My mistake I misread it, trying to keep up with this, doing merges and comping is taking its toll lol

I do the same - I try and avoid the kids/maternity/mothers comps but most of the time I still thank them for the effort they put into finding the comp xxx

I,m sorry , but I like the comps ending list, my wife is disabled , and I feel guilty spending so much time on the computer, so theese lists are a godsend to me, although sometimes I dont even have time to go all the way through tthem. I really really appreciate that other people are sorting out my comps for me ( as this is what they are doing for a lot of people). I will miss them when they go, but am I right in thinking , that if I put E08/08 in a forum search , it should bring up all the comps, ending that day? Thanks to everyone that does theese lists , but as you say why should you it is voulentary, and you should receive no hassle for doing theese. Thanks:T

I have volunteered to take over from iwannabeonthebeach to 'run' the comp ending threads, only because no-one else came forward & I did offer to help a few months ago. I am happy to do this, I feel without anyone doing this FOR NOW it would end up a mess for the rest of this month. AFAIK there is NO lists out for September & I'm not taking names until it has been decided what is happening.

A poll would be good yes, but like others have said it could end up people voting FOR the threads but not helping the forum any other way.

Personally I feel the best way forward would be for the BG's to decide between all 4 of them, come to a decision either way & stick to it!

searching for the end date won't bring the comps up, but all you need to do is sort threads by title and that will group all the ones with the same end date :cool:

We did decide no before, but was overruled due to the fact the last poll was overwhelmingly in favour of them, so it was decided by those higher up that it should stay, hence us saying we wouldn't "officially" moderate ( when really we do end up doing it, stickying it, sorting out messes as we do get the PM's for it)


I'd have a sneaking suspicion even if it was suspended it may come back, thats even if it got as far as a suspension.
