Helllllllllllooooo!
Well i am having a great start to the New Year. Just got back from work, extra of 8 hrs so far this month.
Also was checking online banking and noticed that the joint account with my dad had money, had a look and its the payment from my mums annuity (sp) so my dad had had £185 and so have i!
Have just paid the payment to argos to stop it going to court, only paid £42.41 but now leaves £440 to be paid when the BG cheque arrives. Have also paid £50 each on Capital One and Vanquis cards. I dont trust myself to save the money until then end of the month so its better its just paid out today.
Have £42.59 left in a savers account so will leave that there for a while.0 -

Hi
Thanks, Yes, 2009 is the year to get rid of the debt for me.
Im lucky ive had a few results with BG and the money today. Usually its big nasty surprises, not nice ones i get.
Maybe its all a sign, lol.0 -
Well today should be a no spend. Really need to have a deep clean before i go back to work and crack on with some ironing.
Will only go to the park later so should be a NSD
So Little List
Wash Up / Put away
Hang Up Washing / do min of 3 today.
Ironing (will do later so i can watch a bit of telly)
DS lunches - have 1/2 a loaf / twinks hobnobs / soups / bananna & choc fairy cakes have all been made and are in the freezer. Just make an extra loaf today slice and freeze - can be used for breakies too.
Scrub bathroom
Sort all clothes - there is loads - cleared out cupboard and found loads, so this should help my 4k challenge, loads in there for summer and should have enough to see me through to then, maybe just the odd top / shirt from primark. Also sort clothes for next week - i WILL be organised!
So really need to get moving, im dreading getting up at 5.50:eek: on Monday.0 -
Morning,
Hopefuly another NSD today, execpt my dad wants to borrow £100. I only have £90 in the bills account to cover my council tax and DWP they total £88. He now thinks that im being funny, but i really dont have it, thinking i should have it, as I got the extra money on Friday from mums annutity and i stupidly told him about the BG cheque. But i used most of MA to pay off some credit cards and i really need to use the BG to say argos.
I could use £100 from the 4K challenge money, but im trying to keep my food down so i could use that extra money for DS birthday.
Oh why is life never that easy?0 -
Have managed to sort the money now. Should be ok as long as i get it back.
Only got a few things to do, going to have roast chicken dinner today with yorkies - found out on xmas day that i can make them!
Will prob stick the stock on today as well and freeze. Still havent sorted clothes out but will to some ironing when the film DS wants to watch comes on soon. (I quite fancy watching it too)
Still need to make another loaf but DS not back at school until tues. So could do it tomorrow on a timer.0 -
I LOVE SNOW! Got attacked by DS though! Still had lumps of ice on me when i got to work!
So the year really has started back here, didnt get in at 8 though because of the snow! Will be on track for the rest of the week though, ots an extra 5 hrs a week if i can do it every day!
BUT my train fare has gone up 20p day! Not very happy as it just blows my budget for travel.
Have bought my lunch in chicken sarnie (leftovers) and a couple of hobnobs!
Need to buy one of those travel coffee mugs today though, def need my coffee when its this cold! And will pop into boots and check out my points!
Have Fun0 -
Well, have spent £16 in boots - all paid with points.
Then got back to work, typed the date and realised its 5 years since my mum died. I cant believe i nearly forgot.0 -
Well stuck to budgets today didnt manage the 7.11 train though. I will tomorrrow. Glad im sticking to budgets but im really feeling rubbish at the moment. Had a day from hell today at work so have started applying for jobs again, kind of just left it as i didnt get any feedback from the last interview. But i think i need this.
I just dont really know what im doing anymore.0
