Big hug and I really hope that things get better. It sounds like they are eaten up with jealousy to me too!

    Happy Birthday Zed:bdaycake:

Sitting here sipping tea before making soup in the slow cooker. Raining here so really hope it clears up so I can hang washing out.

May make sweet potato cakes for tea as my DDs love them and they are packed with vitamins.

    Happy Birthday Zed42 :bdaycake:

    (((((hugs))))) Ageandjo

The weather is thoroughly miserable this morning - it was thundering and lightning last night and the rain hasn't let up since

One load in the WM which unfortunately will have to go in the TD before I leave for work - in about 20 minutes!!!

Dinner tonight will be shepherds pie - followed by HM flapjacks.

Thanks Queenie for your calzone recipe - I was going to ask for it when I got to the end of the thread, but you beat me to it :p

This is the second month when we have absolutely no spare money ('cos we spent it all at the beginning of the month  ) and I absolutely refuse to go through another one - so next month we will absolutely only spend on the essentials, then if we want something, we will use whatever money is left over at the end of the month - that's the plan anyway :D

Right off for a coffee and slap the warpaint on.

    Bye for now
Squares knitted for my throw ~ 90 (yes!!! I have finally finished it :rotfl: )
Squares made for my patchwork quilt ~ 80 (only the "actual" quilting to do now :rotfl:)

    Morning all (again!)

I have two questions for AussieLass....AussieLass, did you find your plastic sleeve? And what is a plastic sleeve anyway? I have all sorts of pictures in my mind (think vets!!).

    Morning all again,

Hugs to Taplady - will be thinking of you and hubby today
Hug also to Age&Jo - it's so miserable in your situation, I feel for you (similar, but not as bad here - new neighbours don't like our cats)
Icemaiden - it's the weather, it's not your fault! I think everyone is noticing the mugginess after the storm last night

I've not read all the posts yet - too tired, sorry

Wasn't yesterdays storm a biggun! Cats all scared out of their wits here, and I'm out in it trying to entice them in (they hid in various places out of the rain, but were shaking with fear). Got soaked of course.

Went to sleep at 3 and woke at 6.30 - ruddy pain woke me... BUT I've used the economy 7 time to do a load of washing (now spun and hung too), and bake the cake/cookies/flapjack I had prepared yesterday. Place smells delicious :)
Cats all fed/watered/injected (trays done but must admit to Justin doing those before he went to work)
    Washing up done, kitchen tidied

    Things to do:
Clean downstairs floors - mop & vacuum
    swish bathroom
go back to bed! I think that's my first job actually, otherwise I won't be fit again.

    See you all later....

Happy Birthday Zed (make a wish) :bdaycake:

ageandjo - Big hugs to you, keep thinking positively and I know it's hard but something will come up I'm sure

Kazonline - What course are you doing in college?

Haven't been well for the last couple of days so hence why no posting, no internet even so I must have been bad!

Anyway, nothing new with me really just starting the full on count down until we go on holiday next week :D and of course everything in my mind is taken up with the fact that I'm off to see Robbie tomorrow! so no more posting until Monday :D:D

Anyway, have a great weekend all

Take or leave the :grouphug: as needed

    Morning folks

Wet and miserable here and getting soooo dark in the mornings.

Have ordered my first Pigsback voucher this morning :j :j :j I love free stuff

One (and hopefully only) load of washing done so far.

Need to go out and get some food shopping. We are off to Majorca early Wednesday morning so don't actually need that much. Have a few things for our trip to get as well. Seems like everything has ran out at same time....foundation, cleanser, mascara, deodorant....I am sure there are other things as well

Every room in the house needs tidied, cleaned, hoovered so that shall keep me busy.

The radio station I am listening to at the moment is having a phone-in about LIDL and it's so funny. People are just phoning in and talking about stuff they have bought there like horse blankets and half price sangria :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Have a great day everyone :D
