Hi all
So – after a weekend away from here I have been doing some thinking. I posted last week that things at work are difficult – they are, I might not have a job come end of July – BUT – that is no reason to sabotage what was a very good, healthy weight loss regime!! I was doing OK – plodding on but showing results. Now I am slowly slipping back to my old ways and before I know it I will have put back on the pounds I have worked so hard to lose, and I can’t do that.
I returned to the board today to catch up and blimey – aren’t you all doing so well.:D Inspirational you all are. :T I have given myself a talking to and am back in the driving seat. The weather is so nice again and I really want to do it this time, I only have a few pounds to get to the next stone mark and that is a good landmark to aim for. After that I can tackle it a half stone at a time. :j
Interesting the discussion about lack of hours in a day. I threw a right strop on Saturday about always spending the weekend cleaning, shopping and doing all the boring mundane jobs. DH and I have hatched a plan to try and do more during weekday evenings – there is bu**er all on the telly this week (except for something called Euro 2008 – not sure what that is but doesn’t sound interesting) so good time to start! Jobs would include – running hoover round, ironing, mowing grass, washing cars, doing the weekly shop. All the things that take over a weekend, hopefully this will give us more time to do the bigger jobs or to do things we want to do. Will keep you posted how it works.
Anyway – back to the grind.:A
Today have had:
B – Muesli, Banana, Greek Yog and a spoon of honey
L – Sardine salad with cous cous and coleslaw, Pear and Yog
D – Paprika Pork and Peppers with new pots and veg
Exercise – not yet!!Joined WW again!! in November 2010 - four stone loss so far :T

Yeah I knowBut honestly, if I lived on my own or with anyone other than OH, I'd live in a pigsty (no offense mean to pigpen or any other piggies;)). And I'd probably be so bad that there'd be rooms where if you opened the door you'd be buried
When I lived at home with my parents, dusting was done about every 3 months when there was a thick layer and my asthma was really badWashing was done when I had no clean pants left - get the idea? I just live with a clean freak who can spot a stray crumb from 100 yards!! :rotfl: And tells me off for it!!

Hi all,
Very sunny and warm here today its lovely! Hope everyone is ok and hugs to those that arent.
Well at work today and I have my 'good head' on so decided against one of the yummy looking chocolate muffins that were in the staff room!
Had cereal for brekkie, went and bought a small pack of Sushi and some melon and grapes for lunch and sat in the park soaking up the rays! For dinner tonight I found a really tasty looking recipe on a thread on here for a butternut squash filled with couscous sounds good so going to try that!
Have a good afternoon everyone

occasionally!:D I have spent all afternoon lazing in the garden with my book as I am off work all week till Friday!(apart from the partime work) I do an hours housework every morning from 8am till 9am ish which keeps on top of everything. My part time work is 3 cleaning jobs of 2 hours each and is my pocket money so to speak - it means I can get my nails done every fortnight at vast expense without feeling guilty about the cost.
Luckily I am an organised person who can mullti task or I'd never cope!
I am not looking forward to not being able to do a thing once I've had my hysterectomy. Think I will have to hire a cleaner:D
I have altered my menu for dinner and have made Sheperdess pie(from off the grocey challenge thread) which is a lentil cottage pie - looks and smells delicious. Am having roasted butternut squash and sweet potato with it - the last bit from the freezer.Do what you love :happyhear0 -
Well done chloebelle! Hugs to everyone who's having a tough time this week. I pray to the baby Jesus that it will all get better soon. :A

what brilliant losses chloebelle and jojo. You should both be heartily proud of yourselves. :T :T :T :T
Have you a date yet for you op Taplady?
Am absolutely stuffed from my cheese salad sandwich at lunch. I opted for open sandwich but had 3 slices of HM crusty bread and I wasn't stingey on the thickness.Had lovely rocket from the garden and radishes on my sarnie too so it felt like a real treat.
Had 2 lovely hours in the garden talking with DS1. We got ourselves on the steamer chairs under the parasol by the tree and just chilled in the sun together. First time since that horrible night when he went missing that he's properly sat and chatted with me for more than a few mins. Its a hopeful beginings.
Not sure I'll be needing my omelette tonight. Might cut the hedges and try and burn off some food.MAY GROCERY CHALLENGE £0/ £250

Good afternoon!
I haven't been on here since Fridays weigh-in but I have been good (apart from going for a chinese with my sisters on Saturday but they paid and free food doesn't count). They knew I'd been down and wanted to treat me so I could hardly say no.
Went on a school trip to Twycross Zoo today - I'm cream crackered and we were only there three hours! All kids and teachers fell asleep on the coach on the way home - must be the heat. I resisted the ice cream run as I had to be honest with myself - I wasn't hungry. I had a huge tub of HM savoury rice for lunch and I'm still full now!
Got a self defence class this evening then off to the pub for a sing song and my weeklt Jack Daniels treat:D. I'm planning on getting up at 6 tomorrow for an early run before it gets too hot but with how tired I'm feeling, the alarm may end up being re-set!;)
I'm feeling positive again thank goodness and I'm glad to see that everyone seems to be doing very well on here at the moment - particularly the ones that have other difficulties in their lives at the moment as this makes weight loss so much harder - you all deserve a medal!:T0
