Basically, the competitions ending lists never used to be on here...they appeared, there were arguements...there were rules decided....these rules have gradually been broken again...people are getting annoyed again.
I think...:rotfl:
That sums it up perfectly! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:Value of prizes 2010 - 2017: £8374 Wins 2022: Magic set

I just thought I'd add my view to the ending lists fiasco...
Personally I love the lists and I appreciate everyone who posts the comps, compiles the ending lists, and just everyone who posts on the board in general as bar a few niggles it's been a lovely place to be, it all takes time and I'm very grateful for it! :T
(I think sometimes some of the disagreements come from not knowing how a person has said something, i.e. jokes sometimes don't come out well in text, even with a few 'lol's'!! Also when people are feeling particularly vulnerable I think things might be taken to heart and obviously not everyone knows how everyone else is feeling all of the time)
I have looked for comps to post myself but I search before posting (incase it's a dupe) and they are already there, probably because this is such a big community now and everyone is looking for the same thing so very little gets past us all!
I haven't offered to do any of the ending lists because I can't guarantee that I will be able to do it as I am ill and don't know how I will feel from one day to the next, also because of the strict time they have to be posted, I might not be around after 8pm to post, and I definitely wouldn't be around before at least 10am to post it in the morning and I've seen people before questioning where they are if they are not up by the morning (when I've been catching up with posts) I'd feel like I'd let everyone down if I wasn't able to post!
Also I don't mean to upset anyone, as it's a general observation, but I think maybe it's become too regimented(I don't know if that's the right word) what I mean is that people get a bit 'where is it?! such and such should be posting' and then checking if they've been online if it's not been posted. I personally would prefer to miss one day rather than all of them because they have to be taken away completely.
I'm really sorry if that doesn't make much sense, or if I've worded something in a way that upsets people, I really don't mean to offend anyone it's just my heads very 'foggy' at the moment and I can't think straight, there was probably more I wanted to add but I can't remember!
But once again, thanks everyone for making this into the lovely big community that it is! :T :grouphug:0 -
Great thread bargainhuntergirl agree with everything you said (you said it much better than tried to) particularly about the disagreements, it is hard to come across on non talk emotion way and people not knowing your personality (hope that makes sense)Its a great forum and I love it and chip in sometimes though im c**p at finding new comps:rotfl:Thanks to all OPs:AThe Real Chris

I've done this a few times for prizes like iPods or DSs, etc coz I know that my kids would be able to use these items if we got the right stuff on there for them and we would definitely do this
but I'm in 2 minds whether it's ethical or not ???
What do you think? You should never call somebody else a nerd or geek because everybody (even YOU !!!) is an"anorak" about something whether it's trains, computers, football, shoes or celebs:rotfl:

i alway enter my kids on the compsReplies to posts are always welcome, if they are done in the correct manner. If I have made a mistake in the post, I am human, tell me nicely and it will be corrected. If your reply cannot be nice, has an underlying issue, or you believe that you are God, please post in another forum. Thank you0

I think if you've got children yourself then that's not quite as bad as someone who enters even though they have no kids0
