Forgive Me Frogga for I have Sinned:embarasse
Even tho I was very good & spent BoDiddly yesterday, I came home & scavanged anything edible that was not nailed down or needing lengthy cooking:mad: Hopefully it's out of my system now, for at least a couple of months.
When I have a big decision to make, I have two lists--one Pro doing & the other Anti--then as I think of different bits I write then on whichever side it belongs......Take your current quandry RS; if it were me my lists would be like this......
PRO
lose weight; better fitting clothes; cheaper clothing costs; cheaper food costs; improved associated health issues; improved self-worth
ANTI
cost of op; anaesthetic; possible health repercussions; never eating a clotted cream tea again!
Well...you get the idea.....& then I look at them when I'm in an objective frame of mind. When it boils down to it

Hi guys, quickie today as it's Nipper's 14th birthday and I am in full on Mum mode but didn't post yesterday and it was weigh in
I've lost 2lb! Amazing after my binge at the weekend. Really chuffed. That's 2 out of the 4 lbs for my June target. Creeping every nearer 10 and a half stone which is a mini target I'm working towards. Been chugging water like a maniac, I swear you can hear me slosh as I walk by. I *think* Aunt Flo is due but it could just be because I'm a moody cow.
I've taken photos of myself this week in the bikini I bought for me holidays - I find it really difficult to see changes in my body and I know that when I come to wear it in September (as I won't get in it for the Portugal holiday in 5 weeks time) I won't be happy with what I see. So I've taken photos of the weight I am now so I can compare and get a bit of perspective about how far I've come (hopefully!). I wish I had done it when I first started on the diet but mid way I hope to still see results. Sometimes I find pure weight loss very discouraging as the pounds can creep off so slowly and my clothes don't ever seem to feel any different. So by taking the pics and by measuring myself I can kinda get a real appreciation of the changes in my body. I suppose it's any little trick you can use to keep yourself motivated and on track.
Can I say woooot at the amazing losses this week? Just stupendous. MrsM, 100lb. Speechless. Congratulations.
Frogga - d'ya know, might not mean much but everytime you post that you've resisted a binge I punch the air. Proper proud of your froggy green !!!, so I am.
So many people I can't possibly mention you all but seriously, am so chuffed for everyone.
Off out to all you can eat chinese tonight cos it's Nipper's favourite so I'll be full of MSG and salt and will be retaining water like a balloon by tomorrow
Have a great weekend everyone - spare a thought for Saversarn who by now will be rubber suited up with all the other nutters on the diving course, bless her crazy heart

Knowing you're all at your PC's doing that means a hell of a lot :A Daft as I know it must sound I usually have MrsM, RS, Tappy and MeanMaire in my head shouting for England. Sometimes the Toad gives them a run for their money, but I gotta tell ya, MrsM is deafening

So far so good today. It's evenings that are my downfall though. Once the little chap is in bed I have my supper....and then sometimes I have another supper after that.
I have just been on an hour and a half walk, sometimes pushing the 3 year old in a buggy, sometimes chasing him, and sometimes just dawdling along beside him. Hopefully that will help. Also, as the little chap woke me every hour last night, I should be going to bed too early tonight to have two suppers.
Well done Nix, 2lb off in the face of PMT is no mean feat!0 -
Hello folks :hello:
We've spent nearly all day at the lotty and I'm pooped:) but pleased 'cos we've got a lot done and we have homegrown rocket and radish to add to the teatime salad
Food today has not been good, I had a mushroom omlette and toast for brekkie but OH said we'd be back by lunchtime............at 1pm with loads still to do we went to the bakery.........I had a cheese salad roll which the girlie smothered in salad cream:eek: and an eccles cake:eek: I did enjoy it though.
Unfortunatley bread is my downfall and when we got in I had another 2 slices smothered in butter:mad: I'm cross with myself now, we're going to the pictures tonight to see Indiana  Harrison Ford:drool: Jones and I'd promised myself a Magnum if I was good....and we're going out for the day tomorrow which is a meal out *sigh* I'll do my best and make sure I get back on the SW wagon ASAP!!!!
We go on holiday at the begining of July and I was hoping to have lost another 4lbs by then.
I'll be back tomorrow evening folks, enjoy the weekend :A0 -
