Just been in France for three weeks and put on a couple of pounds.
Then I had to dash back because my Mum was dying (she was 89, but it's still not a good time). Having got back from France we've now lost my daughter's cat - who we were looking after while she went on holiday. The worry of all that has caused me to lose more than I put on, but I'd rather have kept the weight and not had the other two events...If we are supposed to be thin, why does chocolate exist?0 -
aww sorry to hear that, hope your doing ok, dont worry about the weight just now, just take care of yourself, hugs xx0

Hello everyone - well done to Sleepy, Queenpig and OGITH on your losses.
Agapanthus - so sorry to hear about your Mum - there is not much anyone can say really but it must be a hard time for you.
Suzid - thanks for the nomination!
Eating today has not been as good as yesterday but not too bad. I overdid the bread with lunch and pinched a few oven chips with tea. I really feel the difference from yesterday so I am sure that bread and too much carbs really don't agree with me but they taste so NICE!
Well - hope you are all having a good evening - telly is rubbish tonight!Jane

Hello
Well done to all the loses :T  :j  :T and STS.
Am feeling a lot better with myself atm. Am eating lots of fruit instead of being a piggy in the evenings. Have not WI today as I did on Wed, will wait until next fri.
DH was home early from work today, bit too early at 10am, DD had only woken up at 9.30am and were still having breakkie and not dressed. Anyway, DH came with us to a new indoor activity play area thingie and then we went to TGi's for lunch. Had a cajun chicken baguette which was lovely. No desert :A and just had lots of fruit for tea.
Am going out for pub lunch with my M&D tomorrow and then a BBQ at DH's M&D on Sunday so am going to try to be good. Will have my normal bran twigs for breakkie and prob fruit for other meals when not out stuffing my face.
Hope everyone has a fab weekend0 -
Morning all,
Agapanthus - So sorry to hear what a horrible time you've had of it. ((hugs))
Well done to all the losers yesterday, of which there seemed to be loads. :j :T :T :j
Still not back on form myself weightwise and have just lost 1/4 lb this week.I cannot get myself disciplined enough to write my food diary and that is the main thing that keeps me focused. Also reading this thread keeps me motivated and I've not had the chance to do that as much as usual. Its so irritating. This is the 9th week in the '18s' and I'm sick of them now but I seem to have hit the wall that I used to have with the '20s'. Still, I guess I broke through that in the end.
Off to the farmers market with DH and mum this morning so I'll finally have my beloved duck eggs back again. :j
Somehow I will have to stick to my menu plans this week and have a really good loss next week as I've not just knocked 1/4 lb off my 10lb target for this month (with just 2 weeks to go  ). I'm thinking I may not make it this time.
Take care everyone and have a lovely weekend.MAY GROCERY CHALLENGE £0/ £250

Morning all,
Just a quick one, I'm pretty much out all weekend as I'm off diving in a gravel pit somewhere in the South!! Bet you're all jealous:rolleyes:. Anyway I still ache like hell from my nordic pole lesson with the sadistic swede on thursday night, so I'll never be able to carry my scuba unit:eek:
Can't eat first thing so had a smoothie, then possibly a bacon butty later and a curry tonight- Jeeez I just want to get through today:D
Love to all and be 'Just Great'0 -
Morning everyone! Feeling much better today. Some kind folk on freecycle are giving me a fishing rod to replace the one that was pinched so faith in human nature restored. :j
