Well done floyd and catznine. keep it up girls. :T :T :T
Thanks for the encouragement Recovering. In all honesty I'm not all that brave and feel like crawling into the cupboard and rocking backwards and forwards some days.
But I am managing not to eat the house out so that's something.
I think Tescos is ripping you off over the ducks eggs. I can't believe that price. They are 12 for £2.40 at my farmers market, although I was later getting there today and had to pay £2 for 8 at another stall. (no way was I coming home without any. )
They are MASSIVE - much bigger than even the jumbo eggs that you can buy so don't be fooled into buying silly little ones. Shame on Tescos!
Going to have a nice Ham Salad with my home cooked gammon and some of my salad leaves that are going nuts in the garden. Think I will finally get back to baking my seedy bread again, I really miss it. Organization is the key, isn't it? and organized I've not been of late. How do you lot manage it so well?
Off to have a cuppa with DH while things are a bit quiet.MAY GROCERY CHALLENGE £0/ £250

I was flicking through the paper this morning and came across this :
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/health/main.jhtml?xml=/health/2008/06/14/hsweeteners14.xml
Considering some of us have decided to shun diet products and eat less of the normal stuff (well try to) we may be right, and I'm sure it's cheaper than buying all the 'diet' stuff.
I did ww, and maintaining now - I used have some of the cakes and biscuits, but they were sooo sweet and really it wasn't much use if I just ate more of the ww cakes (and not very mse!)
Anyway good luck everyone - not sure how my jij will go .. so far the wrong way, oh well, 6 days to next WI!
Good luck everyone and well done the losses:T :T0 -
Hi guys,
eating plans for yesterday went completely out of the window as I had a really late lunch at work. Ate more than planned at lunch & then wasn't very hunfry in the evening.
Went for my walk which is getting faster every day :j . Also hired Natalie Cassidy's workout video. I'm usually very cynical of celeb workouts but its actually pretty good. Did warm up & fat burning but had to skip the last section as too knackered!
Food today:
B - 2 shredded wheat & semi skimmed
L - 2 pitta breads filled with salad, chicken slices & small amount of extra light philadelphia
Snack - apple
D - SW chips & beans
Chinese tomorrow for fathers day so I guess thats monday weigh in ruined! :rotfl::eek: Total debt £21,000 :eek:Weight loss to date - 2 st, 2lb:j0 -

Evening all,
So sorry to hear your sad news Agapanthus, thinking of you.
Great big congrats to losers, well done to STS's and encouraging thoughts to those who are struggling, you can do it!
Completely deviated from norm today and weighted myself as I've been trying out different things this week and having fruit salads after our evening meals which I don't normally do. I feel turbo charged at the moment too, which is fantastic after last months yucky virus. Anyway I'm pleased to announce a 3lb loss, which is my June target!!!!!!!!!! :j :T And there's still two weeks to go. This also meens I'm now in single figures (9lbs) to reaching my final target weight, yippee!! You lot have truely inspired me to keep plodding on and even changing the whole families eating habits. Thank you all.
Have printed a copy of the article, Iainz looks very interesting, will read it after Doctor Who.
Have a good weekend all.

Evening all :hello:
I've had a nice relaxing day, the only housework I've done is change the beds!
Had a wander to Ikea and bought a lovely big frypan with a lid, a smaller saute pan and a nice wine glass
Lunch was jacket and beans, tea was SW quiche made with onions, garlic and rocket from the allotment - very tasty! We had it with SW wedges and broad beans and I had stewed plums and yoghurt for pud.:D
I've made some pasta tortilla chips to nibble tonight while I watch Casualty and will christen my new glass with a drop of vino.;)
See you tomorrow folks :A

Hello everyone!:j
I haven't posted since Tuesday I think. I haven't had much time to get on here and everytime I do, by the time I've tried to catch up with reading the posts, I've run out of time to post myself!:D
So I give up and I'll just have to apologise if I've missed anything important - (((HUGS))) to those that need them and congrats to losers!:T
I've been good, I've been good (jumps up and down clapping hands with excitement) - I didn't get on here yesterday but did weigh myself and I've lost another 3lbs! I'm not quite sure how its working but,I have been eating healthily, I've had no binges and I've been doing lots of running so it seems like something has finally clicked in my metabolism and the weight is shifting! Hurrah! In previous months it didn't seem to matter how good I was, the weight barely moved and then I get disheartened and binge - NO MORE!I hope!
