Morning all!
welcome to all the newbies!:hello:
frogga - there was an interesting programme on sky yesterday about a binge eater, missed the end but she only bought food for 1 meal at a time and couldn't bear to have anything else in the house as she was so petrified of bingeing. A phsyologist was brought in and taught her to squirt washing up liquid on any food she was tempted to binge on to give the control back to her. Wish I'd seen it all now.
Had my weigh in last night and was pleased to have lost half a pound this week.:j
Food for today
B - mini shredded wheats with skimmed milk and a few raisins
L - potato waffles and poached egg (thanks for the idea droopy drawers and pebbles:T )with some spaghetti hoops

Quickie from me today - busy!
I was good last night, the monster visited  but I ignored him and went to bed:D
Boiled eggs and soldiers for brekkie, cottage cheese and egg salad for lunch, melon for snoacks and bubble and squeak with giant mushrooms for tea
WI tonight  I'm desperatly hoping for a SS as I was such a piggy at the weekend but I'll probably have a gain *sigh*
I do feel a bit more positive today though, I went to Asda last night and got a couple of t-shirts for my hols and tried on some lovely linen trousers in a size 14(being pear-shaped means I'll never be anything smaller) I would have bought them but didn't have enough cash on me and I think I've seen some similar in Matalan for less.:money:
Right, back to work, see you later folks :A0 -
Are potato waffles good then? If so I will get some as I love a potato fix with my eggs - but chips are a bit of a no-no. Obviously
. if i can get a hint of chip some other low-cal way i will be a happy bunny!

Hi All...
Struggling a bit if I'm honest--no real point in lying is there:o I've got a thing for starch at the mo. It was cornflakes by the skip-load last week & now it's bread.
It's following the way I used to be around totm but being a laydee of a certain age, I'd thought I'd have left all that behind...or is that more wishful thinking:mad:
On a good point, I've discovered that the MrT "Local Choice" milk is really lovely& I can drink the skimmed as is, if so inclined, & currently 2p per 2pts cheaper than the standard. I also did two hours of graft in the garden yesterday so I've increased the exercise a wikkul bit too.
Gunna have to go search out some info on those flippy floppers methinks, but in all honesty I'm looking for new shoes anyways so could still be classed as :money: if they are not  prices.

Taplady makes SW chips, not sure how they are done but they can't be terrible as she has done so well.... I'm sure she'll enlighten you later:D
waffles are not too bad at all if you oven bake them. I make SW chips all the time and they're fab. peel your spuds and slice into chips then parboil them for about 5 mins then drain and give them a bit of a shake in the pan - like you do with roasters Place on a baking sheet and spray with fry light spray then bake in a hot oven for about half an hour or so giving them a turn to make sure they cook evenly. you can also make wedges this way but leave the skin on for extra taste. HTH;)Do what you love :happyhear0 -

I thought that too as I'm a definite pear shape but am now in a 12:j I have huge hips but a small waste so have trouble getting any trousers to fit properly - most of them are big round the middle!
Good luck with STS at SW tonight!;)Do what you love :happyhear0 -
Hello all.
Toni, I was wondering where MrsM is as well. I made my first ever bread yesterday thanks to her and it is scrummy. DS1 gave me 11/10 for it (although DS2 only gave me 0.5 but he's poorly with the squits at the moment so obviously his tastebuds are affected!). DS3 can't get enough of it. What a success:T
Breakfast this morning was just one slice of it with marmite on...yum...
Lunch will be some left-over roast veg from dinner last night with a small jacket pot.
Dinner will be sweet and sour veg I think with rice.
I would also be very interested in how to make these SW chips I keep reading about Taplady (just read your previous post - I must have been typing this when you posted. I'll try those at the weekend, thanks). Oh, and well done on your loss:T every little bit helps.
Off to make lunch now and then I've got to sort out the floats for the PTA Summer Fare tomorrow - looks as though it's going to be another wet one this year:mad: hate this weather.
I'm going to Aqua tonight at the gym to hopefully burn some calories off. It's my WD tomorrow but I'm not very hopeful as I wasn't very good at the weekend - meal at Pizza Express and then breakfast in the hotel on Sunday morning at which I not only ate my fried bread but all the kids' as well as they didn't like it:o
Keep it up everyone.0
