    Morning all!

I like your 'saying something positive' idea, Ms Frogga - will have a think about that when I get to work! Congratulations to all you losers!! I won't be able to have my weigh-in day on Friday as am working away Thurs-Sunday in a field (!), so will weigh in tomorrow morning instead.

Had 'Southern Fried' flavoured Quorn burgers last night, in 1 roll with salad and corn - one of my favourites, but 2 hours later I was struck with the worst crippling stomach ache / chest ache i've ever had - heartburn presumably, but it sure was crippling! Had 2 Ibuprofen, several gulps of Galvison and OH had to put me to bed. Feel good today, but bad that I didn't get round to any 'rebounding' yesterday and that I was a miserable grump with OH. Today = new day.

B: 1 slice white toast with few spoons of baked beans, glass of Copella Apple Juice.
    S: plum
L: plain salad, 1/2 a corn on the cob, Extra Cup A Soup, pear
    S: plum
D: 80/100g wholewheat pasta with smidgen of pesto

May have a Fab ice lolly for desert, as we have some in the freezer and they're only 70 cals and rather delicious. Am really swearing by that Thedailyplate website at the moment to help me keep track of things!

Have a lovely day you all xx

Good morning! Not been on this thread for ages. I think last time I said hello it was Weight Loss OS Part 2.

Anyway, please forgive me, as while I have been away, I appear to have sinned. I am at my heaviest (again) for a long time, and need to come on here for some inspiration with meal planning and eating for weight loss.

In the past month I have been exercising quite a lot, going to the gym between 2-3 times a week and going on mountain bike rides of at least 10 miles (sometimes 20) at the weekend. I have now been rewarded with a weight GAIN of 5lb!

There are still a few faces around that I recognise, so morning all!

Frogga - nice to hear you sounding so positive :D

I was good last night :D I had a wobble but went and plucked my eyebrows to take my mind off it and it worked :T

Been for a swim before work this morning  and have had soaked oats, yoghurt and berries and 2 likkle nanas.

Lunch is pasta, roasted veg and salad with melon and strawberries for snacks.
Tea will be decided later, I'm calling to see the grandkids tonight so won't get my tea until 7ish and it needs to be quick  !

Something positive about me...............I'm a good cook :T and I have nice hair :D
    Will that do??

    See you later folks :A

    Hi All,

Been away from the PC for the weekend as I'm doing my scuba diving exams at the moment. So Toni I won't be near my official scales till June 21st but don't write me off yet please:D
I've been fairly good really I think, but it is going really slowly:rolleyes:
I too have been keeping track with The daily plate since oooo Feb 14th, I've lost 17lbs since then:o I'm not going to win any races but with 9lbs left to go it can take a while;)

Frogga, one thing I am good at is floating ( I can float on water happily for hours) I'm also good at mental arithmatic (not good at then doing anything useful with it hence being on this here site:rolleyes: )

Be Just Great today my friends

Hullo guys, big hugs to one and all

Quickie to say do you think the board goddesses would let us have a Weight Loss Monthly thread? That way the thread size would stay manageble and it would make it easy for Toniwoty to update us on our monthly target.........that sound like a good idea? Or not?

Had a complete splurge again this weekend and Aunt Flo has finally arrived so I am round like a drum right now and retaining water for Britain. However its all good because it'll come off in a couple of days/weeks and as long as the trend keeps creeping downwards then I am not gonna freak about it. Besides Nipper came up to me yesterday, poked me in the ribs and said 'yep, you're deffo not as fat as you were Mum' :p

Still plugging away at the X trainer every week day (weekends have been a wickle bit norty recently), doing 2x50 crunches, walking lunges and drumroll please, I can now do 15 push ups! Proper ones! LOL. Well, I was impressed with myself. Gonna split them into 3 sets and keep trying to do more. Really looking forward to measuring myself in a couple of weeks time as I am starting to see the difference in my clothes now, only a little bit but it's happening.

One good thing about me? Only one? ;) Errrrrrrrrrm, I have very shapely ankles, will that do?

Mucho love and support to you all, I'm not posting much but don't think that means I'm not here, I am lurking like a lurky thing. Mwah! xx

    Hi :hello:

Well done everyone on your losses this week :T :T

Nix143 I agree with you - a monthly thread would be a good idea.

This has been my first week and I've Lost 2 lbs yay me!! :):) I didn't think it would be that much as Ive had to have some choccy for medicinal purposes (TOTM) so I'm quite surprised & pleased. :)

 Do most people on here weigh in on a certain day each week? Or should I stick to Tuesdays? and whats JIJ?

    Food today
    B: 1 weetabix with raisins & OJ
    L: 2 slices toast
    S: apple
    D: easy peasy pasta

Have a good day everyone :)

  • Hello everyone - managed to get through yesterday on track foodwise so that is day one out of the way. I think the flylady thing helped as I was on the go all day cleaning and sorting out so I didn't think about food. I had to be at the hospital this morning for a scan of my fibroids (was okay) so I had a hm smoothie with banana at about 8ish and then came home after scan and got stuck into the bathroom and front room (dining room/computer room and general dumping ground). Have just about finished now and haven't had the urge to binge at all so that's good.

Good idea about the one positive thing Frogga - mine is that I have nice hair - I always get it highlighted and keep it styled nicely (shame I don't pay the same attention to my body!).

Food today is uncertain ATM. I have just got some extra lean pork escalopes out of the freezer so may cook them with salad and new potatoes for tea.
Lunch may be a salad or another smoothie - don't know yet but I am actually a bit hungry now so a smoothie might not fill me up enough to keep the binge monsters at bay.

Bobbadog - I can't eat quorn as it gives me the worst wind/indigestion you can imagine! I don't mind though because it is rank in all its forms!

Hope you are all enjoying the sunshine - apparantly it is going to be arctic winds tomorrow (according to GMTV)!

Glad to hear that you are still doing so well Frogga!
