Morning peeps
I have decided I am still going to post my usual waffle:p , I think it will be such a shame if people decide not to:o
I have a busy week this week, I am taking my mum out to dinner tonight as she retires tomorrow 65:eek: I was going to be really OS and make some banners but as usual it nover happened so I will have a look in the pound shop for them. Tomorrow she offically retires from work ( I work with her) so there will be a little 'do' for her and a presentation:j I feel a bit sad about it really ( bit scarey), I have only ever known her to work right from when I was a child but she will enjoy her retirement I'm sure.
Need to put the WM on a mo and hop in the shower.
Hope everyone is well, please please don't stop posting everyone x
Have a good day xx0 -

OH has just ironed DD's shirts for school and making a cup of tea. He has a few jobs to be doing around the house later-so that will keep him busy;)
Didnt manage to get the BM on yesterday, so will try again today.
Breakie: Boiled egg & soldiers
Lunch: Tuna & Cucumber sarnie
Dinner: Gammon, mash, veg and pineapple gravy.
Have a good day peeps.

Morning All,
A very early day for me, DD2 decided that 4.03am was a good time to get up for the day so I've been downstairs with her ever since. DS joined us at 5.17am! Strange children.
Beneficial though as I've done the washing up that was left last night and the WM has been on too. I finally got to take advantage of my economy 7 being as it was prior to 6am! When my WM finally gives up the ghost I'll try to get one with a timer so I can programme it to come on in the night.
I need to crack on with the filing today, its in piles that keep growing and there are things I NEED to reply to so its quite important.
I am also after advice please from any of you who have struggled to get your small children to eat OS, I've started a new thread on OS about it so any replies VERY gratefully received.
Righto, I hear small footsteps upstairs so best get some breakfast ready for DD1.
Love to all,
Al.WW Start Weight 18/04/12 = 19st 11lbsWeight today = 17st 6.5lbsLoss to date 32.5lbs!!!0 -
Morning everyone
Jobs to be done here today are
cleaning the downstairs of our home
buy and send 2 greetings cards
send a gift to USA
go through shopping receipts
and then reward myself by sending a nice long chatty email to my friend in NZ.
Have a great OS everyone...it is not of more importance than daily life, which I have an enduring wish to make as useful and beautiful as possible.

Good morning everyone,
Wasnt sure if i was going to post this morning, but decided i would, ive so enjoyed the daily thread, and would hate to not contribute in my small way!!!!
ageandjo - so glad you are still happy to post 'waffle' , i dont look at it that way, i think its lovely to be able to share problems and successes, and receive encouragement and help back!!!!
tootles - i so hope you read this and feel upto posting as well, would hate for you not too!!!!
Well, today i have 2 little ones here, so im going to brave a trip into town to finish getting DSs birthday presents. Suddenly realised on Saturday, that i hadnt bought anything for DD to give him, and didnt have a clue as to what to buy him!!!! Have now decided to get him the new Plymouth Argyle top, not money saving, but something i know he would love, as his old one had a big rip in, and although i tried to mend it, my sewing skills arnt very good. Also need to get some wrapping paper, so going to attempt Toys r Us, the little ones will love to look around there, and also i can look for some ideas for xmas.
Also need to clean the bathroom and toilet, make some bread and get the WM on!!!!
Off to make a start, hope everyone has a lovely day
Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx0 -

I'm sat here supervising DD again as she keeps forgetting to get dressed.
Plans for the day are:
Get money out of bank
Head into town to pick up reserved presents at Argos
Hoover
Swish
Put laundry on
put clean clothes away
Not necessarily in that order though.Organised people are just too lazy to look for things

Morning all
Morning SnowyOwlI imagine that freezing rice pudding would work - even if the milk separated out a bit when frozen, as you heated it up and mixed it in, it should all come back together again much in the same way that frozen milk does when it defrosts.
Good luck with the SC today Jockett! Remember that if it all looks a bit watery, turn it up to high and take the lid off so that it will reduce the amount of water. Just don't wander off and leave it like that, though, or you'll come back to charcoal!
rchddap, congratulations on the baby! I hadn't realised you were expecting. Hope everything goes perfectly for you.
Had a fun evening chatting with Jo138 and SnowyOwl yesterday - I have come to the conclusion that we're all as daft as each other.
Plans for today include taking almost the entire contents of our dining room to the dump. This may involve two trips, as there's also a defunct fridge/freezer in the garden which needs to go. ~flexes muscles~ I also need to pack the majority of my card-making stuff away into a big box, as its starting to take over the dining room table. You never know, we might actually be able to eat in there, after that! I must pack an Ebay parcel and take it to the PO (see you there, ladies! lol) and try to convince OH to run the vacuum around, even if he doesn't believe dust accumulates around the edges.
Meals today : B = weetabix, sultanas, sunflower seeds.
L = tomatoes on toast
D = h/m bacon quiche x2 & salad (extra one to divide up, then freeze for lunchbox variety!):hello: I'm very well, considering the state I'm in. :hello:Weight loss since 2 March 10 : 13lbs0 -
Morning All
Hugs to everybody who needs them and a big Thank-you for all your support over the last week or so.
Today I need to get a drs appointment to get a sick note as my foot and ankle are still not right. A friend who is a nurse looked at it yesterday and she thinks I might have damamged the tendons which are a slow job mending. As I cant drive my dad has offered to take me to the drs which means that I dont have to get on that retched bus again.
Plan for the rest of the day is more fly-ladying and rejiging of the menu planner as the first 3 days were what I call "work teas" ie they are quick to do when I get in from work. I'll save those for when I'm back at work and cook something that requires abit more prepartion. Got to go and get dd up and dressed before trying to get through to the docs
Have a good day everyoneSorting my life out one day at a time0 -
Morning all
Another manic morning in the house of stressed
WM is on, hopefully will have enough time to hang it out before I do the school/work run
Brekkie is all done, and I think I have converted DH, who decided last night to make up all his lunches for the week using the leftovers from the roast chicken - yes that's right 5 meals, plus a chicken sarnie for me and the original roast it was intended for :T
Dinner tonight will be ranchero pie.
I recently joined freecycle and am picking up 2 demijohns this evening - I can't believe how excited I am. Now just need to go pick some elderberries...........
Have a great day everyone (((((hugs)))))Squares knitted for my throw ~ 90 (yes!!! I have finally finished it :rotfl: )Squares made for my patchwork quilt ~ 80 (only the "actual" quilting to do now :rotfl:)0
