    Evening ladies n gents

Better late than never :D ....sending hugs to those fighting their demons at the moment.. come on folks you KNOW you can beat them :T every time you fight back you get a little stronger and they get a little weaker..
I have been catching up on the posts today... just had nothing to add  yes frogga.. i know..its a first for me :rotfl:

had a morning in the kitchen whilst hubby was golfing... made some more baguttes -this time i made it into 6 not 3.. made 17 balls of tortilla dough for the freezer and a double batch of naans too....

    Meals today:-
    • brekkie - i forgot to have it
    • lunch -hm thai beef curry with noodles and hm naan... the curry had chard, peas, beans in out of the garden :T
    • just had a baguette with cream cheese and salad (leaves out of garden too :p ) i managed 2/3 and gave hubby the rest... so next time i will make some even smaller for me.. have to say it is the nicest bread ever :D and the whole batch costs lest than 30p :j
So today i have had more carbs than i would normally but i will balance it out tomorrow as hubby is on duty so i will be eating mainly fruit ;)

Have spent part of today x stitching and have just been out watering the veggies and 1 of my cucumbers has 7 baby cumbers on and lots more flowers :j ..1 lot of the potatoes have flowers opening... a lovely lilac one with golden yellow middle ..very pretty, and one of my tomatoes has different flowers to normal -they are like mini yellow dahlias ..can't remember which variety it was :rotfl: and the flowers are dropping of the broad beans -revealing little pods :j
well i will get off again..hope everyone is feeling fighting fit tomorrow..
have a great evening all :D

Hi all! Just popping in briefly to remotivate myself. I've done ok over the past couple of days, considering that I was at a wedding yesterday and haven't had any water today (mains pipe has burst - funny how everything I cook needs water!). Still struggling to think of filling packed lunches that are also diet-friendly; am going to make egg mayo sandwich with extra low fat mayo for tomorrow but am stuck for the rest of the week (doesn't help that I have no money). Any ideas?

  • What have you got in EP?
Beanielou - oreos are just horrible IMO! They taste all powdery!

EP - if you have any pasta in you could boil some and then make a pasta salad which is always nice, or boil some rice and make curried rice salad (just cold boiled rice, a chopped apple, chopped onion, handful of raisins and some low fat mayo and/or salad cream mixed with curry powder and mango chutney - or if you've got no mango chutney a bit of vinegar and pinch of sugar. You can add leftover chopped chicken or a handful of nuts for protein.

    Morning Peeps,

This is my 3rd attempt as I keep getting logged out

Right, as usual just a quickie, now gonna check around and clean up.

Woke up at 4.30 as Mr Frog is off on a long haul today. Thought I would try and be really possitive today. Not gonna moan but within 20 mins I was in tears. Mr Frog made an innocent comment on the fact that the hounds didn't get a very long walk yesterday and just a quick run around the field. It made me feel like poo as I know they were neglected yesterday but I cant do everything!!!!

I am franticly trying to finish a Cross Stitch poem that I'm doing for my collegues for when I leave work on the 27th. It's a silly little ditty about life at work with them all. I've been there 18 years ( with 5 out in the middle to have the tadpoles) and I am very close to lots of them. I just wanted to leave them a little reminder of me. Trouble is it's got quite long and is now taking loads of time and I'm struggling to cope with everything else.

Really need to change the sheets, the whole house could do with a really good clean, the garden is getting full of weeds, the windows need doing, there are lots of cupboards that need sorting, I could go on and on :o I just cant cope at the mo, and then to be reminded that the hounds didn't get much of a walk yesterday has tipped me over the edge.

Off for a shower and will really try to pull myself together. Sorry to be a moaning frog AGAIn , but at least I'm not binging ;)

    morning all

frogga i know how you feel my green friend - (((hug))). although i only work part-time, i have DS to look after and i'm also trying to study in my spare (!!) time, keep the house clean, grow some nice plants in the garden, plan a wedding, and just got into the idea of making my own cards and there just doesn't seem to be enough hours in the day  and sometimes it gets me really down and the slightest thing like OH not hanging his towel up before he leaves for work will set me off and i'm moody all day. so you're not alone ;)

i've had a really bad time eating-wise since we;ve been back from holiday. not binging or anything, just been getting last minute invitations from family/friends and ending up having something unplanned and not always healthy. :o need to get myself sorted again, just can't seem to get myself straight since we got back

    anywho today:
    b: special k
l:  will need to pack something as taking DS to hospital for hearing test
d: BBQ chicken and cheesy mash.

hopefully should be able to stay out of the cupboards as i have decided to make our wedding invitations myself so should keep me busy a while.

have a lovely day peeps. :A

    Morning peeps,

if my terrible memory serves me correctly a congrats is in order for Floyd - i`m sure you lost 1lb somewhere:D well done.

HUGE HUGS :grouphug: :grouphug: to recovering and frogga hope everything seems better for you soon.
As regards the housew**k just leave it, i`ve hardly done any this last 2 weeks as i`m w**king full time and have 2 hounds that need 3 walks a day, in fact i`m struggling to find time to cook meals lately so i`m afraid Mr Sunnyday can either eat or have a clean house. He`s away fishing until tonight so i`ve been all out looking after myself and the houndies and with working shifts i`ve hardly slept (just over 3 and a half hours last night) so i`m knackered.
Tough titty for the house i`m afraid:D
I`m at w**k now so best run.
Hope you all have something good in your day.

Planning on starting the GC again soon :p
