EXCUSE ME
I wrote that thread 2 seconds ago.. WHERE IS MY THANKS?
Ignorant lot. Am ignoring you aaaaalllll:cool:0 -
Can I just point something out, namely the first line of the "Forum Etiquette" on the right hand side of where you are looking right noW: "Pls be nice to all MoneySavers.... even if you disagree courtesy helps".
I browse through MSE almost every day, mostly looking for freebies and comps, but sometimes also just to cheer me up. My general perception is that MSE-ers are basically nice people and I get a nice warm, fuzzy feeling reading some of the forum entries and the way that complete strangers want to help each other out, congratulating each other when things go well, commiserating when they dont and generally give out a good, positive vibe.
Getting in a huff over lack of Thanks seems a bit petty to me; I always try to use the Thanks button for every comp I enter via MSE or freebie I apply for, but sometimes I forget, get distracted and sometimes the button doesn't work! So lighten up people - MSE is unique as an online community and we should all be proud to be a part of it.
BTW I'm not looking for Thanks but it would be nice !!! LOL!!!:rotfl:0 -
Sorry - got in a tad late - but there you go ... just hit the button with frantic haste! Pleeeeease don't be cross with me again!Dippychick wrote: »EXCUSE ME

I think we should have a new "Wheres My Thanks?" button available, so we can place urgent reminders on posts whose authors are a bit slack

Maybe we could have a google toolbar to manage the system?Happy chappy0

Good plan - we could then have a whole spectrum of thankyou options, from "Thankyou darling from the bottom of my heart, I'll love you forever", through something middling like "Who cares? ... I don't", all the way down to "You miserable old git(ess) - WMFT?!". Plus other snazzy features no doubt. Random thankyou phrases maybe? Oh and of course the most essential one of all - "I wish I hadn't thanked you now! Give it me back!"tomstickland wrote: »Maybe we could have a google toolbar to manage the system?Favours are returned ... Trust is earned
