Welcome clairefun:hello: and a great big well done you to Juliav:T for the fabby loss, and nikki :T for getting out and about x
My halo's slipped so far this week I'm nearly tripping over it!! Knew I wouldn't be able to keep up last week's good work once I got back to the office. I was pretty good Monday, on a bit of a high after my weigh in I suppose, but some inconsiderate so and so restocked the bickie tin yesterday (not even particularly nice bickies, but they were THERE!), and a selection of cream cakes appeared for someone's birthday mid morning today, about 10 minutes after I'd scoffed three and a half fruit shortcakes and a bourbon with my cuppa. Had a vanilla slice to be polite.... yummy but felt thoroughly sick after and had to nip out for a packet of cheese and onion to take away the sweetness:o .
Tea was poached egg and beans on potato waffles.
Had planned a walk for this evening but it's raining so looks like a nice long bath and the Apprentice in my pj's is on the cards instead:D .
Have a good evening all!0 -
hi everyone i've been lurking for quite a while now, just wondered if i could join in. i've tried and failed miserably to shed my last stone of baby weight for the past year now and i've decided enough is enough. i want it gone for good. i've been reading this thread for quite a while now and i cant believe how well everyone is doing. i am in desperate need of some motivation.
My starting weight is 10st 11 and aim to get back down to 9st 11
This is my pledge - to walk 10,000 steps every day - i've just got myself a new pedometer - and to do 100 sit ups everyday. anyone care to join me?
also i've just ordered myself a pair of fitflops, does anyone kon if they're any good or acctually work?£387.39/£196.46

Angel Nikki - Well done, just try wee bit further each day, you will get there :T
NickyNoo - Hello and welcome, i am a member of a walking website and their are rave reviews about the fitflops on there, apparently they take a wee bit of getting used to but you dont half feel the difference in your legs (they work a bit like MBT trainers)
DroopyDrawers - mmm poached egg, beans and waffles
had quietish day, spent this morn repotting in my apotment, my cucumber plants are starting to put tendrils out so i have put some canes in them to help, same with my aubergines, lots of my plants have flowers on (toms, auber, strawbs, peppers) so i am hoping it is not too soon before i start to see mini fruit!!! this heat and now the rain we have got should certainly help!
have a lovely evening everyonePlease be nice to all moneysavers!

Well done Nikki and Julia! Gosh, everyone's very motivated at the mo. :j
The last couple of days since weigh-in I've slipped a bit, but not binged. Today had porridge at 5am, followed by second brekkie/lunch at 10ish of 2 fried eggs with baked beans and potato wedges. Dinner was linda mcartney burger with coleslaw and packet of minstrels.
So need to get back on track tomorrow and track down a pedometer. i'm usually out and about for 2-3 hours a day so will be interesting to see how many steps I usually do in a day.
OH claims he is going to get up with the baby tomorrow and give me a lie-in! About f**kin time! Maybe I will have some energy for situps.2015 wins: Jan: Leeds Castle tickets; Feb: Kindle Fire, Years supply Ricola March: £50 Sports Direct voucher April: DSLR camera June: £500 Bingo July: £50 co-op voucher0 -
Evening All
Haven't been posting for nearly a week. Have just felt a bit down in the dumps. Have felt better the past couple of days though, have eaten loads of lovely fruit and no carp, have got back into eating my bran twigs in the morning and can say that I have been regular for the first time in ages.
I got on the scales this morning and I had lost 1lb. Friday is my normal WI day but as I didn't WI last week I thought I'd WI early this week
. Will sort myself out next week  .
Nickynoo - I'm trying to lose the last stone of baby weight too, although my baby is 3 in a couple of months. Am finding it very hard not to scoff her leftovers and find I never walk that much other than at toddler speed. Good luck with your walking and your 100 sit ups  .
Well done to all the losers and those who have weigh in's tomorrow and over the weekend0 -
Morning Peeps,
Feel SO TIRED this morning! Need to wake myself up a bit me thinks, will go and hop in the shower in a mo.
Had a chat with RS yesterday and explained that even a very little thing could spoil my being good. I have 4 nuts and a piece of fruit for a snack once a day, but if I was to have 5 nuts it would trigger a binge.
When I thought about what I'd said it sounded absolutely potty  but it is true. If I'd have 5 nuts the world might fall in. So..................... last night to try and break this stupid obbsessive habit, I had 5 cashew nuts with my satsuma  and the world didn't fall in AND I didn't binge either
As small a thing as that was it is a massive breakthrough for me so I'm really chuffed with meself :T Might go mad today and have lunch at 12.05 instead of 12, but maybe not, no need to go mad is there?
Right, now off to hop in the shower before the tadpoles get in there.

Morning everyone,
Up bright and early today, last day at w**k then 3 off <dances round>:D
The bad news is that all that horrible house w**k is waiting but at least i get a lie in.
The meeting yesterday went ok, had a tuna wrap for lunch with salad but i ate a pack of crisps and a twix, the choccie biccies were on a plate right in front of me so i gradually worked my way through them
Was better at tea time though as i only had salad with cottage cheese, i won`t get weighed for a couple of days or i`ll want to scream.
Brekkie today is pate on toast, dinner will be cereal and i`m planning salad for tea but not sure what we will be having with it. I`m gonna be good today:D
Nix - how are you getting on with the weights?
OOh and before i forget welcome to Clairefun & Nikkinoo:wave:
Well done Girl least likely to & juliav on your losses:j
I`d best go and do some w**k now, i`ve been on here long enough:o
Have a good day everyone.
SDPlanning on starting the GC again soon0 -
HI all!
Welcome you new folk! Nikkinoo - those fit flops look ace! the trainers they had on GMTV seemed really effective - I understand how they give your calves a good work out, but not how it helps the rest of you - let us know how you get on!
Am away from lunchtime today until Next Weds, but will try, try try and be good!
Today:
B: 1/2 baguette with 1/2 tin of baked beans
L: no idea - but as eating out I think perhaps a lite 6 inch subway?late night group curry - chicken balti and boiled rice
Am going to be over, calorie wise today, but won't have much time to eat for the next couple of days so think it'll all balance out!
OOOOH - Weigh in - lost 2 pounds!!!! xx0 -
