Topher - ((hugs)) Deep, calming breaths! Hopefully, your visitor will understand when you say:
"It's so lovely to have half hour to sit and enjoy a coffee with you before I have to go to the school"
Good luck with the inspection.

Morning everyone
I did the 'no alarm' thing again today - and woke at 6:30. I think something must've woken me though as I was having a lovely dream that I was about to go horse riding and was cuddling the horse... Perhaps the dog had been nuzzling me to wake me, lol.
All this talk of horses has been making me real jealous, it's my life's ambition to own one - even if only a pony for the boys. Now I've settled on getting one by the time I have grand children
Tootles - How are you feeling about the flat this morning? It's only natural to feel torn, but I'm sure you know that already. I'm sending you lots of hugs and hope that the decision becomes clearer for you.
Aussie - glad to know all is ok with you. Fingers crossed for a dry Tuesday
Snowy - thinking a lot about you at the mo. I'm sure until the source of your stress has gone these sleep problems are going to re-occur. Please try to make an appt at your surgery to see the nicest doc there - and BEFORE your note runs out. I think you could really do with being referred to a counsellor or similar. I was referred to one through occupational health (w**K) some years ago when on long term sick. It was the BEST thing that ever happened to me - no tea and sympathy, just solid support and someone to bounce my thoughts off (but more effective than a mirror)
Oww Shez - sounds like your little darlings are just like mine. That said, they're just the same in Tesco, Asda, Staples - in fact anywhere I go! (Mind, if you take the middle one out of the equasion they're angels...)
Scottishspendaholic - how much do you charge for babysitting? Hope you don't mind my being nosey, but I've always wondered how much to pay. Luckily eldes DS now steps in for me
Ice - I hope you start to feel better today.
Queenie - what a fab family you have. It's so good to hear that they appreciate the wonderfull mum they have. I'm chuffed to bits for you.
Hi Twink - I never thought of juicing those blackberries... I bet they're real lush with ginger! I think all our brambles are bare now, but I've a good stash in the freezer for me jam. Next year there'll be no end to what I'll be doing with them
Moggins - missing you and yours, hopefully we can arrange something soon?
It's such a relief to finally have the one fence up. I'm a little bit gutted because as we were putting it up I realised that we'd been given one panel with 3"squares as requested, but the other (that I'd even cut and painted without noticing) was 4" squares. I'm not going to dwell on it, nor sort it out though as I don't need any more stress. It's up, and next year I'll replace the 4" - but in the meantime it's done and doesn't look too bad.
Last night I was still tidying the garden when it was very dusky - having to put my tom plants in front of the door to readjust their supports!
At night I'm lining them up against the house to protect them from the colder air and to give them best chance of the morning sun - but when the washing goes out they have to be moved as this is also where the rotary line is for the same reasons, lol.
DS1 stuck some whites out the other morning and didn't bother to move the plants "You didn't tell me to" was his defence. Nor do I tell him to breath in and out, but luckily he can think that much for himself! Honestly, he may be incredibly intelligent, but common sense he has none!!
Talking of which - I know I should've shared this sooner, but I had my reasons not to. I've been dying to share with you all what he had for his results in his GCSE's
3A* and 7 A's!!!!!! I was so thrilled when he showed me the paper that I simply squealed! He's not sporty or musical, or anything like that - but boy is he intelligent! He was the only one in his school to get all A's and above
Right, best go move the toms and get the shirts on the line - and then I guess I ought to do some ironing as I have more ironing that my two baskets can hold!!!
Love and hugs to all,
Kaz
dlb, rofl at the prospect of you not so much braking down, but being stopped by Mr policemanMind, I've got in the car and driven in some strange states of 'dress' too

Good morning everyone,
Really quick one from me this morning, havnt had chance to read the threads (cant believe there are over 20 posts this time on a Sunday morning!!!!) as i have to crack on with DSs party food!!!! Yesterday was a lovely day, today it is raining, not the best for a outside football coaching party!!!!! At least the food will be inside, so DD and i can stay dry!!!!
Will be back later, once the party is over, and hopefully will catch up on the thread then, but hugs to everyone til i get back!!!!

Topher wrote:Posh Paws, are you a Dachsie owner? (I am)
Hi there, Topher! No, I have to admit I have never owned a Dachsie, although I do have a fancy for a Dandie Dinmont, one of these days! At the moment, I'm committed to the longdogs - as we currently have an elderly Greyhound (Mr Jack) and a Saluki (Jonty) - who is my Avatar pic.I suppose he does look a bit like a longhaired Dachsie, if you can't see his legs!
