Morning folks :hello: I still feel like poo with this headache :( but must soldier on
No exercise today, just pottering I think.

Suzid - I only wear shorts for gardening when it's hot, I'd actually gone to the lotty in trousers and changed in the shed. My thighs are full of cellulite and I have the beginings of varicose veins so NOT a pretty sight:eek: but yesterday was a 'who cares' day after all, there are a lot of people around who look a LOT worse than me!

I've just managed to eat scrambled egg and a bit of toast, I think it's the painkillers that are making me feel a bit queasy _pale_ so I might skip lunch and have something later. I only have myself to see to, OH is working today and they aways go out for Sunday lunch
Hope I feel better tomorrow, I'll have to go back to work or face the docs for a sicknote.............not a nice prospect:confused: on a Monday morning!

    Hi All,

Seems very quiet on here - a bit like at home as OH is working today and won't be home till after 7. DS and fiancee are coming for their weekly Sunday meal before that though, so I won't be too lonely.

I've spent the afternoon so far cooking and have made the following:
    Carrot soup
    HM coleslaw
2 dishes of corned beef and mashed potato pie
3 individual dishes of summer fruit crumble
1 jam pudding - a concoction made from left over crumble bound together with milk, pressed into a bowl and filled up with jam.

I shall also use the remainder of the cabbage with the corned beef and potato pie this evening. DS is terrible at eating vegetables so I mashed some of the blended carrots and onions from the soup into the corned beef when mixing it with gravy.

No exercise today and I doubt if I shall get out for a walk later as it is cold and damp and grey outside.

B: Muesli mixed with fruit and fibre, raisins and skimmed milk. Cranberry and raspberry juice.
L: Wrap with prawns, cucumber, tomato and HM coleslaw. Raspberries with HM Greek style yoghurt.
D: Corned beef and potato pie, green beans, cabbage. Banana.

Hello all, hope everyone is okay and has had a good weekend.
Me and OH went to the zoo yesterday as the weather was lovely, we took a packed lunch so that I didnt get tempted by the food they had there, also we saved money by not buying theres! Had a good day food wise, Special k and skimmed milk for brekkie, jam sandwich and fruit with half a flapjack for lunch and then a quorn sausage salad for dinner.

Woke up late today so didnt have any brekkie as it was nearly lunchtime! I made a quorn mince cottage pie for lunch made a massive dish full so we can have it over the next few days. I had a small piece of that with some baked beans. Planning to have just something very light for dinner as am still full after lunch. So probably just have a sandwich or salad. Going to have a run tonight as well.

I have to say that since starting this and doing lots of walking and running that I feel so much better in myself even though Ive only been doing it a few days! Yay! :j

Good advice from frogga about today being a good "start again" day. I've been feeling rather depressed about my inability to get to grips with the healthy eating/ eating less and after my initial loss things have just gone on the slide again.

I'm just so tired that getting proper exercise seems quite far away, and the tiredness is making my willpower flag a little (though I did put back the creamcakes I picked up in the supermarket today!).

Just feel crap and fat. Have two tops that fit me and am feeling frumpy and rubbish and don't like going out because I feel so self conscious at the moment. I know I've just had the baby and need to give myself time but I'm impatient and cross with myself!

    Rant over. :D

  • Evening All,

Still feeling "off colour". No eaten that much today or yesterday, mainly fruit and salad today. DD (2 3/4) is off her food as well so although I don't feel ill maybe we're both coming down with something

I'm gonna try an up my F&V intake this week and stop scoffing galaxy choc ices :o . Willl try to palm them off on OH tonight ;) .

I have a toy boy, but only by 7 months :p , Weird really, my past boyfriends had all been at least 6 years older than me so I caught a young un whilst I could ;)

Nix - hope you enjoyed every mouthful of your meal, the menu looked fantastic. Let us know what you had so we can all drool

Well done to all the fab loses cheerfulness, bobba, Keiss, kyle, floyd, suzid, Bigmumma, saversarn, sorry if I've missed anyone. If anyone fancies giving me a cyber kick up the bum then please feel free......

    Hi everyone :o

Its been a while since I last posted as I have been busy at work and at home but not fogotten about you! Hope you are all well?

An update on whats been happening with me. Put on 3/4 pound then didnt lose any weigh for a week. Weighed myself last week and I had lost 6lbs :D. Very surprised as have been out drinking for the last 2 weekend (with the seemingly obligatory late night chicken burger )

Have now bought a treadmill second hand mind you! Received bonus at work and thought I'd do something positive with it (yes I know I could have saved it :p). Too embarassing at the size I am to go out jogging but need to increase my cardio exercise. The last few weekend have been walking round London for 3-4 hours at at time with a friend. My clothes are now feeling a bit too big but nothing in my budget for new ones. I am using saftey pins at the moment :rotfl:

Cogratulations to all the losers! Promise I'll visit more often and will now try and catch up with all thats gone on.

    Bye for now x

    JoJoB,
i`ve been feeling exactly the same so i can sympathise heartily.

I think that at first i`m always raring to go but then life seems to get in the way and i fall back into old habits.
I`ve been feeling a teensy bit better today as i`ve got back to 15 st 4lb but it`s taken me an age to do it. Hopefully i`m back on track but all i can do is keep on trying :o
I get in the right frame of mind but then when i can`t get time to read the thread everyday i gradually slip out of it as the thread is the thing that keeps me motivated.
All i can say is keep trying, we`ll get there in the end:D

Planning on starting the GC again soon :p

    Hi

I'm glad i've got back on track i feel much better for it. I'm still scared about weighing on Tuesday. Hopefully my hobnob binge shouldn't cause that much damage. I have been on a 3 mile bike ride and have done an hours weeding so hopefully that will help.
