Sorry I haven't been on this thread for ages. Just wanted to let you all know that you can now subscribe to Cross Stitcher using Tesco Clubcard vouchers... http://www.tesco.com/clubcard/deals/browse.aspx?N=4294966467+4294964963

Cross Stitcher is £13 of vouchers for a year subscription :T

I beat you to it! ;) #806. Great news, isn't it? My mum was thrilled and is going to cash in her vouchers. I think she's excited about reading current magazines, instead of the older issues she finds in charity shops. I wonder if we email them again, they'll get some other titles? I miss Crazy and WOXS...

So sorry, I only found out today and had to share the brilliant news!!!

If it's any consolation, I am a bit bored with WOXS at the moment, don't think I will renew my subscription when it runs out.

I let all my subs lapse, as I'm running out of space, and I can't really afford it. But if they all came on the Tesco CC deals I would reconsider...:rotfl:

Does Cross Stitcher regularly give away cover kits/freebies? I am quite tempted for £13 of Tesco vouchers.

Yes, something every month plus the new subscriber gifts are usually good too!

I knew I had a lot of kits, but it's been a while since I last went through them properly, so I thought I'd get the box out and see if there was anything that I could bear to part with. Well, I was a bit shocked and quite embarrassed at exactly how much I had...

I made a quick list of what I have:
    Country Companions-8
    Felicity Wishes-4
    Dolly Mamas-4
    Forever Friends-13
    Cut Thru'-3
    Winnie The Pooh-27
    Born to Shop-3
    Looney Tunes-3
    Tatty Teddy-4
    Lilliput Lane-3
    Lickle Ted-5
    Bagpuss-3
    Dolphins-6
    Elliot & Buttons-2
    Somebunny to Love-2
    Solo the cat-1
    Newtons Law-3
    Popcorn-3
    Bang On the Door-2
    Animals-14
    Honey Pots-3
    Flowers & scenery-16
    Maps-2
    Samplers & Misc.-15
    Dictionary of...-3
    Daydreams (with frames)-3
    Piggin'-1

    That makes 156 kits (I think!):eek::eek::eek:
This doesn't include my UFO's, missing kits (I know there's several hidden around the house somewhere), the cover kits, or any of the charts I own. Oh my goodness....I feel faint!

My goodness, I feel faint too.

Love the Lickle Ted one and eeyore. and Elliot and ... oh they're all lovely.

Maybe you should ebay the ones that you are unlikely to get around to. And if any of the listing numbers were to find their way into my pm box I wouldn't be offended;)

I've yet to get around to my next project but I'm off work this week so maybe I'll get some done. I'm meant to be resting but the house is a mess and there is a huge ironing pile and stuff still to do in the nursery. Maybe I need to use the stitching as an excuse to relax for a bit.

I did look through them all to see if there was any I could sell. You'd think with 27 Winnie The Pooh kits, I could find at least 1 that I could part with, but no...
I know I'll never finish everything, but at the moment, there just aren't any that I can get rid of. Better put the box away before hubby comes home and makes me sell them all!

Yeah, yeah....I know! And I have a lot more larger kits than I remember too. What scares me is what my stash is worth. If there's ever a fire, I'd be better off grabbing my kits and leaving my jewellery behind! :rotfl:
