Good afternoon everyone :j
I'm sat here reading through the threads with my Wham album blaring - can't get much better than that
Brekkie was cereal, lunch was jacket pots with cheese and beans, and dinner will be roast chicken with all the trimmingsReally looking forward to the series finale of Prison Break tonight.
Although my house looks like a bombsite at the mo, if I sit and think what I have actually achieved today it makes me feel better. 2 loaves done in the BM, budgies cleaned out, 3 loads of washing done (2 dried - 1 drying), mammoth amounts of washing up, bathroom cleaned, DD scrubbed and hairwashed, school stuff all done for tomorrow.
((((((hugs)))))) to everyoneSquares knitted for my throw ~ 90 (yes!!! I have finally finished it :rotfl: )Squares made for my patchwork quilt ~ 80 (only the "actual" quilting to do now :rotfl:)0 -
Well bye bye everyone
I'm off for a week now. If the mini meet happens next weekend in Eastbourne, maybe I'll see some of you there!!

Thanks guys, I have tried to give him that kick but it hasn't worked. He came home from his bike ride at 11am, cleaned the car then said we could go out. I said where I wanted to go and he said he didn't fancy that so he said he would take me to Ludlow. We drove there, no parking spaces so instead of him trying to find one he drove us home.
I tried to talk to him on the journey but he always resortes to the same thing 'I don't know what you expect out of life, but everyone is the same, why do you want to be different'. I don't think that everyone spends so little time together and I also don't think that most girlfriends/wives/partner feel so unappreaciated and wanted as I do.
He has now gone to the pub because 'my friends are really important to me and I only get to see them once a week'. I really think that we are at breaking point. I just don't want to be with someone that doesn't want to be with me, and its clear he doesn't want to spend time with me. I'm sure he loves me in his own way, but only when he is getting his own way.
I will settle back into uni and then start looking at the legalities of a split because of us owning a house together.
Thanks for the support guys...nothing OS has got done today at all. I was going to cook greek lamb for dinner but I can't be bothered. He will come back from the pub and go to sleep anyway so what's the point0 -
(((((((((((((((((HUGS))))))))))))) Fay
:j :j Well we went for a little walk this afternoon:D and I found the gate to the complex open:j :j so guess who went in and had a nosy through the windows?????? living room is ok, a bit on the neatside but guess I can cope with that, the kitchen is ok, sink unit, cooker, space big enough for our fridge freezer and wall units too, the bedroom is quite a bit smaller than the one we have here, may have to do a bit of juggling to get everything in, but we will do it. Looks like it has a largish hallway in from the front door, could not see that far......no carpets, but the carpet in our bedroom will fit either the living room or the bedroom and possibly have enough for the hall as well. We have laminate flooring in our present sitting room with a chinese rug, would just use that in the sitting room but the floor is thermoplasitc tiles UUUUUUUUUCCCKKKKKKKKKK ok they are beige, but not my style at all.....brings back memories of the lino we used to have with the carpet square!!!!!!!!!!!
The curtains I have in my sitting room, one curtain would make curtains for all the windows, so might see how much it will cost to get them remade into a pair for the living room, the ones I altered for the back bedroom will fit the bedroom fine, will have to change my lamps, but thats not a problem really, we also will have the electrician take down the fitting in the sitting room, no way am I leaving that behind!!!!
I am going to have to greatly reduce my sewing stuff, am going to talk to my quilting friend see what she suggests re the fabric..... I have several UFO'S which would keep me busy for a while.... without having to make anything else.
I may sell my embroidery machine, I really cannot see me using it........would keep the overlocker and ordinary machine.....  a bit mad because I only bought it recently and I have a load of kit to go with it as well. thread I can sell on ebay, if I can remember what I paid for it................
Oh dear so much to think about, we will ring in the morning and arrange a full viewing, I have measured the furniture we need to take with us, although it looks like one wardrobe might have to go.........and possibly a chest of drawers.........
I hope you are all enjoying the September sunshine, I decded not to wait till tonight did the washing this afternoon and its on the line almost dry, so I can do the ironing tomorrow. Oh thats reminds me, I have a linen cupboard full of linen and at least 3 quilts........one a duck and goose down one which is too hot for us............it cost me £140:mad:  ................tried it on e bay no takers. Might try the local paper, cannot really afford to give it away............

I have been a very good girl. As I came back with so much kitchen stuff I have cleaned off my food processor which I am not going to be needing any more now and given it to my neighbour, hers was about 15 years old and not very good so she was over the moon with it.Organised people are just too lazy to look for things

evening all,
just popped in to see how you are doing!
Both kids are now college students ,all be it 6th form college so still with many school rules.
DD is a little dissapointed that they are treated so much like children though.
Yesterday I took her to costas for a posh hot choc to cheer her up. She is going to take her mp3 player in this week to drown out the constant discussions about s..x and the almost wall to wall F words...sigh.
I found a hand operated juicer in the charity shop for £3 and juiced/pulped a large amount of tomatoes which we had in bolognaise for tea. They were much nicer without the skins, more like the tinned tomatoes I buy.
Today was Asda's as usual . No amazing bargains this week.
DH has been decorating our dining room which has never been done in the 17 years we have lived here.He is doing 2 walls then moving everything and doing the other 2 as there is so much stuff in there (PC's,books etc).
Oh well I'd better get on with things,

Sorry I haven't had time to read the thread today.
NO housework done again today (by me anyhow, Justin's been good, as ever), BUT we have started on the plans to make the oak cruck cottage (gingerbread house). Learning about medieval architecture and social history too, so making good use of the time out
I've also re-written the story of Hansel & Gretel - it's NOT the poor old woman's fault those darn kids came to harrass her!
Hugs to all,

Evening all.
I'm just catching up with the thread while watching the repeat of Anthea.
Today was quite successful. I managed to escort my sister to the wedding fayre. She got a few ideas anyway, and we had free samples of cake. There were some really grumpy people running some of the stalls, so i don't think she will use any of them.
I'm now really tired, so i will be watching legally blonde 2 on telly, and then going into bed for an early night. DH will be back around midnight, so i will be asleep by then.
good news for kaz - Ds's achievements are fantastic.
joannasmum - pleased you got the car back
queenie - can i borrow your boys? It would be great to have dinner cooked for me, and have a foot massage right now;)
well, back to chilling. I love my sister to bits but she does exhaust me and i am glad to be on my own again.
Michelle, xx0
