    Morning Folks,

Congrats to all the losers and STS :j :T :j :T

I haven't posrted in a while and consequently i have put about 5lb bk on. So today i am going back on WW points, not going to the meeting or anything but following the books i have at home. My portion control has got out of hand again recently so im hoping this will help keep me on the straight and narrow. i go away in just under 12 wks and i really need to have a couple of stone at least off by then!

B - Shreddies and skim milk

    L - Not sure yet

D - Ham and mushroom tagliatelle with extra mushrooms (nom nom nom)

    Snacks - fruit

Exercise - min 30 mins on exercise bike and tummy crunches, plus 10, 000 steps.

have decided to drop the amount of steps i do for this week to see how it affects my appetite, when i do 15000 im constrantly famished!

have a lovely day everyone, xx

Well done Sleepy Lady. MrsM and SuziD for your slimming awards, you are all doing really well

Hugs to Toniwoty, we all feel for you.

I feel really good today, I think the break from the scales is doing me good. Without the pressure of what I weighed this morning & trying to change it by tomorrow, I can refocus on the long term goal.

Still determined to try & hit my June challenge but won't weigh myself until last week of June.

    Today I'll be having:

    B - 2 x shredded wheat & semi skimmed

    Snack - apple

L - boiled egg & 2 slices of toast. fruit if still hungry

    D - 2 x HM fishcakes & baked beans

Snacks - have mountains of fruit at home so will try & snack on that.

    Have a great day everyone

Thinking of you Toni and your family at this worrying time. Your poor Dad must be feeling really scared and I hope the doc can soon sort him out. ((hugs)).

Frogga a very deserved award, even if you did have to give it to yourself! :D
    Well done Saversarn, bloomin's brilliant :T .
Hello Wellington & Lemonade great to meet you :hello: . Lots of lovely peeps on here to inspire you.

Well me being bossy with my males seem to be working as both DH and DS have shed a few pounds this week. DS4 came shopping with me this morning and was examining labels for content and calories, so he's really taking healthy eating to heart. Anything with artificial sweetners goes straight back on the shelf. That reminds me, I know some of you ladies suffer from IBS so I was wondering if you've heard of coffee causing problems. DS4 has found he gets awful stomach cramps followed by diarrhoea (sorry folks) whenever he has a cup of coffee. It's only happened the last couple of months and I was on the verge of taking him to the doctor when he realised what it was. He was off it for a week and was absolutely fine, then tried a cup of a different brand last night and has suffered since. Very odd.

Talking of odd, can someone please tell me why having been enjoying a flushless, peace and tranquility life I should suddenly start having hot flushes again  . For some reason best know to himself, when I had a hysterectomy 2 years ago, the surgeon left the overies in situ. Being post menopausal I was not impressed as I have no further use for the darn things. Is this my body saying - 'Wa Hay there's life in the old girl yet, better start firing up the old reproduction system again'. Healthy eating and lifestyle has a lot to answer for if so.:rotfl:

Crumbs just seen the time, no wonder the tum is playing the bongos, not had any lunch yet  . Have a great day all.

  • Hello everyone. Toni - I hope you get some good news about your Dad soon - will be thinking of you.

Well done Sleepylady, Mrs M and SuziD on your slimming awards:T :T :T
    and Frogga too;)

I did some flyladying this morning - it is amazing how much better the house looks since I started with flylady. It looks bigger downstairs because of all the clutter I've chucked out! I now need to start on the three bedrooms - have started with DD2's room and that is at the "it looks miles worse before it looks better" stage, but I am waiting for the joiner to come and make me a built in bed for her before I finish it off.

DD1 is being a bit better today - after last nights do, this morning she has a different attitude, saying she doesn't think she will move in with the bf (suspect that he might have discouraged that one as he felt a bit pressured) and she has gone to school to meet with her personal tutor to discuss how to turn things round....

My cousin came to visit this morning and before he came I made a mad dash to Sainsburys to get something for the lunch - I got some king prawns, salad, ciabatta and some TTD fresh strawberries and a melon and also a packet of real ground coffee.
He said he couldn't stay for lunch so I had a lovely lunch of prawns and salad with balsamic dressing - I didn't have any of the ciabatta but froze it to avoid temptation. I didn't have any afters but I had another cup of the ground coffee, mixed with hot milk - it was sooooo nice!

    So, food today:
Breakfast 2 rashers extra lean bacon, 1 slice hi-bran toast and tomatoes
Lunch prawns, salad, 2 slices of hi-bran bread, cup of milky coffee
snack 3 water biscuits, 4 strawberries and slice of melon
Dinner - slimming world quiche (thanks rockie), baked potato, salad, Activia yoghurt, strawberries
    snack nectarine, more melon

By mistake I picked up TTD strawberries in Sainsburys earlier - they were £1 dearer than the ordinary ones but OMG they are sooooooo much nicer - they taste like honey! I think I might get them again, even if it isn't very moneysaving:o

Hope you are all having a good day.
    Jane

I'm battling a seriously munchy mood at the moment- I may be winning or we may have to call it a draw but I'm trying hard not to lose!!!
