Afternoony everyone!
congrats to the losers and sts :T :T
Had ok morning, feel really sicky/bloated so only picked at a few cold boiled potatoes. hopefully i will feel better later as i have not had any fruit yet and i am really trying to get as much fruit/veg down my neck as poss now.
Did a pilates dvd this morning, its a new one i got, and it felt quite easy to do, which makes me think that no doubt later on i will feel as though i have been whacked in the tummy!!
Have whole bag of mixed bean and pea salad mix simmering away in slow cooker, going to divide any freeze them in portions and use in little salads a la Mrs M! - i only wish beans didnt stink so much when you are cooking them!!:p
Toni - i think your 5 steps are a really good idea, think i may try that also, im getting really obsessed about food again lately and i need to get a grip before i start binging again.
thank goodness it is a bit cooler here today, nearly boiled to death yest, and my poor plants and veggies werent happy either!! mind you i best get them tucked up if the arctic winds are on the way!!!
Have a lovely day everyone.
xxPlease be nice to all moneysavers!

Afternoon all :hello: ,
It's happened again, as soon as my backs turned you all start dropping pounds like autumn leaves, Fantastic, Wonderful, you amazing peeps.:j :j :T :T
Back from our camping trip and all things Land Rovery. DH bought a new wheel and tyre, a bench seat for my car and I got a toy for DD's new puppy and a lead for ours. As we had to pitch the tent on a slope and not realising how we'd positioned it, the end result was that if I needed the loo I had to climb over my DH. Much giggling and merryment could be heard by all so heaven knows what our fellow campers must have thought. Then we went to visit my cousins in S Wales and being quite early called in at a MrT Extra for flowers, but...... they also had a clothes sale on so I came away with a jacket, hat and pretty top (size 12 and it fits :j ) and got DS4 a new shirt and DH went mad and bought a pair of flipflops and a belt. Then had a fantastic time with the family and went with them for a meal. Roast beef, yorkshire pud and lots of veg followed by fresh fruit salad and cream, gorgious. The weather was great all weekend and we felt like we'd had a proper holiday. Amazing how much you can fit into a weekend. We could do this regularly, so why don't we
(apart from the shopping bit, can't afford that too often). Just get stuck in a rut and don't bother getting out of it, crazy.
This might sound barny but I'm sure the potatoes and peas had grown several inches over the weekendand you can hardly get in the greenhouse tents the tomatos have got so big. In the garden the beetroot are popping up and in the apotment several things are appearing (not checked my map yet so not sure exactly what they are
)
On the down side our junior Pupkin has been wandering round looking depressed. DS said he'd been like it over the weekend too so we think he might have missed us and thought his little world was coming apart, bless him. Other than that he's eating fine and running around as normal. He's at my side while typing this, ah!!!!!!
Keep up the good work RS and Frogga, cravings are horrendous, boy do I know and the binging  . But, and I have no idea why, since ditching all things cakey and pudy I haven't had any. I agree with you, I think they are addictive, what do they put in them????????
My one good thing about myself is...........I'm thinking  ...........urm.......... still thinking...................urm......I know, this body of mine has produced 5 fantastic kids and for that I will always be in awe of it no matter how many wrinkles, chins, varicose veins or stretch marks it may have. I owe it such alot that it's way time I started treating it with the care it deserves. Crumbs got all serious there, thinkings not good for me.
Have a great day everyone.

Dear You Lot
I've done something a bit norty and un-money saving - I've just ordered some weights! WOOOOOOOOT! I've been holding off and holding off and wanting them sooooooo badly and I finally caved in and bought some :j. They will be here Thursday, expect to have me on here moaning and groaning about achy bits on Friday
I think, for the first time in my life, I am getting addicted to this exercise nonsense.
Who'd have thunk it? However I do have ulterior motive its my 40th birthday next year and me and my friends are planning trip of a lifetime - 3 days Vegas, 4 days Palm Springs for Pride and a week in Florida Keys :T Don't ask me where the money is coming from, I may have to sell one of my super healthy kidneys. Anyhoo Pride in Palm Springs, I have to be, I think the official term for it is, BUFF :rotfl:

EH-OO:hello:
Just about to start on the evening meal..probably spag bag, with the obligatory extras of course;) I'm trying to convince the offspring that it is in their interest to start looking forward to eating more pulses & grains--the financial side but more importantly the Healthy aspect too. The eldest has been given a kick up the Kyber this week when BP measurements were a tad high, following a routine medical for work.
I very nearly succumbed to temptation yesterday whilst strolling past the bathroom scales in MrA. I just didn't realise the variety & huge price difference there was now, so needless to say I'm sticking with how me bazumpas are fitting under me ja-humpas challenge:D
Been trying to  of something positive to say, cuz last time I got toldid orf...umm ............... ..... that's what I got me into trouble last time..:undecidedboy! this is harder than the actual bluddin shape-shifting:eek: ....can I get back to you later?:o

Hi All,
Well done on the weight losses JoJoB, Chloebelle and Angelnikki.
Well done for resisting the binging Frogga and RS. I have been reading a couple of books this weekend on neuro linguistic programming and I found one bit interesting that might help. It said
'The way to get rid of unwanted behaviours is not to try and stop them with will power. This will guarantee they persist because you are giving them attention and energy. Find another, better way to satisfy the intention, one that is more attuned to the rest of your personality'.
It is obvious when you think about it that you would have to keep thinking about binging (or any unwanted habit)to try and stop yourself doing it. I know it is easier said than done to try and find something else that fulfils the same need but it was interesting RS that found you didn't think about food when you were really busy sorting out the kitchen. And Mrs M (our star achiever) seems to have found loads to keep her busy (gardening etc) which maybe has helped her in some way. I hope what I have said sounds useful to at least think about and maybe will help in some way. I don't intend to make light of how difficult it is - after all I am the worlds's worst for losing weight as it has taken me 5 months to lose a measly 10lb.
I have just got back from a long walk (2 &3/4 hours) - my first for a week. I also had a quick walk into the village this morning to visit the bank and PO so have done around 22,000 steps today. It should help bring the averages up. I'm still not managing to stick to 1250 calories a day, it's usually between 1400 and 1500. It doesn't help that I keep baking scones that are too delicious to resist. Neither does my HM yoghurt help as that has turned out really well again. I did make it with skimmed milk this time so it shouldn't be too high in calories though, despite being extra thick just like Greek yoghurt.
We went out for a meal with OH's teenagers last night - a carvery - but I was very good and just had the meat and vegetables, no potatoes, stuffing or yorkshire puddings. I got a good compliment from someone in a shop I went into beforehand and haven't seen since last year. She told me I looked really well, years younger and had obviously lost weight. I walked out of the shop feeling great and with a big smile all over my face. I think my smile is one of my best points by the way, plus the fact that I am a very happy contented sort of person most of the time.
B: Muesli with skimmed milk and raisins. Freshly squeezed orange juice.
L: HM tortilla wrap with salad and taramasalata. Fruits of the forest with 2 tsp of HM yoghurt.SW chips with egg and a slice of bread and butter. Banana.
