    Morning all

Another night of little sleep. I am tired and then as soon as my head hits the pillow I start panicking about this blooming driving test. I have some Kalms as they are meant to be good and I have to get some Bachs Stress Remedy or whatever it is. Does anyone know of anything else or better???

Lil_me - I so know how you feel about you Grandma in law. DH's was the same. She used to be the life and soul of the party but about 4 years ago she changed completely. I used to feel sorry for MIL as she would just sit down and GIL would be demanding a glass of water, cushion from the car, cup of tea - again I think it was just so she was the centre of attention. She passed away in Feb and whilst it was sad in a way it was kind of a relief because we still remembered how she used to be, I like to remember her with a brandy and soda in her hand playing cards and laughing:D .

Not checked what todays task is but I have a scummy house in need of tidying so here goes:-

    Kitchen
    S & S
    Sweep & Mop floor
Clean cupboard where toaster lives (full of crumbs)

    Bathroom
    S & S
    Sweep & mop floor
    Scrub loo

    Lounge
    S & S
    Hoover
    Wipe sofas over

    Bedrooms
    General tidy
    Hoover

    Other tasks
    Sweep and mop porch
    Hoover hall
Put cover back on carseat, pic and put on ebay
List eye toy for PS3 on ebay
Check list for what I planned for tea
Birthday card for DD1 party on Saturday
    Hoover my car out

Kids moaning they want to do sticking and glueing so I best get on. Cuppa and ipod me thinks;)

I've just had a brainwave. [STRIKE]Sod[/STRIKE] Forget the curtains for the french windows, I think I'll go for roman blinds - that way the wooden architrave will not be hidden. Does anyone have any and are they easy to wash/keep clean?

Much brighter here this morning, but I'm still sniffling... I have said I'd take DD to Primark this morning, so must get off pc and do some flying before we leave. Bathroom for me today.

Hugs to jamiedodger, will be thinking of you today

lil_me - noticed you were missing, but thought perhaps you were up to your eyes in OU work, and halfterm mayhem. Treat yourself to something nice today - bunch of flowers, tea in the garden??

Denise - sounds like you had a rough day. Is your MIL okay?

rach - I love those photos too! Can I please ask you if you can remember the company you bought your bed from? I know you posted details, but I can't find it!

soappie - Tourist town here too - the Cathedral is the most visited tourist attraction in the South East after Legoland..(Geography GCSE coursework!).You can walk up the High Street most days and hear only French/German/Italian etc...on the plus side, it's great for a language teacher, although I can see one day I'm going to get arrested for loitering around groups of French schoolchildren...

morning peeps, well just made it through the thread, was last seen on page 8

    Welcome to jamiedodger and Triggles

The french doors are fab soappie and such a lovely view into the garden

Scared - I use Raid ant and cockroach killer as I have a fear of ants after being being by red ones when I was little. I just spray it round the edges of the room where they might be able to get in. Find it better than powder as not so messy

Pigpen - love the picture of Tiddles, so like my tig. I remember finding worms in the washing machine that she'd left in the pocket of a dress uuuuuugh, and also another time when I told her she couldnt do painting she made her own - ketchup salad cream and brown sauce (all in squirty bottles ofcourse) and proceeded to paint the kitchen walls, radiator and door with them !
Oh and my rabbit used to love the strawberry creams from a box of chocolates which was cool as noone else liked them :D

So since Tuesday I have ...........

taken DD to dentist which was ok, one small filling
rewarded her with Lush and only spent £16 myself but couldnt get the shampoo I wanted.
Spent a fortune in Lakeland bought the Remoska, anyone have any good ideas for recipes. Did a lovely seabass on a bed of onions peppers tomatoes and garlic and it was the best ever mmmmmmmm
Yesterday managed to sort the washing and load a few times but not much else, so am way behind.

Kids want to go swimming today, but to the wave pool so thats another 70 mile round trip. And also need to take OH to pick up the bike which went for a service yesterday but when we went to pick it up there was a "problem". It was in bits as they weree trying to fit something OH had asked them to and bascally theyve mucked it up so hoping its sorted today.

Then tomorrow we have about a 100 mile orund trip to combine a day out at Pleasurewood Hills if fine, and take dear niece home.

    Flying - maybe Saturday :D

    See you all then
Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!

Morning everyone:hello: , internet been down for awhile so haven't been able to get on. One man from orange even told me to ring back when someone came home that would know about computers so i had to tell them that the best that could be done was me.:rotfl:

Have tried very hard to keep up with flying and i haven't done very good.:rotfl: Haven't been able to catch up on the thread so happy birthday's and big hugs to everyone i missed over the last few weeks.

Kid's have been crazy this last week or so. DS1 is back to wetting the bed and freaked out because his bum was bleeding when he does a poo (TMI), so keeping an eye on him and hopefully it will pass.

Took the car up last week to get fixed and for them to have a look at the radio/cd player because it stopped working turns out it's full of money, kids decided it was hungry so 110 pounds for a new one but i have it with another man at the minute so fingers crossed it can be fixed.

Plan is to get the garden done today, hedges and grass. Lift one bike that was in getting fixed and the other bike can't be fixed. School meeting tonight and DD's appointment tomorrow, then out saturday night for a night out:j can't wait it's been over a year since i was last out to the pub. Plan is to get happily drunk which won't take much, i'm such a lightweight.

    Right cuppa then garden.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Got a bloke just sent a message about a petrol lawnmower I have up on Ebay. he wanted to know if I would do a BIN price and could he collect today. So mailed back saying what did he want to offer. Answer my start price. I've emailed him back saying I have 12 watchers (which I do) so will leave it to go to end of auction. DID I DO THE RIGHT THING?
