Hello folks:j
Been to my daughter's (she who is 5'8" and a size 8-10:mad: )
She works with a woman who goes from 10's to 16's and spends loads on clothes so she's always passing stuff on to daughter 'cos it doesn't fit. She gave me a skirt and a top - both new, skirt from Wallis size 14 and top is a 12........................THEY FIT AS IF THEY'D BEEN MADE FOR ME:j :j :j
It's not an outfit I'd normally look twice at but it looks really nice :T :T :T
I think I've found my incentive to stick to the diet folks!
I have been tempted today but haven't given in, I had spinach and chickpea balti for tea (Cauldron  not very OS) and a bag of crisps at daughters but I shared them with GS:D

Well serves me right i suppose.

Toni - I checked the new list and sorry but you have only put me down for 1lb loss this week instead of the 4lb which amazingly I did lose (I might never manage that again!;):rotfl: )
Well done to all the "losers" and maintainers!

Hello everyone - Beanielou - sorry abou the little gain - it will come off next week!
Rosewood - thanks for the reminder about the NLP - I have thought about doing this for some time now and am going to have a scout round and see if I can find some books and /or a practitioner in my area.
Rockie - well done on fitting into the size 12's!
Today has been okay - I was really busy with flylady all morning and into this afternoon so all was well with food, but then tonight I came in from taking DD2 to swimming to find DD1 lying on the couch on the phone (our landline to bf's mobile  ) laughing her head off while water was cascading through the kitchen ceiling from the bathroom above where she had left the bath running AND the shower above on full. There was water everywhere and I had to run round with tubs to catch the drips and towels to mop up and ex OH, who happened to call in, had to isolate the electrics. She wasn't even bothered - just came off the phone and put on her ipod and started singing. Both ex OH and I both got very upset - he started shouting and I was just upset but it had no effect - she swanned off out and that was that! Anyway - no electrics meant no cooker so we had to have a sandwich tea and I had a bowl of cereal, too much bread and some crisps which wasn't great, but I didn't have any other binge food in the house so I had two nectarines and a cup of cappucino for afters so all in all not great but could have been MUCH worse. I think the flylady thing is helping me and had DD1 not done that with the bathroom I think I would have been fine. Teenagers! I will have to get someone to re-seal the bath too, because it has all cracked with the weight of all the water.
Oh yes - My sister's carer is a great knitter and she is going to show me how to increase and decrease etc so I can start knitting the Jean Greenhowe Nativity Set - I can't wait! Anyone know good cheap places for wool?
Well hope you have all had a nice evening.Jane

Morning Peeps,
Beautiful morning here and gonna make the most of it as my friend at work heard that today was said to be the last day of summer
Love the poem ME :T
THANKS for that Rose, I had never thought of it like that ~ but it does make sense :T I am MUCH better when I'm busy and got stuff to do rather than when I'm bored. ATM I seem to have LOADS on my plate (not literally;) ) so that is defo working. I leave work for the summer in 2 weeks so I'll have to keep busy with the garden and do the fly lady like RS.
OMG RS  THe things you have to put up with :grouphug: Hope Niagra has calmed down and you mopped up successfully. Speak later my friend xx
