    Well, i didnt cry!

Train cancelled again today! But am im a really good mood, its DS first school disco tonight and i also had a call from school today, was surprised to hear DS has kind of settled down the last three weeks. And is no where as bad as he was.

Also DS is staying at my dads tonight, it was arranged late, so i dont quite know what to do with myself. I could be sensible and stay in, tidy etc. BUT i want to PARTY for some reason. In fact i think i NEED to party. Just need to find a mate who doesnt have a baby and wants to go out.

Have no money though, £2.40 for the train tomorrow. As i had to pay £6 at school yesterday for theatre and disco.

ONE MORE DAY - but have arranged to come in on the 2nd to go though the VAT.

Well thats it, no more work, well travelling to work for a while. I have only opened one pressie, thought it would be chocs, but turns out its a bottle of purfume. Compleatly unexpected, feeling that my pots of gold wont be good enough now.

Also had a nice little bonus from work enough for a nice day out over the hols with DS. I SHOULD spent it on debts, but i really want to take DS out and not have to worry too much over money. Planning on going out to the hyde park on Sunday.

Still havent spent any more money on food, but the cupboards are now bare, i panick when i have no food in. Going to do a resonable shop on Sunday morning.

Next week is already looking busy, i am looking after DS best mate on Monday as his mum has a app at hospital. Not to sure what to do with them both yet.

On the money side, i got £1300 in the bank,

    I paid

    Vanquis £100
    C/Care £ 50
and transfered the rest into my savers acc until the 1st of Jan.

Off to bed soon, im shattered.
  • Tut tut tut!! :rotfl: No opening pressies til crimbo day!!!! Only jesting hun - Shame it wasn't chocs - I bet you were looking forward to tucking into them!!

Don't worry about spending the bonus on a day out for you and DS! You budget all year long - this money wasn't in the budget, so you are not going to miss it! And the enjoyment you get from a nice day out will be huge!!!

Its like I know that I have money from my parents for crimbo. They are away, so have got my presents from them already! There is an envelope that I know has cash in it. I am going to spend whatever is in it on my OH and me. Clothes and shoes etc in the sales. Then, I won't need to worry about having to budget for either for quite a while and I get to satisfy my urge to go sales shopping and not feel guilty!! Although I can almost guarantee that if I have the money to spend - I won't find anything I like!!

Have a great weekend - I'm only at work til 2 and then only Mon and Tues to go!!!!!

Will be a NSD today. Not really going out anywhere, DS is going out to play downstairs in a little while and i really have to crack on round the house.
Have also been looking at my budget and its really not looking good for January.

Will need to do a huge food shop tomorrow going to get the xmas bits too. Have only got a £100 budget. Buti need everything im nearlyout of every flour, just all the basics dont even have a tin of toms:eek: .

Anyway, list for today, whats left of it.

    Loaf of bread
    Shopping list
Play around with budgets, try and sort something  Decided to do the 4k a year challenge:eek:
    Finsh off kitchen & floor
    Scrub bathroom
    Quick hover around

So i really need to start getting myself sorted.

Off out for most of today food shop, argos and then out this afternoon. It is going to cost a fortune, the cupboards really are bare. Made my list and will still to it.

I decided to do the 4k a year challenge and really need to start sorting budgets ready for the new year. I think this can really work for me as i love challenges and it will get my debt cleared really quickly.

Hope everyone is having a good weekend.

Well did spend a small fortune, but was worth it! Hyde park was excellent, really just a big fun fair, but DS really enjoyed it.

Got ESM coming round later to help me finsh my pots of gold for people at work. And DS best mate a little later, both want to go out for lunch and ive said ok, as long as they behave. Ive got to try something, so off into town to check BHS and the pound shop.

Managed to stick to my £100 budget, came in at £100.10 so was chuffed.

Hope everyone is having a good start to the week!
  • Morning Angie

Sounds like you've had a good weekend! Hyde Park sounds lovely, wish I lived a little closer to London (am only an hour away though!)

I've almost finished the present shopping for crimbo - only a few hamper bits to grab tonight or tomorrow. Christmas food shop to do! Will be using all the vouchers I can find - just to keep the price down!

Got a bargain couple of bits to finish of OH's pressies yesterday!! I like the fact that the sales have really started early this year !:T

Well, this is my next to last day at work until the 5th!! I plan to have everything done apart from the housework by crimbo eve and once thats done, the rest of the day will be mine as OH will be at work til 5!! he he he!!! (so should that be ho ho ho?):rotfl:

Have a great day - Am only slightly jealous you are not at work and I am!!
