Both of my DDs did the same. DS didn't though.
How about the "pooing in the bath then picking it up and flinging it out" stage  DD2 did that and I cleaned it up. It was only a couple of days later I found the big lump stuck behind the bidet :rotfl:

DS1 used to fish it out and put it on the window sill.. ROFL.. gross things!
DD2 went through a mercifully short stage of "poo painting". You wouldn't believe how far it goes :rotfl::rotfl:. Mind you it wasn't so funny at the time.
Right I'm off to bed now that the bread and the ginger muffins are out of the oven. Just managed to get the young uns off - DH took himself off about half an hour ago. My bed, a large mug of coffee and a book are calling me
By the way I'm hoping that when it's children's rooms day I will have a day off. I've told them that they can do their own rooms on that day. Oh well, we live in hope and die in despair. :rolleyes:0 -
jamiedodger sorry about your gran. Hope the funeral tomorrow brings you some comfort.
moj2 happy birthday
nicki, gunsandbanjoes and lil-me don't envy the coursework at the moment. What makes us take on so much
cats grrr! don't get me started on Fred today - the ****** has been a pain in the bum today - he sat on a pillow i have been lying the baby on and wee'd on it, said pillow has now had to go in the bin. He has been in and out like a yoyo all day, bringing crud into the house on his long fur. Ginger stunk of poo last night and was sat with his backside right next to the car seat. I feel like getting rid of the pair of them at the minute. I don't know whether the cat was marking territory or his kidneys are playing up again, but i won't be putting up with an incontinent cat of less than 3 years old.
wasps it's amazing where they get - we had a nest in our cavity wall when we moved in and it took us ages to work out where they were getting in the house. I hate the things.
Right, had my bath now, DH washed up, and has just rescued a cardboard box from the garden and put it in the green bin. Best come up with some sort of list for tomorrow - not going mad though as i may be shattered again.- clean kitchen sink and draining board
- empty bathroom bin
- clean the potty - noticed my nephew must have used
- put out green bin for recycling
- move the filing from the TV cabinet to the filing cabinet
- bring upstairs toy box down
- sort through toy boxes - seperate out baby toys and DS1 toys
- HHI
- groom both the cats

evening all from a very tired rach :hello:
I am always tired at the moment, so glad we're going on hols next week, though it is a walking holiday, but i think will be relaxing all the same! (fingers crossed for good weather!)
Long day at work, got back just before 7, DH came and met me at the station as I ended up with my work laptop (a brick!) and some shopping too (pizzas for £1.50 in M&S but then had to bring them all the way home...) and all the usual carp - 4 bags in the end! He has people round now for a kind of discussion / study group but I have opted out and caught up on emails (work) and other bits and bobs, not to mention on here. Just put the hot water on for a bath, will go in a min, just a bit nervous as 4 blokes (plus DH) next door and no lock on our bathroom...
no flying done but hey, can't do everything! we have a photocall tomorrow in London, as it's Get Walking day on Friday, which is linked to my work. I get to meet Floella Benjamin of all people - quite excited about that!
Will prob pop back on later but hugs etc to all.Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -
dougierobino wrote: »So, wise and wonderful flyladies - how long do we reckon the "pooing in the bath, then screaming with horror at what you've done" stage might last? I should hasten to add this is DD (16 months), OH can sort himself out
. Ooh, sorry - that's a bit repulsive!
My daughter did this tonight for the first time, she is 16 months also. I nipped into the bedroom to get her pj's ready and i could hear her shouting mum, mum, muuuum then saying eughhhhh and then laughing! I walked in and she had it in her hand and was trying to wash herself with it!!! I had to re run the bath for her and do it all again lol
Kids don't you just love them!
I was hoping to get started on tomorrows flying tonight, but my oh has taken over upstairs to watch the football! So im sat downstairs watching Britians got talnt while eating chocolate!0 -
Ewww not wasps, please. We've had loads at the front of the house, I don't know why they are there, can only pressume there is a nest somewhere but hope there isn't. I remember my friend moved into her house she found a nest above a built in cupboard thing, I don't like the darn things!! I had a reaction when I was little to a sting which makes me VERY wary, especially if they are near the boys incase they have the same reaction.
I do feel lucky as we've never had a poo in the bath, I remember my Mam saying the last one I shared with my sister when we were little was when she did it, but mine never did. We have had smearing and dumping in corners etc however.
I should be studing but my brain is in off mode!! Suppose I should try some more, miht be back later xOne day I might be more organised...........

I think its the multi-tasking as a mum we get used to doing so many things at once, only trouble I'm finding is baby brain is still kicking in 7 years on:rotfl::rotfl: I think come September when I'm out studying and working at the same time I might be a bit better, but not "having anything to do" so to speak ATM (as in no outside the home commitments except my course) is causing my brain to turn to some sort of ooze
If I had my time over I would have started this course 6 years ago when I could still sit and read Shakespeare and do a critical analysis of it in my head :rotfl::rotfl:At least by now I'd be qualified:rotfl::rotfl:
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
All this talk of wasps!!!
I want to go to bed but i've got my eye on some wire netting on ebay...don't I live an exciting life! 18 minutes to go xx0 -
jamiedodge will be think of you and yours tomorrow.
DD once eat the content of her nappy (make me wonder when she became such a fussy eater):rotfl: I'm sure if I start telling people this it will insure I dont have to wory about boyfriends for a long time
Well eventually got the bathrom done and went in to start DS room but have had the bright idea of having DD and DS swap rooms, though whether it a good idea or not remains to be seem:o .
