. I would think about changing it on MSE....but suspect that would just confuse both myself and people who know me here.
Did you find one? What were you looking for a boy or a girl? :rotfl:

I suppose you could say that I did find one. Spent some time with the family which included a morning running around after my loony nephew (he's 2 1/2 years old). I'm sure my sister has put him on 'go daft' pills.
Baby Year 1: Oh dear...on the move

Lily contracted Strep B Meningitis Dec 2006  Now seemingly a normal little monster.
Love to my two angels that I will never forget.

    Morning everyone
I am at work all day today but I plan to pop into town on my lunch hour and see if home bargains have any, well...bargains!

I brought an aubergine the weekend to use for a lamb dish but didn't make it, so I think I might make this tonight http://www.bbc.co.uk/food/recipes/database/pastawithauberginean_83776.shtml which looks quite health.
    Breakfast: nothing
Lunch: possibly a subway sandwich :( or a bowl of branflakes!

I leave work on friday so have to make lots of muffins to take into the team meeting as I have become well known for these, so will be making those tomorrow night. Have a good day everyone :)

Just a very quick post from me today to say THANK YOU TO EVERYONE who posted kind words and offered advice about what I should do re. going on holiday or going to OH nana's funeral. In the end the decision was taken out of my hands as I got phone calls from MIL, FIL and GFIL (grandfather-in-law :rotfl:) telling me (in a nice jokey way) that I was to go on my holiday and that if I didn't I wouldn't be welcome at the funeral anyway!! But I am sending flowers, and OH and I have sent a note to go in the coffin with her, so I will still be part of it even though I won't actually be there IYSWIM.

So I have had to do a lot of last-minute packing and buying (although got a lot of it cheap as summer sales are still going!) Was planning to spend today "mooching" and not doing a lot but work have phoned and want me to go in this evening so I'm now panicing as to whether I will get the huge amounts of stuff done before I have to go... even though I wasn't planning on doing anything... Does anybody else do this when their plans for the day get changed unexpectedly??

WM ready to be unloaded, probably got another load but I'm too scared to look :rotfl:, house is fairly tidy so will just swish round and give the bathroom a bit of a clean. Also need to sort out tea - was going to have Gingham's 3 bean chilli but as I won't be home from work until about 10 I need to sort something easy for OH to have whilst I'm at work and something quick for when I get in.

 Robbie..... Don't even mention him to me as I am still drooling from last weekend!!!

Have a good day everyone - gosh hasn't this turned into a ramble!
