Morning peeps
i`ve not been around for a couple of days but i`m back now
Todays meals will be Brekkie - pate on toast
Dinner - Mystery soup
Tea - salad & something from the freezer.
I had a bad day yesterday as the fridge door at w**k had been left open all night so the stuff in there had to be thrown away. I headed off to the shops for something to eat and it was the worst thing that i could have done. I came back with a carrier bag full of food and i ate all of it  I won`t go into too much detail but if i say boxes of crispy pancakes at 8am i`m sure that you will get the idea
Back on the straight and narrow today with a huge line drawn under yesterday.
Toni - sorry to hear that you have even more problems.
Would you be able to ask at the hospital if the phone could be taken away and only be left by the bedside for an hour a day?
When i last went to hospital the visiting was restricted to just 2 people so people had to wait outside and take turns if there were too many, i would suggest it to the hospital if it would help your dad. Hope he improves soon.
SDPlanning on starting the GC again soon0 -
Toni ~ Hope you get it sorted out soon & that your dad can rest.

Morning all
Pinkies crossed for Mr Frogga...
Toniwoty.. i would have a word with the nurses station.... Its crazy isn't it.. its lovely that everyone wants to see him -but why don't they sort out a rota?
At the moment.. my mum visits my sister in the afternoon as everyone else is at work... and its better than my mum being out in an evening anyway... and then she leaves the evenings for her hubby, daughter and then weekends my brothers n sisters go as they are free then..so she gets a steady stream of visitors but not overwhelmed by it all... mind she can hardly stay awake at the moment so some visitors get to watch her sleep :rotfl: . When i spoke to mum yesterday they had drained 6 litres of fluid off  but still going... but she reckons she could get used to lying in bed being waited on hand n foot -if only she didn't have to be ill to get it :rotfl:
Well i have a loaf of bread with fruit, coconut and peel in rising in the bowl... gonna bake it and slice it up into the freezer.... am rather partial to it toasted with a scraping of jam mmmmm
Meals today:-- brekkie - meusli
- lunch- haven't decided yet
- dinner -tortillas filled with hm coleslaw and feta with salad nomnomnom
- snackies..fruit/yogurts...or maybe a tester slice of the fruit loaf
I knitted a little soldier to hang on the xmas tree last night too.. just need to sew him up..so i will do another doll for the tree tonight...ooooh im getting all organised :A :rotfl:
Right i had better get off again..have a great day everyone.. keep at it folks
hello to Taplady, cheerfulness, newlywed, and everyone else... Marie should be back with us soon shouldn't she ?:T-6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.50 -
Morning ladies :hello:
Good luck to Mr Frog!
Toni - as the others suggest, have a word with them at the nurses stationas they usually restrict visitors to 2 to a bed. Hope you have a better day today
((((hugs)))) to everyone who's struggling!
WI tonight  A sneaky peek on my scales this morning looks promising but you never know....
Brekkie was egg on toast, lunch is a HM egg mayo buttie (WW bread, ELF mayo) I'm meeting a friend and it's easier to munch a buttie than a tupperbox full of salad while we gossip;) I've got melon and blueberries for snacks and might have broad bean risotto for tea.
Dancing tonight   YAY!!!I really look forwards to this new class, it's great
MrsM - that bread sounds delicious  but I wouldn't be able to stop at one slice :rotfl:

Hi :hello:
I went for a walk again on monday but now my throat is really sore and my legs are absolutely killing me. So I'm gonna have to rest loadsIt's so annoying - I'd love to be able to just go out and do stuff without suffering for weeks afterwards.
My doctor gave up trying to help with the pain months ago (not that he tried much in the first place) as I've got an appointment with the ME clinic in september. So I've got to wait till then to see if they are gonna be any more help.
I had a bit of choccy last night but apart from that I have done really well the last 2 weeks and havent snacked on biccies and crisps :A I weighed in today and this week I have lost 1lb :j Yay me
Food today:
B: crunchynut cornflakes
L: toastturkey steak & salad wraps
S: yoghurt/ fruit
(((hugs))) Toni
Take care everyone
Nikki

Hi all,
((((hugs))) NIKKI,
Good luck to MR FROGGA
I'm doing OK, had some choccies last night, but otherwise not too bad. I'm trying to lose slowly anyway, cos overdoing it then getting too hungry is my downfall. So I'm taking a very long term view.
Today:
B, museli
L, salad, rollmops and toast
D, s.c. carrot, lentil and tomato soup and price reduced french sticks from freezer.
Snacks, fruit and choccies (left over from yest.--I know I'll eat them so may as well be honest with myself, lol) and 2 rich tea biscs.
So far I've got up too late (stayed up late chatting on msn, tut. tut.) and OH has a cold so it was a restless night. Taken the dog for a walk, and tidied up a bit. I really have to get on with uni stuff, and should do some cleaning....ironing....allotment work....plenty to do anyway, lol.
Thanks again for the lovely welcomes, hope everyone has a good...or at least better day
Jay xxAnytime;)0 -
Morning all
Am at work in an hour so got up nice & early to do my walk :A .
Feeling very positive, am wearing jeans today & can really see an improvement in my thighs.
Good luck to Mr Frog - stay calm Frogga, we've all got our fingers crossed.
Know how you feel Toniwoty, my gran had a mini stroke about a year ago. Next door neighbours meant well but kept constantly popping round in the evening when she was trying to rest. Very awkward.
Food today:
B - 2 shredded wheat & semi skimmed
L - big fruit salad (apples, orange, strawbery) with mullerlite yoghurt
D - no food in house so really no idea! Beans on toast probably!
Have a good day everyone:eek: Total debt £21,000 :eek:Weight loss to date - 2 st, 2lb:j0
