Happy birthday PurplePrincess!
(((((taplady))))
:hello: to everyone else. I now have a grotty cold from hell. It didn't help that we had a training day (yes, already! :rolleyes) so I was sitting on a "Reception" age chair ALL day. Not conducive to good work. I am now at home, looking at the pile of marking that I have to do tomorrow, wondering whether I can breathe for long enough.
Last night I went to bed early, with a promise from DH that he would bring me a lemsip. 10.50pm, he wakes me up complete with lemsip
Not much to report today. I think it's going to be a pasta and sauce for supper tonight as I don't have much energy.
Bye for now.

Hi everyone,
My interview went quite well - thanks for all your good wishes!
It was strange as I didn't feel like the people who interviewed me had read my application - they only asked me a couple of questions, then that was it! I know that sounds bad - but I got lots of positive feedback from my presentation so I am hoping they were just pushed for time.
I should hear over the next couple of days so i will let you know what news I get! I am now worrying thought that I tried to smile lots and come over as confident - but worried that I came over as c*cky?!?
Off to a friend's now while the boys watch the footie.

penpen - whats dolcellate cheese and where do you buy it? for yr courgette soup recipe? can you use another cheese instead?
edit: just googled it - says like gorgonzola?
Hi, Shez! Dolcellate is an Italian blue brie. Bet gorgonzola will work just as well.
Moggins, tinned rice pudding is what we all eat when we've been poorly and off our food.

Evening everyone
Just a quick post as I am feeling pooped.
Happy Birthday Purple Princess  Hope you have had a good day.
Roz_V: Sorry to hear your bad news. As someone else has said (sorry can't remember who) the funeral may be before the start of your holiday. My gran passed away exactly 5 years ago today and I was due to go on holiday 2 days later. Of course straight away I said I wasn't going (and everyone else told me just to go) the funeral was actually held in the morning of the day I had planned to go away and I ended up still going on hols (my family insisted).
Been feeling pants the last few days. Had what I thought was an ear infection. Wents to the docs and he couldn't "see" any infection so sent me packing to get a nasal spray from the chemist. Still in extreme pain and can hardly hear in one ear
Also been having a weird pain coming from the top of my ribcage so mentioned this to the doc as well. He "guessed" it may be my gall bladder but had no idea so is sending me for a scan.
My quick post seems to have been extended

Hi there Dorry with the long hair! I haven't heard a thing from Sainsbury's as yet, but no news is good news. I went off to Tesco to get an application form today - it's 15 miles away. Their website said to go to the store you want to work in for a form....the store told me to go to the Job Centre. Bah!0
