Plasma every time for me....
Although they both have plusses and minusses...
Plasma tends to give better blacks..“Careful. We don't want to learn from this.”0 -
how much are you going to spend???
Please DONT buy from the big Currys Comet places...
My TV is £500 cheaper online than in Currys...!!
If you have a model number in mind post it here and I am sure people will find you the best deal.“Careful. We don't want to learn from this.”0 -

what is blacks lol
LOL...blacks is the dark part of your tv picture... makes a big difference to watching dark films like batman etc..
A lot of lcd,s tend to show black as dark grey.. this is due to how the screen is iluminated on an lcd tv..
Do you want the TV mostly for general viewing ? or do you want to watch a lot of Films, or Football,
It really IS important to consider, some TVs show films better but are terrible to watch sport on( ball smear and other problems)
Its a complicated topic but when your spending £700 you need to get it right..“Careful. We don't want to learn from this.”0 -
complicated but bloody exciting, i love shopping lol been wanting a big tv for years and the time is now lol
well just been reading up on plasma vs lcd and plasma is the one for me i think
i do think overall i watch more films than tv, watch usual eastenders, whoo, but do like my films
also my tv will be situated by a window0
