Have a good day guys and try to be Just Great today.

I think that is going to be the way forward for me at the moment.... to just think of being 'just great' for the day, one at a time. I seem to have lost my mojo at the moment. :o

Doing my cross stitch while watching a movie last night did help....very relaxing, too as I'm not needing to rush with it.
Trouble is I ate too much turkey and was really pogged. Wasn't even all that nice so I don't know why I had to keep eating more in the hope that I'd suddenly decide it was delicious and not a waste of money.

Anyways.... a frogga says, Monday is an excellent day for new beginnings so I shall start a fresh today along with anyone else that needs a new beginings. ;)

    Food today:
Too full for breakfast so will have fruit when I need something.
Toast with cheese spread, rocket, tomato, black pepper and salad cream.
Meat pudding, cabbage, carrots and gravy.

    Snacks - apples and prunes.

Off to put a loaf on. With DS1 home I've been rushed off my feet making the white bread for the lads. He eats masses but glad hes eating again so won't complain. Today I'm not going to bed until that seedy loaf of mine is finally made. Determined this time. :p

Be happy everyone and have a great day.

    Hya Folks

Glad to see that lots of you are doing so well, (((hugs))) to all that aren't....actually (((hugs))) to everyone!

Well, I have to draw a line under the last couple of weeks. I have been so bad..eating the wrong things, and on Friday last, pigging out,...can't remember when I last did that. No matter what I ate, I just wanted to eat more and more...I went to bed late and with two Rennies to try and counteract the carp that I had stuffed myself with!

So today I am to start again. I am back to where I was weigh-wise a month ago...aaargh, well slightly less, I am JUST under 20 stone (0.6 lb!), so hopefully I will not be seeing the 20s again...I am determined this time!

Off to get some things done in the garden this morning as I am working 2 to 9 today. Going out first thing is much better...less hot...and you get so much more done!

    Food today:

B: HM Muesli + soya milk & OJ
L: HM soup & HM bread
D: HM Spag bol (when I get home) or sandwich I take to work, not sure which yet

Snacks...fruit I hope...NOT GOING ANYWHERE NEAR THE FLAP JACKS I MADE LAST NIGHT!!!!!

Will drop in later in the week, have a good week everyone.

Off to be "Just Great" today!

    M

I guess I need to concentrate more on my sewing and stuff. This weekend finished a couple of things and started a little black and sparkly bolero thing for dd to wear over her ball gown. Just have to set the sleeves now, maybe should do that to avoid eating too much at lunchtime. Don't think I have much in that's suitable, need some salads I think.

Sorry about last night's depressed message, but my weight is going up at the mo. I have eaten so much carp in the last couple of weeks including the chocolate that friend brought from Germany. Also done lots of baking as well, puds after meals. Not excuses, just what has happened. I got on the scales this morning and they registered 81+. I was below 80 a few weeks ago.

Holidays calling, 17th July, is that 4 weeks on Thursday.

Had oats this morning with pineapple on. Banana in my bag in case I need it.
Lunch will be something healthy if I can find it!
Dinner should be fine, but don't know what yet.

I have some diet med left from before but don't really want to use it, as it disrupts my sleep pattern, I feel as if I should do it on my own.

On Friday I walked from the hospital to work and then home again.

Today I CYCLED!!!! to work! Not too bad, but wig felt a bit insecure.

Feel really lardy today but not really sure why. Maybe I just overate yesterday as alot of the food I had was hard to portion so I might have slipped or it could just be that damn cupcake has made me feel crappy :(

Anyway, positivity is the key, I am hoping to get on with some Wii boxing when I get home tonight to maybe kick-start my loss again so fingers crossed

B: Nothing yet, can't face porridge because its boiling in work
L: Leftover spicy rice and HM coleslaw
    D: Scouse with beetroot

No snacks today, need to be really tight with my portion control as I think I may have become too blase about it

    Morning all.

Yep agree with frogga, seems like a good day to start with renewed effort :o

So breakfast today was oats soaked in cherry juice with lots of tinned black cherries. I agree too hot for porridge so taken to soaking oats overnight in the fridge instead.

Snacks are an apple (eaten already :o)
Lunch is chicken breast wrapped in bacon with salad.

Tea will be pearl barley and veg stuffed peppers (in the slow cooker) (well peppers were 35p in Tesco and I went a bit mad - and had pearl barley in the cupboard to use up) with chicken breasts.

Went up the garden centre at the weekend and bought spinach seeds and rocket seeds. Sewed them into two pots which are now on the kitchen window ledge (nice and warm and sunny). OH has spinach with his tuna salad every day for lunch, as well as two small chicken and rocket salads (he does this eating protein every 3 hours thing), so we always seem to be buying the stuff.

The rocket seeds seem to be sprouting already there were a couple on the top of the soil (had a bit of an accident and tipped too many into the pot so not sure what to do). Will let them grow a bit and see how many I get and then split and repot them. Can't plant them in the garden yet - we are busy clearing it ready for some decking and then when that's done, need to clear all the borders of weeds etc :o

So Rockie - can I have your rocket soup recipes please???? ;) They sound really good.

    Hello:j

Sorry haven't posted over the weekend, I really never have time to come on here much.

I haven't been so good over the weekend so trying to make up for it this week by not snacking as much.

B - nothing wasn't hungry and felt sicky (to-much-us-drink-us, last night lol)
    L - carrot soup
    T - roast chicken dinner.
    Grocery Challenge. £400. - £35.22 + £19.80 + £109.01 = £164.03
    Other spends (Clothes Luxuries etc)£11.97 + £1.19 + £7.36 + £69.00 + £38.50 + £5.50 + £23.00 +£2.00 = £158.52:shocked::sad:

    Morning folks:hello:
Apart from the buttered roll that leapt into my mouth last night  I was good, I’d buttered 2 for OH but he only ate one and it wouldn’t be OS to throw it away…………………..

Boiled eggs and soldiers this morning, SW quiche and salad for lunch, stuffed BNS fro tea – I’ve roasted the squash so it just needs warming up with the spicy couscous stuffing.
I’ve run out of fruit so will have to nip to the canteen for some to see me through the day

Well done to the losers and (((((hugs))))) to those who are in need of one:grouphug:

MrsM - Most of my tree decs are hand knitted :D Snowmen and women, elves, fairies, Mr and Mrs Christmas and candycanes :D I made then all about 5 years ago and they keep coming out. I've got the Jean Greenthingy book.........mmmmm, might have to get it out and make a few more :T
