  • Wow Chloebelle and Jojo, couple of brilliant losses there, well done you!!:T

Had a lousy night's sleep last night, combination of being too hot and not wanting to go back to work this morning after a week off. Perked up no end when I got on the scales.... 2.5lb off, woohooooo!! Getting close to my target now so wasn't sure if a week of extra exercise, healthier eating and drinking gallon upon gallon of water would make as much difference as I'd hoped, but it did!:D :j

    Good luck this week JIJers!
  • Chloebelle, Jojo and Droopydrawers :T :T :T :T :T on FAB losses! I am jealous!

I did the flylady kitchen thing today and am knackered! The kitchen looks almost new again though so that's good!

I had beef stew for tea but I used sweet potatoes in it instead of regular and it was really nice. I had it with hm red cabbage, which wasn't as nice as I usually make because to save calories I used Splenda and it was far too sweet. Didn't have any afters as I was really full, and just had a cappucino and cup of tea during the evening.

Don't feel any thinner yet though;)

RS - what do you do with the red cabbage? I have some in my fridge I need ideas for (already made coleslaw).

Know what you mean about Splenda, it's tricky to cook with. Tried it in twinks hobnobs and got the quantities wrong so they were inedible. Has anyone used splenda with any success in baking? I'd love a guilt-free recipe!

    Well done droopydrawers! :j

    morning:D

well had my curry, dh got me a tikka masala:eek: was yummy though, had rice and a plain naan, so will eat less today to make up for it:rotfl:

twinks hobnobs are healthy but you would have to stop at just having one:rolleyes: they are lo gi so would go as a good snack if you are feeling peckish

most times splenda etc just wont work in baking, tried it as my son has diabetes

anyway will have some fruit for breakfast, not hungry yet, still full up and had to sample a scone the boys made at school yesterday, mmm

right thats it, im really not going to lose anything this week;)

and my feet are hurting, so its going to be agony walking

and well done to all the great losses so far, well done:T

    Morning everyone,
very warm here this morning but overcast at the moment so we will have to see what the weather brings later.

Massive congrats to Chloebelle, JoJoB & Droopy drawers - well done you!

Toniwoty - don`t worry too much, i sneaked on the scales this morning and i`m 2lb heavier, these shifts always b**ger my body clock up and as soon as i adjust my shifts change again. It`ll drop back off again soon enough.
I`m learning not to agonise over these times, i used to sit and cry but i`m stronger now especially with all the lovely peeps on here for support.

Brekkie today is the usual toast & pate, i`ve got a bit of museli for later and if i have enough energy i`ll be making salad later, last night i was so tired i had an Asda ready meal (curry) but if i hadn`t had that then i would have just fallen asleep without anything.
I don`t think i`ll be able to get near a pc tomorrow as i`m going to a meeting instead of my usual job and i`ve no idea what to expect for lunch.
I expect it will be sandwiches but i`m not going to take salad on 2 train rides cos it`ll probably be no good by the time i get there and i`ve enough to carry as it is.
Right peeps, off to do more w**k so i`ll try and catch up soon.

Woo HOoo chloebelle on being slimmer of the week. And massively impressed Droopydrawers that you've reached your June target already - I've not even got off the starting ground yet. :o

Lovely sunny day here and am going to make the most of it. Got some exercise in the garden yesterday and 3/4 of the hedges are now trimmed and tidy. :D Actually DH did them but I faffed around helping. :p

    Food today:
    Fruit and fibre
Oven baked trout with salad (mum coming to dinner and bringing :D )
    Brie and crackers with tomatoes

Snacks - grapefruit, apples and prunes.

Must crack on with the ironing pile today as its mammouth. :( Will have a surf and another coffee tho before I start.

Hope all those weighing in today get what they hope for and well done to those that aren't put off by the STS and gains. We will get there! ;)

    Morning Super Slimmers :j

Blimey I'm late on here today

WELL DONE the loosers!!! Truely Fab so you are :T

Thanks for the table Toni, looking great :D

Feeling possitive today, me and RS are gonna stun the lot of you by licking this habit ( Oo odd choice of words  )

I think all of those of us who have been a little bit negative lately should post one good thing about ourselves today. I remember when we did it before it really helped lift our spirits. I also remember that certan people couldn't do it!!!! Yes, MrsM that was you :naughty:

SO I'll start ~ I'm damm good at putting weight on :D I could put on a stone in a week if I tried really hard, there's not many of you who can say that you know. It takes effort, commitment and a hell of a lot of binging to achieve that kind of result. Perhaps it's not a very helpful attribute, but It's mine and I'm proud of it :D I am gonna try and change the "best thing about me" into being the person who is damm good at loosing weight and keeping it off this time ;)

Right hopping off to work, I wonder if MrsM will be able to put her self consiousness in her pocket and tell us something good about herself? COme on MrsM , we could all think of HUNDREDS for you ;)
