awwww - I love seeing those piccies Rach, you look so, so happy! We were looking at our piccies a few weeks ago. Our children thought they were really funny. It was our 11th wedding anniversary at the beginning of this month
PF - that's what I had done last year, I couldn't remember the name of it. I was told it would work straight away or not at all but things did get better after about 6 months. I went from about 14 days a month to only 2 days. It's only 6 months on from that it's gone a bit wierd again. I will go and see the doctor next week when the children are back at school. I promice!!0 -

I have very fond memories of Bognor from my childhood. You are very lucky. I'm about a mile inland as the crow flies from the nearest beach. But, if the coastal erosion continues, I'll have a sea view in about 50 years:DI am the leading lady in the movie of my life

JAMIEDODGER and SOAPPIE I am VERY jealous - I'd love to live by the sea and / or in Dorset (memories of lots of happy camping trips to Swanage with DH and the kids)
Taurus, living in a tourist area has many downsides - mainly the tourists!
And you do tend to get a bit blase about your surroundings. For example, I NEVER visit the beach in summer - there are too many visitors cluttering up the place. But, on the good side, there's nothing more bracing than a stroll along the beach in the middle of winter when there's a gale blowing in - certainly dusts off the cobwebs very well.I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
We had the beginnings of a wasps nest in the childrens playhouse last year.. hubby took it out intact microwaved it then did the lesson.
maybe us flyladies should produce a list of 'alternative uses for the microwave'. We have Pigpen's nuke the wasp's nest which is an excellent example of lateral thinking. What we do at work if we have to put any sensitive data on a CD in order to transfer it from one computer system to another is then put that CD in the microwave in the kitchen for about 10 seconds at full power - the data is totally unreadable after that...I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Up to page 8 but tired and going to bed. Got my niece and nephew all day tomorrow - they're 10 and 7 so not too bad and the 10 yr old just wants to be 'mum' to DD2 so she can be quite a help!
Night night everyone!0 -
All this talk of wasps!!!
I want to go to bed but i've got my eye on some wire netting on ebay...don't I live an exciting life! 18 minutes to go xx
When we were looking at caravans yesterday (when I should have really been studying) they all had a fly net built in to the door, so you could use it and have the door open, why don't all houses have these? It just pulled out and clipped in. My oldest has a major fly (fly, bees, wasps etc) issue, he hates windows and doors open because of it, so considering something similar. I hate a stuffy house, I like having the windows open in the bedroom even when it's freezing (much to DPs disgust) but the flies are always a worry.
soappie - I understand what you mean, we live very close to a VERY popular park, I usually avoid going in the summer or when it's hot because it is too busy. I love going down to feed the ducks in the winter and when it's been raining because they appreciate it more. They do sometimes chase you for food  and last year I had my toe bruised by a bird pecking my foot because I'd stood on some bread.
Rach I don't mind you posting them again, such lovely photos, they make me smile. I love the one on the beach. Almost make me consider getting married :rotfl:
A dream house for my sons would be near the beach, they'd go every day if they could, it's the dogs fave place aswell but they get banned from most in the summerbecause some ignorant people don't clean up after their dogs.
One day I might be more organised...........
GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb0 -
Thanks rach. can you pm me any money saving tips for weddings when you et a minute. I will look at the wedding forum too. I don't want to look like I am mean but I also don't want to go throwing money away. I made my sisters' bridesmaids dresses but that was a long time ago. My wedding was hard work as we made most of the food ourselves and Iwas prepping salads just hours before the wedding.
I was sent up to bed hours ago to rest as I am shattered today so i think I should get to sleep. I have a busy day tomorrow, shopping, physio and then out in the evening. Oops, no flying again!business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527
