I bookmark any kids comps, and if my neice comes round I ask her if she wants to enter them (something she looks forward to doing) I don't enter on her behalf though as she's not my child and we're at different addresses.
Not sure if the op realises that the main board is just for comps, and this should be in the discussion thread? (Think the same person started a discussion on the main board yesterday which had to be moved)Al Mac Appreciation Society (AMAS) member # 6½

Thanks for the explanation - I'd never heard of that before. Oh well it looks as if there might be a few more people on here receiving that email as well then.....2022 wins include.... £1,000 cheque £150 ASDA gift card £250 Impericon gift voucher £100 cheque £100 of plant bulbs £100 Bower Collective voucher0 -

Unfortunately you will not be entered into the competition as it is a private, closed competition for customers only and not open to people looking for free stuff via Martin Lewis.
came from the regalos team a shoe comp i do believe i was looking at their shoes as well and fancied a pair guess what wont be buying them now.
Regalos Limited have actually apologised in the original thread, saying all those who had received the snotty email would be entered

If you enter any competition that exists (and somehow find the time to do it) does the winnings (i.e. a biscuit) really counterweigh the 10 a day junk mail you get through the door and potentially spreading personal information?0

ive been doing them for approx a month, havent won anything except some tickets to an antiques fair, but cant say I have received any junk mail because of it and I am doing 100 comps a day, if you tick the dont send info button its ok, I dont even get excessive junk in my comps email account either.
Also most comps are more than a Biscuit, and looking at some regulars signatures they win quite a bit. While Im sitting here at my PC entering comps is ok to do while im surfing the net anyway."Well, that sounds like a pretty good deal. But I think I got a better one. How about I give you the finger, and you give me my phone call"

going back to todays 'hot topic' I think its a good idea to scrap the comps ending threads, its made me lazy:rolleyes: Now I see a comp and often think I wont enter it yet I'll wait till the comps ending list comes up, but funniest thing is even though I make sure I have entered every comp i want to in the comps ending list I've won buggar all:rolleyes: Before when I was doing all the comps I wanted to do and not worrying about the ones I had missed I was winning loads more than now. Now when the lists for 31st come up I panic and find I havent entered as many as I thought so struggle to complete them all and win zilch. I havent offered to do any comps ending lists as with 3 kids one a 3yr old demanding monkey:D I'd never get it done. I defineatly wouldnt miss it if it was gone as I am going back to my OS way of comping and sorting out what I need to do first, itms, probably not I am waffling:rolleyes:
Anyway welcome back RCB, poor ginjim, has no clean clothes left:rotfl:to be updated:;)0 -
Set up an e-mail address for entering the comps like yahoo, msn etc but watch out because some wins can be in your junk folder so don't delete too fast or you might delete a WEM
Also with junk mail through the door......recycle or save all the junk paper and use for the 5th Nov.......afew Guy Fawkes for the top of the Bonfire is all goodJust Remember What Ol' s0ulassassin Does When The Earth Quakes, & The Poison Arrows Fall From The Sky, & The Pillars Of Heaven Shake. I do get more spam emails and junk mail then I used to before I started entering comps. I've had some really good prizes though so I don't really mind spending 5 minutes a day deleting off junk emails and getting rid of any junk mail in the post (I normally take off the bit with my personal details and then put the letters / catalogues etc in the recycling).2022 wins include.... £1,000 cheque £150 ASDA gift card £250 Impericon gift voucher £100 cheque £100 of plant bulbs £100 Bower Collective voucher0 -
Please dont take this the wrong way but this should really be in the competitions discussion thread not in the competitions bitto be updated:;)0

but I'm in 2 minds whether it's ethical or not ???
What do you think?
I enter my 6 yr old step daughter for the kids comps, shes not won on any yet but if anything comes for her she will get it. I don't enter my 15 month old because shes too little for most things.. i think its a bit silly entering small toddlers for prizes such as nintendo DS and games because its obviously not for them
Laura xThanks to everyone that posts :T:money:
