  • Hiya flyladies,

Back home today but still not quite arrived at UK times! Bit chilly here after our mid-90's of the last 2 weeks in the sun.

List for this weekend is, so I do do it :D

    Unpack all cases.
    Put cases away in loft.
    Wash last few grubby bits.
Iron all clean washing brought home.
    Sort out gifts.
    Deal with emails/post etc.
    Uniforms for Monday.
Cut the lawn which has gone all meadow-like!
    Quick flit to Mr T's.
    Compensation claim to Virgin.
    Sort out insurance claim paperwork.
    Update money situation.
    Ebay feedbacks.

    Moam
Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.

    Hi

I've been busy crossing things off my list today. I've had one of those days where i really struggled to get going. Once i started i was ok. We went to an indoor play area thing today and i had great fun climbing up to the top with Ds2. I had to go through a tunnel and i don't like tunnels. Thankfully it was quite a large one so i didn't get too claustraphobic.:o

Hope everyone's ok i'm going to catch up with the thread now.

AnW'sMum so glad you all had a good time and I for one am really proud of you for going there with A and W. Whilst away whenever I got OH to do something like take DS3 down the rapids I thought of you and thought if I was in your situation would I be brave enough to do the things I don't like doing so that my kids could still do them. Hugest hugs and sleep well x

Mudbath, depends on your bank account, sometimes 'rubber' cheques can cause charges. Hope you get it sorted.
AnWsMum welcome home, I might need to pick your brains about caravans now lol
    Moam welcome home :D

I think I need to change the setting on the FF, I might need to find a manual for it online because it's not got one with it and it's got a 0-4 dial (unless someone else has a Candy FF they can tell me which ones lower temp and which is higher) because food seems to be turning much quicker than in the other FF. Milks going sour days before it's use by date.

Not done much studying time yet tonight, DSs have been the yoyo boys not staying in bed. I'm physically shattered after doing the garden so think I might let the dogs out (DP can let them out when he gets in aswell) and take my books to bed. DP will be sleeping on the sofa as he's going to york I think tomorrow so just me and the boys tomorrow, might take them down the bigger park if they finish their bedroom and it's as hot again, DS will moan of course that the pool isn't open yet (they only open in the summer hols I think)
One day I might be more organised...........

And she has arranged a viewing for me to do alone with 2 blokes in an empty house tomorrow. There is no way on this earth she would do it. Rant over.

Didn't think any organisation would still do that.
Can you put in a complaint to management?

soappie - would vertical blinds work? I can't quite decide from the photo if they would.

Vertical blinds would probably work but I don't want them! They would remind me of an office and I spend far too much time in one of those in the week without having reminders at home! But thanks for your thought - it is appreciated.
