    Hi Nicola (nmm) & welcome.

Oh my life that kit is gorgeous but would be wayyyyyy too much for me to think about tackling :D
I have put a Tiger & Cub kit in hubbys watch list on e-bay and have mentioned the words 'christmas present' when showing him the link :rotfl:

Thanks guys, i read this bit of the desciption "a substantial amount of half cross stitch" so hope that it wont be as tough as it looks :rotfl: I did my old designs about 8 years ago at the time i didn't have a camera or a computer so i have no photo's but i do still have the magazines so will take them from there to show you.

    :hello:

Hi everyone. Thought I'd pop in and say hi seen as I've been lurking on the UFO thread. I feel like such a beginner looking at everyone else's projects. I've been cross stitching for a while but mostly cards and the odd kit. The only one I finished and framed was called Night fairy by Maria Van Scharrenburg. I was so proud of it, but it's probably tiny compared to the ones I've seen on here. I am sooo impressed with the big pictures you guys have been doing, not sure I'd have the time or patience to finish any of them. The polar bear I'm stuck on at the moment is 11" square and I thought that was big

I adore the lions, good luck NMM, hope you can do it. I bet it will look amazing.

Shelly, I am still a beginner, but I accidentally bought a christmas kit that was on evenweave. I totally panicked and thought there was no way I could do it, but it was really easy once you got into it. I actually preferred it once I got a few rows in and had something to use as a reference to count from (if that makes sense!) I'm sure your noah's ark will be wonderful.
:xmastree:What a splendid idea, this Christmas sounds fun. I fully endorse it, let's try it at once!:xmastree:

    Thanks for the encouragement!

Afternoon all, my cousin has just gone into hospital to b induced early due to pre-eclampsia and I have on the spur of the moment decided I would like to quickly stitch her a lovely card. I was just wondering if any1 had or knew where I could get a small chart for it? She is having a boy.

    TIA

Thanks ruth_honey, I didn't know about the free charts section. I've also been looking for a nice picture to put on a new baby card but hadn't seen one I liked. On that website under the animals section there is a chart of a mother and baby panda. It's perfect!!!!
