aarggghhh!!! have just gone through DD2's wardrobe and have loads of stuff for ebay! am going to have to list the pj's and t-shirts in lots as there are loads! still have to go through DD1's stuff as well! unfortunately with DD2, she is so small for her age that there are no kids smaller than her that i can give the clothes to, but then again, should make me some money lol! i know i can donate some of DD1's old school uniforms equally between the 2 girls either side of me. I have a full shelf in the top of my wardrobe of my stuff that doesn't fit/was donated to me and i will never wear/i dont like it anymore lol. thinking about it, it will cost a fortune to list it all but in theory should make me a lot more? i think i will just sort it all out, donate what i can, list it all in turbo lister and hope for a free or 1p listing day really soon (bummer that i missed the half price one the other day lol)

    We have food!

Just popping down to my neighbour to reclaim my 6 year old from his 'girlfriend' and may just have to have a glass of wine whilst I'm there.

Not getting very far at all.

Dusty, welcome home. Sending - he will do it without too much fuss vibes for your DS.
luby-lou can you not ask the bank to help out on this occasion? Sorry but I think I'd be charging his employer the fees if it's happening a lot.
boddy, you're a great grandma!! Wow!!
bonsaibabe welcome back, ouch! Please don't overdo things, you'll get back on top of it eventually. That does sound like a rather strange rule on hanging laundry, never heard of that before.
bountiful welcome, hope you find this thread useful, we restart on Monday pigpen will post the link on Sunday evening.
soappie pleased to hear lunch (and champagne) went down well. We have curtains on our french doors, to be honest my friend has blinds on hers, they don't reach far enough down and they are dog hair magnets along the bottom.

Oh I forgot to tell you last night :D:D:D We have a Wilkinsons!!!! I'd seen a banner over the Kwiksave sign a while back but when we went past it's got a proper sign now. No more having to goto Shields/Sunderland :D:D might disagree with my bank balance a little at first, I am used to having to stock up while I am there so probably will start the same.

Well a busy afternoon, decided to do the back lawn (which is HUGE!) so DP said he'd get the hedge trimmer out my Dad has loaned us. Well it was all going ok, until he cut through the cable and gave himself an electric shock the berk! So now he'll have to sort that and will have to see if my Dad's happy with a fixed one or wants us to buy him a new one. Anyway I stopped then while he was recovering, we sorted DS2s potato planter - one had water logged so the potatoes had rotted. Pulls out the icky spuds to bin, went to get some compost and the dog proceeded to eat some of one then roll in it. Well it stank, so he was hosed and shampoo'd in the garden much to his disgust, bit of a challenge keeping hold of him. Have put DS2s peas in the planter, have put some canes in but we need to put some string over them which I will do when we go back out. Came back in to do dinner so DP could go to work, that's been eaten and cleaned up after so will do banking stuff then back into the garden see if I can get the lawn finished.
One day I might be more organised...........

Just been sorting out my finances and there's a fee for £32 taken from my account for a returned item....this hasn't happened before. Does it mean i've been charged for someones cheque not clearing? Guess i'll have to wait to hear from them.

Mudbath - hope you sort the bank problem out - bit unfair to charge you if a cheque has 'bounced' I never knew it worked like that

    :hello:bonsibabe and bountiful!

dusty - welcome back! Thank you for wishes, and hope you had a nice holiday - I should take tomorrow off flying as well!

soappie - would vertical blinds work? I can't quite decide from the photo if they would.

Busy day - whisked downtown, and came back without spending anything. I tried on a linen suit, but couldn't decide if I liked it or not, so I'll go back with DD, my personal shopper!Weekly shopping - £16 over budget. I think I'll have to join the grocery challenge. Then after lunch I went over to see Mum, stopping off briefly at the allotment to pick some pinks, sweet williams and sweet peas - and a small bag of veggies for Dad. Mum was quite bright, and it was really nice to see her, and Dad looked much more relaxed today as well.

I've looked at the weekend list, and as I have done a few bits this week, have new sofas and no pets - I'm well ahead!
