Hope everyone is having a good day.
I have to post to let you know I have been a good good girl and haven't snacked unless you count a tiny tiny wedge of cake (wasn't even a bite worth lol).
My friend came down so didn't get any chance to work out or weigh my self so I'll stick to the 9st9lbs Iweighed my self at the other day!
Upset with hubby again last night which watching Lost and the gladiators ad came on and it had two blokes 3 including the referee (sp) ref says to one guy how much do you weigh? guys says *think* 130kg ref turns to smaller guy and what do you weigh guys says something like 54kg. Hubby pipes up , GOD I bet he weighs less than you......GUtted I was to say the least and he can't see why I am upset and he isn't even sorry for saying it asked me why i'm upset then told me in the next breath to stop going on about it then. Some Men eh:mad:
Right anyway I am going to loss as much as a goal for my mates birthday night out 27th June but going to aim for 6lbs.
Grocery Challenge. £400. - £35.22 + £19.80 + £109.01 = £164.03
Other spends (Clothes Luxuries etc)£11.97 + £1.19 + £7.36 + £69.00 + £38.50 + £5.50 + £23.00 +£2.00 = £158.52:shocked::sad:0 -

I had quorn fillet, SW wedges, mushrooms and asparagus for my tea - tasty! I'll have my yoghurt and cereal bar later.OH took me to work this morning but I came home on the train  so had a wander round the town intending to treat myself to a bit of something..............nothing!!!!!! Zilch!!!! Even went in M&S and Next but couldn't see anything I liked, there wasn't even any nice bags in Primark!

Evening all
Well its been a bloomin scorcher here today..i decided to get out and sort the potio out - i needed to move stuff round as it was getting too big..at the same time i have managed to make room for that table and benches..so me n hubby have a little room now. Lots of meals out there coming on me thinks :T ...
I also mowed the lawn and strimmed the edges :A god i was a right soggy puddle by the time i had done..came in and looked at the temp.. it was 80 -indoors-in the shade-at 4pm  so i think i have worked some cals off.. but it looks lovey now:j
Just had salad with cheese..a bit of feta, cheddar and a lovely healthy goats cheese with herbs-it comes in little fat rounds -only 50 cals each  :T and the steamed potatoes turned into potato salad ...only had a bit though
Will have some more fruit or a yogurt later if need be...
im now going to have a flick through a couple of cook books i haven't looked through for a while..sure i can find us some more yummy summer meals
Hope we are all well and getting JIJ off to a good start-6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.50 -
Hey Frogga, again if you've got 5 mins spare and wanna read something interesting check out this woman's blog - she's lost 100 pounds and eats like a horse. Really nice woman as well.
http://www.j3nn.net/
She eats about 6 times a day as well, snacks are deffo a good idea. Just check out her meal plans. She also has several free days a month where she doesn't give a monkeys what she eats. She calorie counts which I always thought would be a ballache but actually once you start doing it it's not so bad, it's more about helping you know what exactly you're shoving in your gob. I've been amazed how much I can eat - today I had porridge for breakfast then egg sarnie and fruit salad for lunch. Apple and bag of WW crisp things (was only thing I could get my hands on!) for afternoon snack. Just had baked salmon with steamed carrots, spinach, sugar snap peas and courgette and I've STILL got 400 calories left that I can eat. That's for me to lose a pound a week - and doesn't take into account anything I'm burning off by exercising.
Mind you, there's our own MrsM who is as successful as Jenn at weight loss and has done it in a shorter timescale - MrsM, if you had to sum up you diet tips what would they be? Because you're obviously doing something right
I think there are loads of different ways to actually shift your weight but at the end of the day as long as you're eating less calories than you are using you'll lose it. I think we're all just interested in finding the easiest/healthiest way of doing it - and something you can sustain for rest of your life is a good goal I suppose
Oh hell, I've banged on AGAIN haven't I? Sorry guys, I can't help it, my poor brain is just spilling over with information about nutrition and weight loss at the minute. I'll shut up now and take my soap box awayComps £2016 in 2016 - 1 wins = £530 26.2%

Hey folks
I've been MIA - but I have been keeping up with you all!! Well done to all those that have lost :T . I have to go back to hosp tomorrow (just the day I hope) and then a few days to recover. I'll join the June challenge on Friday and put myself down for a 4lb loss and then try and get my a*$e in gear and do it:o .
Hope to be able to get back to brisk walking and dare I mention it running soon- but I'm still not fully recovered from my previous op - so ambling it is for the moment (have to stop shoving food in my gob - it may help :rotfl: )
Good luck folks - catch up with you all in a few days!0 -
A few of you have mentioned not having any decent clothes. I had some money off DH for my birthday, and found some cheap but good t shirts in the strangest place - Sainsburys.
They had t shirts for £3 that go up to size 22, some pretty tops and dresses too (oh dear, I sound like an advert).
It has done my confidence the world of good just being able to open the wardrobe, pull out a t-shirt and know it fits and looks ok. I also got a dress suitable for my SIL's wedding for £20 (honest, it is suitable).
Hope this helps.....0 -
Have STAYED THE SAME this week, but have lost 7lb since September AND KEPT IT OFF.
I have 100lb to go.. now why does that sound like a pizza!
Am aiming for 4lb in June.
But will I be the tortoise not the [strike]hare [/strike]frogga?

Evening everyone,
Had to work today, normally they have lots of snacks in the staff room but they didnt today although I'm not sure I would have touched them if they did! Been relatively good food wise. Had cereal with skimmed milk for breakfast and again for lunch. I had one hour for lunch break and in this time I had to rush home and get my umbrella grab some food and then get back into town so I could get some bits we needed! All that rushing must have been some good exercise though! And for dinner had cottage pie again that I made yesterday with baked beans, we've had that two days in a row now and I still have some pie left over to freeze! Also had half of one of those mini green and blacks chocolate things as I was still a bit peckish after lunch but I figured with all the rushing about its probably burnt off!
Am feeling a little hungry now but typing this is keeping me occupied! If I still in a bit I'll probably have a flapjack or something just to keep me going!0 -
evening all!
just a quickie from me as i've not long got in from work.
MRSM - Am thinking of Devon cream teas with clotted cream!
Cranky - I agree about Sainsbugs clothes. I've bought lots from there and they are good!:T
Went out for a meal with work and had salmon new pots salad and peas. For lunch I had my old favourite of jacket spud and cottage cheese.
I did spoil it all by having a tiny portion of apple crumble for supper:D
See you all in the morning!Do what you love :happyhear0
