    Evening all

well work sucks big time!!!! The temp job is hideous and a hedgehog would be able to do it with it's eyes shut, so you can imagine how I'm feeling!!! At least the cash will be handy. It's going into a rainy day day fund once the cc is paid off (not too much left to go now).

saying that though, I am tired enough getting up at 6.30am and not getting home till 6pm. Oh well - won't be for too long. :D

OH has been terribly sweet since the weekend. We had some fabulous news and ever since then he's been very thoughtful, but he has staked his claim to the tv tonight for some football match - he doesn't support either team, but apparently that doesn't matter!!!!!! I'm afriad football's not a game i'm veyr interested in - so think I will pick up my knitting.

thanks Mioliere for posting Aussie's recipe.

Elona - everytime I read your posts you make me salivate over your menu's. Your pea and ham soup was a hit in our house and I've been requested to make more at the weekend :D

need to do a shop - think I'll be lazy and do it online and see if I can find any money-off vouchers :D

    bye for now x

R.mac, I'm nosey, and I'm dying to know the good news. I hope it has something to do with post 271 on TTC thread.:D

I think you need to wake your DD, my DS has just come down stairs to watch the penalties being taken on the bigger tv, I don't like football but this has been a good match so far....whom am I supporting.......Man U, cause I wouldn't say no to Ronaldo if he was to ask me out for a coffee:D

Cor Blimey....alot of collisions in this game, I am not sure if they are time wasting or what, but come on my DS has to get up for school in the morning, and I can't record it cause I don't know how to work the DVD recorder.

P.s. Congratulations to Pen-Pen on your new role.:T

Thats why we are still up - we dont like either team, but i had promised DS that we would watch it, he is footie mad!!!

I guess we are hoping for a Chelsea win, we dont like Man U - so they will prob go and win now!!

Oh, whistles just gone - you had best get your DD for the penalties!!!

Oh well she woke up anyway - something to with me shouting at the telly. I'm neutral in as much as I don't want either to win but am watching/listening as it's the last bit of football for a couple of weeks and I get withdrawal symptoms

Anyhoo - thanks twink for letting us know about PP

sorry i've forgotten everything else - it has taken the whole of the extra time to read two pages.

Apart from the footie I have been mostly having my hair cut by dd(18) - she has put some layers in and I think I hate it - It means that my hair will have to be cut to chin level to make it all one length again so I'll give it a day or two. She has also deflead us as it turns out that dd had headlice - don't know how I missed that as it's a regular sunday night job - suspect that exoh is not bothering on his weekends

    hiya all

thanks for asking about me today, been in a state of panic all day due to the ecg, but thankfully all clear, phew!

been having heart palpitation(sp?) for a few days and had chest pain a week or so ago, didnt let on to anyone though

dr said it was ectopic palpitaions(sp) and if i still had them in a couple of weeks then to go back, blood pressure was high at dr but prob cause i was panicking soo much:rolleyes:

anyway, have to drink more now, saw the difference yesterday when mum made me drink some juice.

dr has advised a lifestyle change, no caffeine, cut back on fizzy juice, more exercise and to lose weight!! as mum has high blood pressure then i have to make changes now as in 10 years time it might be too late.

So im afraid you are stuck with me again, going to start os properly again now, make more meals, make up soups etc for the freezer, will get there with mum helping me:A

also want to say thanks to those that donated for pp's flowers, will pm those on friday with details, bear with me;)

    susie
