I'm enjoying it so far! Makes me smiley, bouncing, even though i'm a bit rubbish. It was advertised in Argos for £17.99 but was actually £10.99 - so cheaper than 3 trips to the swimming pool!! x

I can see a trip to Argos coming on!!

I can feel a trip to Argos coming on :j :j

Sorry!! Double post there,... stupid 'puter!
  • Greetings all - seems like quite a few of us are back in positive mood for Weight Loss which is good. :j Managed a swim last night and hoping to do the same tonight. Food has been good as well. Made a yummy pasta bake last night - was a jar (not my usual thing) but mum gave it to me as she didn't want it, added remains of my bacon joint, mushrooms, onion and green beans. With the cheese on top added a crushed bag of smoky bacon crisps  - I know, not very healthy but very delish.:D And there is enough left for my tea tonight (hubby is out).

SS - went to pics at Odeon Tunbridge Wells - 8.30 showing. Hope your pick and mix was nice - we had Ben and Jerry's;)

Nix - thanks for the informative posts - keep them coming. I did tinker with the idea of calorie counting but having spent ages weaning myself off WW points am trying to just eat normal food in sensible portions:D Obviously sometimes this doesn't work and I fall of that darn wagon, but I do get back on and keep trying.

BMF - agree with you about Fern - she is so daft. Why not admit what you have done and then get on with it. Then again, if I was married to Phil Vickery I think I would be the size of a house :rotfl: :rotfl: - would love to have someone cook for me.

Weather here is absolute pants - am cold at the moment but at least it has stopped raining for a minute.

Joined WW again!! in November 2010 - four stone loss so far :T

Stuck in today as Mr T is coming, so have used the time to fill the freezer with lots of dinners for ds & dd.

I'm quite enjoying the freedom from counting points. The first time I joined ww, I lost 4 1/2 stone in 9 months. But since ds was born, I have really struggled. Lets hope this new approach works.

    B: Cereal
    S: fruit muffin
    L: Soup & hm bread
    D: Broc & pepper Pasta
Thanks to all the lovely people on here I have managed to cut my hours down to 2 days a week, allowing me to spend more time with my gorgeous Children. :j

I'm here to confess... it's not been a great day....

In the shop I resisted the big pack of butter shortbread biscuits which I would have eaten all of by the end of tomorrow (or maybe even today), resisted the large bar of fruit and nut... but gave in and had a small bar of caramel. :o

It was good though and I feel a bit better now :p Need to make sure I don't buy any more chocolate....
working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?
  • It's not a great day here either newlywed. Have just scoffed 5 custard creams that M&D left on the plate whilst they were here for lunch. I could have put them back in the tin but I didn't :o .

DD is still on and off the potty as she has the runs, I have also stuck her in a nappy just in case she doesn't quite make it, have already had to wash 2 pairs of pants - yuck. It's worse than potty training.......

I have some asparagus that needs eating up and some potatoes leftover from last nights tea. Will make a soup for tea, no cream in it for me though :p .

Hope everyone else is having a nice day :)

    I've been Money Tipped!
    :hello: Hello!

Back from holiday to find out I had put more weight on and weighed in at 11stone 13lbs, ( I should be about 9-10 stone to be comfortable but since I have had cfs the weight just keeps going up)) guess I shouldn't have had the fish and chips! Anyway I have seen dr today and have highish bp so now I need to get my act together! No more lumps of cheese for a start, shame as oh has bought in a huge block of it so now I must go and grate it into small portions for the freezer.

M.E. - keep going, I know how hard it can be for those of us with this horrible illness, it is difficult to be more active and exercise, I just try to give the dog regular little walks when I feel ok and I have the help the aged fitness dvd which I must start again as it is very very gentle.

Off to find some healthy but filling meal ideas, had a hm granary bread, sardine and salad sandwich for lunch and some frozen berries for a snack. Dinner tonight will be oven baked salmon, steamed courgettes & french beans and jacket potato.
Our days are happier when we give people a bit of our heart rather than a piece of our mind.

    Afternoon All,

Sailing was ok but the kids got soaked and then grumpy and I felt sea sick :o

I dont know what to think about Fern Britton  I really liked her when I saw her on the telly as she always seemed very genuine. I guess it's not good if she felt she had to fib about how she's done it. It's a bit underhand. However it's a shame that she felt she had no alternative. I would HATE to be in the public eye as everyone knows your business.

Went into work this afternoon and it was a bit difficult. One of the girls is 50 today and she was having "nibbles" at break and lunch. Everyone bought something in to share. I made some bread. I didn't want to eat anything because I know EXACTLY what I'm eating and when I'm eating it and I dont/cant deviate from that list. I know that some of you will think that's ridiculas but I do have a real problem with food as you know and if I'd have had anything other than what I allow myself it would have been dissaster.

A few of the ladies at work kept on and on at me to have some of the food. I kept saying no thanks I've eaten but they kept insinuating I was rude by not eating. It's SO hard. THey kept saying," oo go on have just a little bread, or grapes et.c" and I know that a few grapes would not have hurt but at the moment I'm so close to the edge that I have to stick to my "allowence". I really think being a food addict is SO much harder than alcohol or drugs cause people keep pushing it on me and I have to eat at least 3 times a day!!!

Sorry for the rant, must be a day for it eh BFM? ;)

    See ya later guys xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

ps that just made my day, God I'm good xxxxx
