I'm now on day 4 of sensible healthy eating. I've just chopped up some strawberries for snacks today.
My ds (3 1/2) seems to be going through a horrible defiant phase at the moment. I hope it's a short one. He's also turned into a dictator, snapping out orders faster than I could carry them out (if I wanted to even try, which I don't:rotfl: ). I will not give in to stress or comfort eating. DH is due home in about 4 weeks, so I'm just holding onto that thought.
Take care all of you0 -
Brilliant losses suzi and superspam. Well done. :T :T
Just had my duck egg and fingers for breakfast so I'm a happy girl.
Will have something really light for lunch - grapefruit and cream cheese on crackers I think and then having turkey for tea. (Bought the most enormous turkey leg from the farmers market).
Have a lovely Sunday everyone. Friends arriving in 45 mins and house needs tending. So wish I'd kept up with my flylady routine.

Hi all, off out today for a walk in Cheshire by Delamere forest. Hopefully the rain will hold off because if it doesn't I can see us ending up in a pub somewhere along the way
B: Nothing, lie in instead
L: Pub lunch so probably something with too many calories in it!HM Chicken burritos and spicy rice with coleslaw
Have a great day all, congrats to all the losers0 -
Hello folks :hello:
I was good last night, I had my HM tortilla chips with my glass of wine as planned.
Brekkie today was poached egg and mushrooms on toast, I've just had HM tomato and rocket soup for lunch with a small roll.
Not sure about tea, OH is working and they go out for a Sunday lunch so I might make myself some roast veggies with polenta or stuffed BNS....... will decide later.
I'm going to do a bit of cleaning today, I did nothing yesterday and you can tell
See you later folks :A0 -
Hello everyone - well done Superspam on the 3lbs loss:T
I had a lie in this morning so didn't have any breakfast, but have just had a really lovely lunch of hm boiled ham, salad and a pickled egg, with a small spelt flour roll, which I got in Sainsburys, followed by a strawberry Activia yoghurt. I haven't had the Activia strawberry before and it was lovely! Sooooo much nicer than the mullerlight ones - thicker and not as artifical tasting. I just read the side of the pot and it is a smaller serving size but has only 18 calories more than a mullerlite and the ingredient list is miles shorter - no artificial sweetner.
I started to re-arrange DD2's room yesterday and am sorry I started now! It is at the stage where it looks much worse before it gets better IYKWIM. I don't mind doing her room as she keeps it reasonably tidy - unlike DD1!
I cooked a big chicken yesterday and have just steamed and mashed a load of carrot and swede, which I will micro when I serve the chicken in a roast dinner later. I am not going to do potatoes with the dinner though - just some yorkshire puddings - I made them last time and only barely greased the fairy cake tins and put them in from cold and they were the biggest crunchiest yorkies I have ever made - just did 2 eggs, 2oz plain flour and 140 ml milk and a pinch of salt. It made 10 and they worked out at 42 calories each.
Hope you are all having a great Sunday!Jane

Hi All,
Well done on the weight losses Suzi and Superspam.
I've been busy cooking this morning and trying not to check my ebay account every 5 minutes. The auctions end from 6pm onwards and I've sold at least 6 items. I've also sold 3 things on Amazon since I listed a load yesterday. As OH also had a mammoth listing day and has sold at least 5 items we are going to be busy packing everything up this evening and I shall have a pile of stuff for the PO tomorrow. At least it keeps my mind off food!!
When I was sorting through my books I found an old Jean Greenhowe book of patterns for knitted toys so have decided to get my knitting needles out again. The last time I did any knitting was for DD as a baby and she is now 23. My Mum is a keen knitter and I gave her a ring this morning and asked her to send me a load of oddments. I've decided to knit the scarecrow from her book as a present for OH's grandson. I've missed his birthday so will do it for Christmas. I am keen to get out of the kitchen and away from food as much as possible.
DS and fiancee are here as usual for a meal this evening, which I have already prepared. It just needs heating up and the vegetables. We often have a roast but I have gone for another of his favourites which is cheese and bacon pie.
B: Muesli mixed with fruit and fibre, skimmed milk and raisins. Orange juice.
L: Last of my HM tortilla wraps with chicken and avocado. Banana.Cheese and bacon pie, peas, mushrooms. Raspberry yoghurt.

Gosh it's quiet on here today!
I've cleaned right through today and had a little walk round the shops - OH 'needed' another hosepipe for the lotty
Ive made 2 big pans of soup - tomato, carrot and rocket which was nice and pea and rocket which was absolutely scrummy :T :T They're cooling to go in the freezer but I still haven't made a very big dint in the rocket glut
I had a really nice tea, loosely based on a meal I had in a very posh restaraunt once,
roasted veggies on grilled polenta with a dollop of HM raita and drizzled with balsamic syrup  Free on SW (balsamic syrup would be negligable 'cos I only had a little drop) I'll definitely have that again
Hope everyone's had a nice weekend :A
