Both boys asleep for now - i wish i was. Dinner is just finishing off, and i am feeling proud because i have ticked everything off my mini-list for today. :j DH has to go back out to work about ten, so i am going to be having a bath after dinner, and then hopefully DS2 will feed about ten and i can watch desperate housewives and bed. I am having that mid-week slump. I keep saying to myself it is a phase, but i am useless without sleep. (Didn't get my afternoon nap as someone was sat on my knee moaning the whole time  )

i am going to set simple goals for today:
    • [strike]hoover downstairs[/strike]
    • [STRIKE]wash up breakie and lunch dishes[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]prep some veg for dinner[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]bath both boys[/STRIKE]
    • [strike]shred pile of papers[/strike]
    • [strike]throw dead flowers in compost[/strike]
    • [strike]make jacket spuds for lunch[/strike]
right - [strike]starting with washing and teeth cleaning[/strike]

    extras:
    • cleaned inside and outside of microwave
    • put all recycling in bin
    • wiped dining room table, cleaned placemats
    • looked at dates on food bought yesterday to work out a vague meal plan
Just need to set myself some targets for tomorrow now, and then i am sorted.

    Michelle, x

    MOJT Happy Birthday

Sorry, bit chaotic here aswell as being in a bit of a 'slump' myself (know how you feel Michelle) seriously fell off the wagon, everything is getting on top of me, but will find my way back through eventually. Staying awake is a challenge in itself at the minute. Just wanted to let you all know I am still alive (incase anyone missed me :p ) Must start the getting back out by doing some of my assignment, it's due in next Wednesday and barely started. I would ask for an extension, but I have another due the week after which I can't have one for, so would just end up further behind.

Spent an hour trawling through for car insurance (because of DP getting new car) pleased with the results, cheapest by far was Lloyds TSB, added bonus £80 cashback via Quidco!!! So it's cost me £280 for my car insurance which I am very pleased with!!!

Anyway enough of my waffling on. Hope you are all well ((hugs for all)) Jamie I hope all goes ok tomorrow. Soappie I LOVE those french doors.
One day I might be more organised...........

Jamie - thinking of you tomorrow xx

DD and DS ready for bed and reading in their bedrooms. It's quiet at the moment so i'll give them a bit longer. I've got a years holiday insurance for the whole family for £64 and i'm getting a tenner back through quidsco, that's about the half the price it was last year.

Famous last words....I can hear children!!! xx

My laptop has got loads of stuff I don't want on it (Like AOL software, Napster which I've already removed) and nothing that useful for the minute  Haven't got a clue where to start either so I think I'll just do my TMA on this computer this time.

DD is covering everything in stickers ATM, I'm waiting for inspiration to strike but I keep getting distracted by Springwatch. So I think I'll giv up and watch it and try to spend an hour or so on my TMA later.:rotfl::rotfl:

Oh my goodness!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DH found a wasp nest in the shed. It was only small - about the size of a tennis ball - and he managed to put it in a jar and kill the queen. When he opened up the nest it had about thirty wasp larvae (if that's what you call them) in it. He then precedes to give dd and ds a lesson in wasp nest making and totally freaked me out in the process!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh well, I guess we're about 30 wasps less this summer.

We had the beginnings of a wasps nest in the childrens playhouse last year.. hubby took it out intact microwaved it then did the lesson.. just to make sure everything was dead!! lol.. the queens are hideous!! When DD1 was born it was July and I had the front door open when the MW came calling.. we were sitting there when this hideous queen wasp floated in and proceeded to walk across the floor.. I was making frantic 'omg look over there' eye movements to hubby who was totally oblivious in the end I squealed at him to kill it.. lol

So, wise and wonderful flyladies - how long do we reckon the "pooing in the bath, then screaming with horror at what you've done" stage might last? I should hasten to add this is DD (16 months), OH can sort himself out ;).

Both of my DDs did the same. DS didn't though.

How about the "pooing in the bath then picking it up and flinging it out" stage  DD2 did that and I cleaned it up. It was only a couple of days later I found the big lump stuck behind the bidet :rotfl:
