Hi Folks,
Oh... MRSM i know what you mean, today I picked up a packet of crisps to have with my lunch because I can accomodate that in my calorie allowance today, whereas I have managed perfectly well without crisps for months:mad:
But then I was feeling a little lethagic for a while and the last couple of days I have upped my calories a bit and feel better and I do need to feel good as my scuba diving course at the weekend is very full on, 8am-7pm:eek:
B- Fruit and yogurt
L- Ham roll and crisps
D- Pasta sausage mush
Must try harder with my pedometer today now I'm feeling a bit better only been managing 7000 steps a day instead of my 10K.
Oh and I've bought liquorice tea, it tastes devine but smells like cats pee, who said it smells gorgeous??? Maybe it's just my brand that is best drank with a peg on your nose

Hi guys, thought I'd pop my head round the door again to see how everyone's getting on. Congrats to thouse who are doing well and "chin up" to those who are struggling x
I can't say that my eating's been great over the past week; it's certainly better than normal but I've got a long way to go before I regularly eat three healthy meals a day. The good news is that I've started cycling to the station every day - a round trip of 4.6 miles - so hopefully that will make a difference after a couple of weeks. If I could just lose a stone and a half I'd be a happy girl; anything more and I'd be thrilled (I could safely lose four stone and still be a healthy weight).0 -
Hi to you all
Firstly, congratulations to all the weight loss this week - it's brilliant.
To those you are struggling - you can do this, take one day at a time - we are all in the same boat - anything is achievable if you put your mind to it. My trigger point was buying a pedometer and walking my 10,000 steps a day. Food will follow, exercise first!
Had my weigh in on Monday - lost 4lbs. My total so far is 24lbs since 7th April 08. Really pleased :0)No Unapproved or Personal links in signatures please - FT30 -

Hi All,
Just a quickie ~ I seem to be saying that ALL the time
RS ~ YOu better had keep posting on here!!!! I know no one on here has a problem with anyone needing a gastric band, it was meerly the hypocracy of certan people pretending thay had done it the old fashioned way that they have a problem with. If/when you have it done you will still be doing portion control et.c and it will give you the incentive to eat healthily so OF COURSE you should still post! I would LOVE to have a gastric band as it would prevent me binging.
IMO there are 2 types of ladies on here. Those that have put on weight over the years and really could do with loosing some, and those of us who have eating dissorders. You and I know which group we belong toand if you need medical help to sort it out then no one will think the worse of you. It is a daily battle not to binge for me. Sometimes I could weep I want to do it SO much. But at the moment I'm winning. Might not win tomorrow, or next week, but today I'm OK. That's as much as I can say. I take one day at a time and try not to binge for now.
MrsM ~ Thanks for the support. There are quite a few people at work who try to sabotage my WL  But I wont let the !!!!!!s do it to me
Right, been on here longer than I should have, I'm off........................................................Say it once, say it loud ~ I'm an Atheist, Anti-Royalist, Socialist, Tea-Total Veggie Frog and PROUD!:D

Hi all,
Well I think I may have tracked down all my stomach problems I've been having since Feb. At the beginning of Feb I decided to try and increase my non-dairy calcium intake - and added sesame seeds to my breakfast... then each time I've been ill, since then, I've had stirfry (with sesame oil) or other sesame products, seeded bread doesn't help either. Feeling poorly today but haven't eaten any sesame only a couple of small things that "may contain" it. But apparently veg oil can also be suspect (I only use olive at home), and so can margarine.
I feel crummy today, didn't sleep well, had belly ache all night but not as bad as it has been and I haven't been sick yet. Had hot water and lemon juice for breakfast (to see if the effect it has would help - and it did help a bit). Then felt really hungry so bought rice crispy square, pack of square crisps and ate them. Just eaten my salmon roll and feel grott again
Will have to go to the docs and get them to do more tests to make sure that's what it is. Are they going to think I'm a hypochondriac? They must be able to test for it and find out, surely?working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0 -

I cannot eat "seedy"bread because it wrecks my guts! I can't even eat sesame rolls because they give me a really bad tummy - I get this horrible bloated sicky feeling and I get the runs. I have IBS and this gets worse too. I love seedy bread and the other day I bought some and had two slices and really suffered - and the thing is that it lasts for a couple of days afterwards.
I don't know if a doctor would be able to tell if it is to do with the sesame oil because they only class something as an allergy if you get a REALLY bad reaction (swollen lips, hives etc) - anything else they say is an intolerance and that is hard to diagnose. You could try and keep a food diary for a week or two and note down any symptoms and then take that with you to the doctors. They won't think you are a hypochondriac - you are clearly having real issues.Jane

Afternoon all
Recovering...you are going nowhereyou can't get rid of us that easily :rotfl: ...if YOU decide that you need a gastric band then so what!!!..we are all going to the same place -"destination..slimsvill"
-but we are all taking different routes to get there
If you do have it -you should still be on here as you are going to have to eat proper food -in fact it will be even more important as you are going to be eating such small portions that its crucial you get your nutrients
Anyhow.... surely if you "shouldn't be allowed" on here then what about OSing with tumble dryers, dishwashers etc..not that im knocking them or anyone who uses them...but surely its the same principal
I have just made some baguettes.... they are in the oven as we speak they look :j so far... perhaps not the best thing to make nommy nommy nom nom :rotfl: but they are suposed to be for hubby ..thought it was something a bit different to pack him up with..they are quite large.. supposed to serve 3 from 1..i don't think soplanning on packing 1 up but cut in 3 for hubby ...will let you know how they turn out..
Had a bit of a swap around for meals... after my muesli i had a piece of the minted pea n goats cheese quiche and 2 oranges ... so i will have a salad of some sort for dinner....
Still raining here..but have nipped out and have loads of flowers on the tomatoes :T had to move some salad leaves before they were floating
Frogga.... smile nicely at the folks at work -whilst thinking "knickers" i think we are all going to have folks who try to stop us.. we just have to learn to not listen... when i sent a pic to my mum via the pc..my starting photo and the one where i had started to lose (the ones you saw) one brother declared.."tell her not to lose too much" my 2nd pic -i was 16st... hardly THIN
Newlywed.. hope you are feeling better soon ...huge hugs coming your way
well i had better get off and see if those baguettes are ready... i do like to torture myself :rotfl: ..fresh baked white bread in the house when hubby is out until this evening  mind i know 1 ickle bit and i would be asleep for hours
keep at it folks we are getting there..have a good evening all-6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.50 -

Thanks RS, that helps alot. Sometimes I start to think maybe it's all in my head - or that I'm just a freakOH thought it might be IBS but I wasn't convinced as it includes serious stomach ache and bloating and me being sick for hours and not even being able to keep water down. Then next day I'm mostly ok. The doc thought the first bout might be appendicitis and warned me if the stomach pains and swelling got really bad to go to a&e. Then decided as it had subsided that it must be a bug. Haven't been back to tell her if it is a bug I've had it about 8 times since Feb!!!
It was only really meal planning and looking back over the past plans that made it more certain.
I was only trying to be more healthy and increase my calcium intake!! :mad:working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0
